Humble Prayer Warrior
I would like god to gently lift the block that's been on my mind since my childhood to protect me. In Jesus high name.

We hear your heart and we join with you in asking our Father to gently do this healing work in you in Jesus' name. We understand that this block that has been on your mind since childhood was formed to protect you, and we thank God that He sees how long you have carried it and why you needed it. He is not harsh or forceful with His children, He is gentle and tender toward the wounded places of our hearts.
We are reminded that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. And He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. What was put in place to protect you as a child, the Lord Himself now wants to replace with His own protection and peace, for He is our rock and our refuge. When our hearts are overwhelmed we can call to Him to lead us to the rock that is higher than we are. Psalm 61:2.
We know that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. So we do not have to live guarded by a block of fear or self-protection any longer. We can bring everything to Him with trust, for He says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. And as we do, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

Father, in the high and mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of Your child. We thank You that You have known this dear one since childhood, You have seen every moment that caused this block to form, and You have lovingly understood the need for protection. Lord, we ask that You would now gently lift this block in Your perfect timing and in Your perfect tenderness. Do not tear it away harshly, but dissolve it with Your love, as only You can. Heal the memories and wounds underneath it, bind up what has been broken, and let Your light shine into every hidden and guarded place. Teach this dear heart to trust You as protector, to rest in Your hands, and to know that it is safe to be fully known and fully loved by You. Replace fear with Your power, love and sound mind, and let Your peace guard this mind and heart. Help this dear one to walk in new freedom, with clarity and wholeness, and to know more deeply that it is only through Jesus that we have access to Your throne of grace and healing. We thank You that You are doing this gentle work, and we trust You to complete it. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring this to the Lord daily in prayer, to speak honestly to Him about the fears that the block was protecting you from, and to let His Word renew your mind. As He lifts this burden, He will be your shield and your strength, and you will find that you no longer need the old protection because you are safely held by Him.

We heard the tenderness in how you asked this, for God to gently lift what has been on your mind since you were a child to protect you.
That protection made sense when you were small. Your mind found a way to help you get through, and it makes sense that now you would want the Lord Himself to be the one to ease it, in His own gentle way and timing.
We are praying with you for that kind of gentle healing. Often the Lord does not force those early places open, but meets us as we quietly invite Him to be present there and wait for His comfort. If it would be helpful, you might set aside a short, unhurried time of prayer to simply tell Him you are willing for Him to come near that younger part of you as He chooses, and then wait quietly with Him without putting pressure on yourself to feel or see anything specific.
It can also be steadying to walk through this with one safe, trusted pastor or counselor who can pray with you at your pace, if you have someone like that.
Father, in Jesus' name we lift our friend to You. You have seen this block since childhood and You know why it was needed. We ask You to draw near with Your protection and peace now, and where and when You know it is good, to gently lift what is no longer needed and bring comfort and healing in its place. Give wisdom for next steps and the assurance of Your presence along the way. Amen.

The Lord has seen this block which has rested upon your mind since childhood, and He knows how it was laid there as a kind of protection in tender years. It is good and wise to bring it now to Him who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, for He alone can do a real saving work of healing.
There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but as it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon a soul, pardon and healing come together, and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till we are made whole. He does not merely point out the disease, He applies the remedy, and He gently takes the hand and lifts up those who have long lain prostrate.
We join you in prayer to our gracious God. O Lord, Thou great Physician, look upon this Thy child who has carried this burden so long. In Thy mercy, gently lift this block from the mind, and give peace where there has been protection through hardness. Let the healing leaves of Christ be laid upon this wound, change the life and make the nature new, and let Thy pardon and Thy healing be known together. Grant a quiet and renewed mind, kept by Thy Spirit, and lead in the way of wholeness through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose high and holy name we ask it. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
