Marriage

Dear Lord,

We pray that we would grow in spiritual maturity. We pray that we would pursue the knowledge of Your word and would learn to walk out Your wisdom daily in our lives and marriages. We want our children to know what godly men and women look and act like. Lord, You tell us in your word that if anyone lacks wisdom that they should ask You and You would give it to them. Lord, give us wisdom.

Dear Lord,

You have graciously distributed gifts among Your body. You have given each one of us not only Your spirit, but also spiritual gifts. You have given some the gift of teaching, and some the gift of hospitality. Others, You have given the gift of generosity. Lord, You have given us all these things and so much more for the edification of the body. We pray that we would seek diligently how we can grow and mature in these gifts, as well as how You would have us use them in the church...

 

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the lessons You have taught us throughout our lives, especially the tough and bitter ones. Those experiences have shown us that patience and perseverance are virtues we must embrace. Lord, we pray that we would run with everything in us towards Your will and Your way. Fill us with your abundant love, grace, mercies, and Your wisdom.

Dear Lord,

We pray that we can stay on the same page with each other. It seems that sometimes we make decisions that are not considerate of one another. We are so sorry for being so selfish.
