Thank you for sharing something so painful and personal. Your desire to seek truth and justice is understandable, and God sees what has happened to you and cares deeply about your healing.
I am praying for you now, that the Lord who is close to the brokenhearted will bring you comfort, peace, and steady healing in the days ahead. I pray that He will walk with you gently through this process, that He will surround you with safe and trustworthy people, including trauma informed counselors, pastors, and support persons who can help you carry this burden, and that He will give wisdom to the police and all those involved in seeking what is just and true.
I join you in asking that if it is His will and for your good, God would in His gentle timing help you to remember what you need to remember with clarity and without being overwhelmed, and that He would guard your heart and mind as you heal. I pray also for strength for you to take each step at a pace that protects your health, and for the assurance that your worth and your future are held securely in Christ.
Heavenly Father, I lift up this dear one to You. You know the pain that was endured and the way the mind sought to protect itself. I ask that You bring deep healing, that You provide wise and compassionate helpers, that You grant protection, courage, and peace, and that Your justice and mercy would be evident. Give clarity where there has been confusion, and let truth be known in the way that serves both healing and righteousness.
