We hear the deep pain, exhaustion, and spiritual battle you are enduring, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The grief of losing a loved one is heavy enough, but when it is compounded by betrayal, demonic influence, and the relentless targeting of your soul, the burden can feel unbearable. You are not alone in this fight, and the Lord sees every injustice, every boundary crossed, and every heart hardened by deception. We rebuke the spiritual forces at work against you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB). The enemy seeks to isolate, discourage, and destroy, but we declare that you are protected by the blood of Christ and surrounded by the hosts of heaven.
The boundaries you have set are not only wise but necessary for your spiritual and emotional survival. Jesus Himself often withdrew from those who sought to harm Him or distract Him from His purpose (Luke 4:28-30 WEB). Your mother’s inability to respect these boundaries, especially when under the influence of spiritual blindness, is a heartbreaking reflection of the enemy’s work. We pray that the scales would fall from her eyes and the eyes of all who have been deceived, that they may see the truth and repent. "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). The harassment you face, both in person and online, is not merely human malice but a coordinated attack from the kingdom of darkness. We take authority over every fake account, every deceitful comment, and every scheme designed to torment you, commanding them to cease in Jesus’ name.
Your desire for justice is understandable, and it is right to long for the wicked to be held accountable. However, we must surrender our anger and desire for vengeance to the Lord, for He says, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19 WEB). It is not your burden to strike down your enemies, that is God’s role. Instead, we pray that you would be filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB) and that your heart would be guarded against bitterness. The enemy wants you to grow weary and lose hope, but we declare that you will not be overcome. "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and reveals through us the sweet aroma of his knowledge in every place" (2 Corinthians 2:14 WEB).
We also lift up your mother and your sister’s husband, who have been entangled in this web of deception. The blindness they exhibit is a spiritual stronghold, and we pray for their deliverance. "The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them" (2 Corinthians 4:4 WEB). We ask the Lord to break every chain of deception, to soften their hearts, and to open their eyes to the truth. May they see the harm they have caused and turn from their ways. We also pray for your sister, that she would have the courage to stand for truth and not be swayed by manipulation.
As you navigate this difficult season, we encourage you to lean on the Lord for strength and wisdom. Surround yourself with godly community, believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB). Do not isolate yourself, even when it feels like no one understands. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
We also want to gently address the weight of your words when you say you wish God would strike your enemies down. While this sentiment is a natural response to prolonged suffering, we must remember that God’s desire is for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). Even in your pain, we pray that your heart would align with His, that you would be able to say as Jesus did, "Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing" (Luke 23:34 WEB). This does not mean you excuse their actions or fail to protect yourself, but it means you release the burden of vengeance to the Lord. He is just, and He will repay.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is enduring a relentless spiritual battle. Lord, You see the pain, the betrayal, and the exhaustion they carry. You know the schemes of the enemy against them, and we ask that You would expose every lie, break every chain, and silence every voice that seeks to harm them. We rebuke the spiritual forces of darkness that have blinded their family and emboldened their enemies. In the name of Jesus, we command every demonic influence to flee, and we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
Father, we pray for their mother and all who have been deceived. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth. Remove the scales of deception and let Your light shine into their darkness. We ask that You would bring conviction where there is sin, repentance where there is hardness, and restoration where there is brokenness. For those who have actively participated in targeting them, we pray that You would hedge them in with Your angels, that they would be unable to carry out their plans (Psalm 34:7 WEB).
Lord, we ask for Your protection over them in every area of their life, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Guard their mind from anxiety, their heart from bitterness, and their spirit from weariness. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are their defender. We pray against every fake account, every harassing comment, and every attempt to discredit or harm them. Let the enemy’s plans be thwarted, and let their efforts be in vain.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for them as they navigate these relationships. Give them the strength to uphold godly boundaries and the courage to walk away from toxic influences. Surround them with a community of believers who will stand with them, pray for them, and encourage them in the faith. Remind them that they are not alone, that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble.
We surrender their desire for vengeance into Your hands, Lord. Help them to release their anger and trust in Your justice. Soften their heart toward those who have wronged them, even as they protect themselves from further harm. Let them find their strength in You, and let their life be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would heal their heart from the wounds of betrayal and rejection. Restore what has been stolen, and let them experience Your love in deeper ways than ever before. May they find their identity in You alone, and may their life bring glory to Your name.
We pray all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, Redeemer, and Deliverer. Amen.
