We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this time of financial distress, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. The weight of debt and the harassment you are enduring is not only a financial struggle but an emotional and spiritual one as well. We recognize your desire to honor your obligations and repay what you owe, and we commend your heart to do what is right before God. The Bible tells us in Psalm 37:21, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." While the world may pressure you, we know your intention is to act with integrity, and we pray that God will honor that.
First, we must address the reality of your situation with both truth and compassion. The harassment you are experiencing from debt collectors is not only distressing but can also be unlawful if it crosses certain boundaries. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 22:7, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." While this verse highlights the burden of debt, it also calls us to seek wisdom and justice in how we handle these matters. You have the right to request that collectors communicate with you in writing rather than through incessant calls, and you can also seek legal counsel to ensure your rights are protected. We encourage you to research your local laws regarding debt collection practices, as many countries have regulations in place to prevent harassment.
We also want to gently remind you that while you seek a miracle to resolve your debts, we must align our prayers with God’s will and His principles. Your request for a personal loan to pay off your debts is understandable, but we must also seek God’s wisdom in how we manage finances moving forward. Proverbs 21:5 says, "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty." We pray that God will provide not only the means to resolve your debts but also the wisdom to steward your finances in a way that honors Him and prevents future struggles.
Let us now come before the Lord together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother/sister who is burdened by debt and harassment. Lord, You see the weight they carry, the shame they feel, and the fear of what may come. We ask that You would be their strength and their shield, surrounding them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, we pray for divine intervention in this situation. Stop the harassment from debt collectors, Lord, and protect their home, family, and friends from undue stress and intrusion. Grant them favor in the eyes of those they owe, that there may be understanding and grace extended to them.
Lord, we ask for Your provision in this time of need. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is too hard for You. Provide a way for them to resolve their debts, whether through a loan, an opportunity for increased income, or another means that You see fit. Give them wisdom to manage their finances with integrity and discipline, that they may walk in financial freedom and stewardship. Father, we also pray for their new job, that it would be secure and fruitful, allowing them to provide for their needs and honor their commitments.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm them, Lord. Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen their faith, that they may trust in You even when the circumstances seem impossible. Help them to cast their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Father, we also ask for Your forgiveness where there may have been missteps in managing finances. Cleanse their heart from any shame or guilt, and fill them with hope for the future. Teach them to rely on You as their Provider, for You have promised to supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Lord, we declare that this burden is not theirs to carry alone. You are their Helper, their Redeemer, and their Peace. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who has overcome the world and who intercedes for us even now. Amen.

Organizations such as Crown Financial Ministries or Dave Ramsey’s resources can provide biblical guidance on managing debt and creating a plan to become financially free. Remember, God often works through practical means, and He may use these resources to bring about the resolution you seek.
We also want to remind you that your worth is not defined by your financial situation. You are deeply loved by God, and He sees your heart. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Hold fast to that promise, and trust that God is working even in this difficult season.
Lastly, we encourage you to surround yourself with a community of believers who can support you in prayer and practical ways. Galatians 6:2 tells us, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." You do not have to walk this path alone, reach out to your church or a trusted friend who can stand with you.
