Marriage

Dear Lord,

You are so good! Your love never ends and Your mercies are new every morning. Thank you for Your patience and kindness with us. Thank you for sending us Your son so that we can be healed from the curse of sin. You are more good to us than we could ever earn or deserve. You have blessed us with beautiful children and one another. Lord, we pray that other married couples would recognize and acknowledge Your goodness today.

We pray for our hearts. We pray that when hard days come, we do not lose hope, or focus, or self-control. We pray we can remain steadfast in You. We pray we can trust in You. Please help us to be kind towards each other and live together in an understanding way, even when our patience is tested and our frustration is high. Please help us to have self-control when circumstances are not going the way we desire them to.
