Beloved of All
I am having it hard today as my son starts a new school tomorrow with his dad who lives in another state. I’ve asked for prayers on this to allow him to to receive what he needs from dad but bring him back home. I’m asking for prayers to give me strength. It’s day 3 he moved and it all just feels unreal. I have faith he will come back home. I do not know what would hold him back but he did say he wanted to finish school with his dad. He is a sophomore, I never in his ### years missed his first day of school or bringing him to school or missed anything of his. This is a first for me. ### years of living on our own , me him and his sister and this is the first time we are separated and it’s only 3 days. I want to be the one he graduates highschool with. Missing his highschool years is devastating but when I’m not in my emotions it’s like I know he will come back home and finish with me but when I allow the enemy to feed my mind I start to think doubts and I rebuke the fear of the enemy in my mind. My son will return home, this is the only hope and belief I have. Please pray. 🙏🏼 and thank you all from a torn moms heart.

We hear the deep ache in your heart, dear sister, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your son and this painful separation before the throne of grace. The love of a mother is a reflection of God’s own heart, and we know how fiercely you long to be the one to walk beside your son through these formative years. Scripture tells us in Isaiah 49:15, "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you." Even when our emotions threaten to overwhelm us, we cling to the truth that God’s love for your son, and for you, is even greater than your own.

This season is undoubtedly difficult, but we rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to plant fear and doubt in your mind. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your son will return home, just as you have spoken in faith. Until then, we pray for God’s peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and for His strength to sustain you in the waiting. You are not alone, He sees every tear, hears every prayer, and holds your son in His hands.

We also lift up your son’s father before the Lord. While this situation is painful, we pray that God would work in his heart as well, that he would be a source of godly influence and provision for your son during this time. May your son receive what he needs from this season, whether it be wisdom, maturity, or a deeper understanding of God’s plan for his life. But we also pray that the Lord would make a way for your son to return home to you, as you have faithfully believed. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Your years of love and dedication have not been in vain.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this mother and her son. Lord, You know the depth of her love and the pain of this separation. We ask that You would comfort her with Your presence, reminding her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Strengthen her faith in the midst of this trial, and let her hope in You be her anchor.

Father, we pray for her son as he begins this new chapter. Surround him with Your protection, wisdom, and peace. Give him godly friends, mentors, and influences who will point him toward You. We ask that You would soften his heart to Your leading and make clear the path You have for him. If it is Your will, Lord, bring him back home to his mother, where he belongs. But above all, draw him closer to You, that he may know You as his Savior and Lord.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and doubt that seeks to torment this mother’s mind. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Give her the strength to stand firm in faith, even when the days feel long and the nights feel lonely.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and grace in this family dynamic. If there are wounds that need healing, we ask that You would bring restoration. If there are decisions that need to be made, we ask that You would provide clarity. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who calms our storms and carries our burdens. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. This season is not forever, and your son’s absence does not diminish the love you have poured into him or the foundation you have laid in his life. Continue to speak life over this situation, just as you have done here. The enemy would love nothing more than to see you consumed by fear, but God has not given you a spirit of fear, He has given you power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand on His Word, and trust that He is at work, even when you cannot see it.

You are a strong and faithful mother, and your love for your son is a testament to the love of our Heavenly Father. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and know that we are standing with you in prayer. Your son will return home, we believe it with you. Until then, may God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We hear how much you are carrying today. For all these years, the first day of school has been yours to share with him, and now that rhythm has been broken by distance. It is a real loss, and it is okay to grieve it even while you still hold on to hope. Three days can feel like a long time to a mother’s heart.

When the fearful thoughts come, try not to fight them for very long. You do not have to win every internal argument tonight. Instead, anchor yourself in something small and steady, like a goodnight text to your son or planning a care package for his new room. Staying connected in normal, low-pressure ways can give your heart a place to rest while he settles in with his dad. Your bond is not erased by an address change.

Let us pray.

Father, we bring this mom before you with her heart both aching and hoping. Please hold her steady in these first days. Give her strength for the waiting and calm for her racing thoughts. Watch over her son as he starts this new school and lives in another state. Walk with him through every hallway and classroom. Help him feel supported on all sides, and give him wisdom about what he truly needs. Guard the bond between this mother and her son across the miles, and guide every decision about where he finishes school according to your will. Comfort her when the sadness rises, and remind her she is not alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The cry of a torn mother's heart is not lost before the throne of grace. Day three of this separation has brought you low, but the Lord knows the way that you take, and when He has tried you, you shall come forth as gold. You have not missed a first day of school these many years, and now the first day comes and your son is not under your roof. That is a real grief, and the God who made a mother's heart does not despise it.

You do well to rebuke the doubts and fears that come to your mind. The enemy would have you despair, but he is a liar from the beginning. Yet I would also have you set your hope not chiefly upon the boy's return, but upon the Lord who holds both you and your son. The desire to have him finish his schooling with you is natural, and it may be granted; but hold it with an open hand. The Lord may bring him back at the appointed time, or the Lord may keep him in his father's house for a season and do good there that you cannot yet see. What is hidden from a mother's eye is plain to Him.

I have often said that all strength apart from God is derived strength and must fail. When there remains no strength in you, then fling yourself upon Divine strength and lay hold upon it. The promise stands, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. You are not called to carry tomorrow's burden with today's strength. You are called to wait, to pray, and to trust. Day by day the manna falls, and day by day the Lord will be sufficient for you.

Pray not only for the return of your son's body to your house, but for the keeping of his soul. The Lord is the God who hears the cry, Return, return. Whether his outward steps turn homeward soon or late, the Lord can turn his heart and give him wisdom in his new school. Commit him to the Lord, and leave the times and seasons with your Father in heaven.

Let us pray for you now. O Lord, You are the Father of mercies and the strength of the weak; look upon this mother in her loneliness. Keep her son under the shadow of Your wings; give him wisdom and godly companions in his new school; and if it be Your will, bring him home at the time You appoint. If You have other purposes, give this dear woman the strength to say, Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. Renew her heart, silence the enemy, and let her know that underneath are the everlasting arms. For Jesus' sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

A mother's grief is no small thing in the eyes of God. The Lord who saw the widow of Nain and was moved with compassion sees you today. It is not weakness to weep over this separation; it is the mark of real love. Yet no one passes through this life without sorrow, and each person feels her own sorrow most keenly. You are not being punished by feeling this so deeply.

But do not let sorrow become a door for the enemy. You have already seen the truth when you are not in your emotions: your hope must not rest in a particular outcome only, but in the God who holds your son. I join you in praying that God would guard him in his father's house, give him what he truly needs, and in His own time bring him back to you if that is His will. But let your heart go further. God often delays what we ask so that we will keep fleeing to Him. As a loving mother allows a child to feel the need to run back to her arms, so God permits this ache so that you will cling to Him and not to your own plan.

Do not let the enemy feed you doubts. Distance cannot cut off your prayers. The Holy Spirit is with your son in another state and with you in your home. You are not orphans. The Lord has not forgotten the first days, the years, or the love you have given. Nothing is hidden from Him.

So bring this sorrow to the altar and lay it down. Say to the Lord: "I ask for my son to return. But if You delay, I will trust You. If You allow more time with his father, I will still trust You. I will not make an idol of my own plan for his high school years." That is hard, but it is the way of peace. Your love for him is strong; God's love for him is stronger.

I pray with you now: Father of mercies, comfort this mother. Settle her mind. Silence the voice of the enemy. Protect her son, give him wisdom, and work in that household for good. Bring him home in Your perfect time if it is Your will, and give her strength for today. Hold her fast. Amen.
