Marriage

Dear Lord,

Each one of us is in a different place. Our marriages are facing different kinds of trials and transitions. No matter where each one of us is at, we pray for the strength to endure. May Your power manifest within us and may Your Holy Spirit guide us. Help us to be sensitive to Your voice as You direct our steps. We pray for peace of mind and peace in our hearts. Dear Lord,

You are the God of healing. We pray for those out there that are broken mentally and spiritually. Maybe they have done things that they are completely ashamed of, and desperately need freedom from. Maybe they have been made to do something they wish they never did. Their mind and spirit has been so weakened and beaten by the guilt. Please heal them and redeem them. Meet with them right now and draw them to You with Your grace and mercy. They need it, Lord. We need it, Lord.

Thank You for the deep love and compassion You show to us. We pray that You would give husbands and wives that same depth of love and compassion. Not only toward each other and our children, but also towards our neighbors and friends. We know that if we all operated in this kind of heart and mind, that we could change the world and our marriages!

Dear Lord,

Thank you for Your word. It is the guide that we lean on for everything. We pray that husband and wives would love one another with gentleness and understanding. Your word tells us to not be harsh with each other. It also tells us to be slow to anger and slow to speak, but quick to listen. Dear Lord,

Thank You for today. Even though we get sick, we are so thankful for all the gifts You have given to us. Thank You for our family and thank You for each other. We pray for healing for anyone who may be feeling awful. We pray protection over our families that they do not get sick. Please let any sickness pass quickly so we can continue pressing forward.

Please never let us get lazy in how we communicate with each other. Never let us approach each other like we are just someone in one another’s life. We pray that our hearts would be sensitive and compassionate toward each other. We pray we would think about what we say before we speak.
