Beloved of All
God has been good to me so many times but why do I still don't trust him and have faith? When things are happening to me that are negative, I sit on the edge with deep anxiety and fear. All my life I've been tormented by these negative thoughts. I just want peace and joy. I don't ask much from God; I just want my spiritual life to be in the right place, my kids to be healthy, and my marriage to be healthy.

We hear the cry of your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting up your struggle with anxiety and fear. It is not uncommon for believers to experience these battles, even when they have seen the faithfulness of God time and time again. The apostle Paul himself spoke of a "thorn in the flesh" that tormented him, and though he pleaded with the Lord three times for it to be removed, God’s answer was, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). This does not mean God delights in our suffering, but that He uses even our struggles to draw us closer to Him and to reveal His strength in our weakness.

Your desire for peace, joy, a right spiritual life, healthy children, and a thriving marriage is not too much to ask—it is a godly longing. But the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 WEB), and one of his most effective tactics is to plant seeds of doubt and fear in our minds. When negative circumstances arise, he whispers lies: *"God isn’t really in control. What if He doesn’t come through this time? What if the worst happens?"* These thoughts are not from the Lord. Scripture tells us, *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). The anxiety you feel is not a sign of weak faith—it is a call to fight the good fight of faith with the weapons God has given you.

We must rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus. Fear is a liar, and it has no place in the life of a child of God. Jesus said, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful"* (John 14:27 WEB). This peace is not the absence of trouble but the presence of Christ in the midst of it. You have seen God’s goodness in your life—now is the time to stand on His promises, not your feelings. When fear arises, declare aloud: *"The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1 WEB).

We also encourage you to examine your thought life. The Bible tells us to *"take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB). When anxious thoughts come, do not entertain them. Instead, replace them with truth. Meditate on scriptures like Philippians 4:6-7: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Anxiety often stems from trying to control what only God can control. Surrender your children, your marriage, and your future to Him daily. Trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is battling anxiety and fear. Lord, You have been faithful to them in the past, and we declare that Your faithfulness is not dependent on their feelings or circumstances. We rebuke the spirit of fear in the mighty name of Jesus. We break its power over their mind, will, and emotions. Father, fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their faith. Help them to remember Your past faithfulness and to stand firm on Your promises. When fear whispers lies, let Your truth drown out every doubt. Teach them to take every thought captive and to replace anxiety with praise. Father, we also lift up their children and their marriage. Protect their family from the schemes of the enemy. Let Your love and unity reign in their home.

We pray for joy to replace their sorrow, for trust to replace their doubt, and for peace to replace their anxiety. May they experience the fullness of life that Jesus came to give. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come boldly before Your throne. Amen.

Remember, dear one, that your battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God. Stand firm, and do not grow weary. The same God who parted the Red Sea, shut the mouths of lions, and raised Jesus from the dead is fighting for you. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Keep your eyes on Him, not on your circumstances. He is worthy of your trust.

We're right here with you, friend. It's easy to feel overwhelmed when anxiety and fear creep in, even when we've seen God's goodness time and time again. But remember, God's not surprised by your struggles. He's right there with you, just as He was with Paul in his thorny trial.

You're asking for peace, joy, a right spiritual life, healthy kids, and a thriving marriage. Those are good, godly desires! But the enemy doesn't want you to have them. He wants to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he uses doubt and fear to do it. But we serve a God who's bigger than any fear. He's given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control, not one of fear (2 Timothy 1:7).

Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27) That peace isn't about the absence of trouble, but the presence of Christ in the midst of it. So, let's claim that peace together, shall we?

We're praying for you right now, dear one. We're asking God to fill you with His perfect peace, to strengthen your faith, and to protect your family. We're trusting in Jesus' name, because He's the only name by which we're saved and can come boldly before God's throne.

And remember, your battle isn't against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). So, put on the full armor of God daily - truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God. Stand firm, and don't grow weary. The same God who parted the Red Sea, shut the mouths of lions, and raised Jesus from the dead is fighting for you. He's your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your eyes on Him, not on your circumstances. He's worthy of your trust.

You're not alone in this. We're in this together, and God's got this.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want you to know how much we appreciate the trust you placed in us by sharing your heart and allowing us to stand with you in prayer. It’s clear how deeply you love the Lord and long to rest in His promises, even when anxiety and fear try to pull you away. We’ve been lifting you up before our Father, asking Him to quiet the storms within and remind you of His faithfulness in every season.

If the Lord has met you in a special way—if you’ve felt His peace wrapping around you, if moments of joy have begun to break through the fear, or if you’ve sensed His presence holding you steady—we would love to celebrate that with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in what He’s done.

If the battle still feels heavy, if the anxiety lingers, or if you’re wrestling with doubt, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We’re here to keep praying, to keep believing with you, and to remind you that you’re not alone. The Lord sees your struggle, and He is near to the brokenhearted. We’ll continue to ask Him to strengthen your faith, to guard your mind with His peace, and to fill your home with His joy—your spiritual walk, your children’s well-being, and your marriage.

May the Holy Spirit comfort you, may His Word anchor your heart, and may you feel the Father’s love drawing you closer each day. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus.
