Dear Lord,

Thank you for Your overwhelming love for us! Thank you for our lives and the grace You have extended to us. Your gifts are amazing and they help us see that You see us as worthy. We lift up our marriage to You and ask that You would guide us. May your Holy Spirit lead us through this life and enable us to share Your gospel with those around us. May You increase our love, that we may genuinely love extravagantly! Inspire us to love each other more, to honor each other and to serve...

Thank you for coming into this world as a man. You came to love and to serve, to be a sacrifice for all mankind. We celebrate Your life Jesus because it has radically changed ours! Thank you for doing all that You did while here on earth and all that You continue to do. You have touched our marriage in a way that nothing ever has. You saved our marriage from falling apart. Dear Lord,

We come before You and humbly ask You to reveal Your will for our lives. We want to be sure that the decisions we are making align with Your plan for us! Holy Spirit please guide us, anoint our decisions, speak to us, and show us God’s will. If we start to turn from Your awesome will, please direct us back to what You have for us. We pray that You speak to us and confirm for us in those moments that seem quiet, still, or silent. Give us the strength and the faith to wait on you...

Make us gentle in spirit and word towards each other. Help us to be quicker to listen and slower to speak. Lord, we want to teach our children what it looks like to be gentle and loving to their future spouses. Lord, we want to walk in the spirit and not the flesh. Thank you for Your word. Thank you for inspiring every word in the Bible. You have given us Your word to transform us and to renew us. It is through Your word that we find freedom and power to walk out our faith. Lord, we pray that we would not try and change the meaning of Your word to fit our lifestyle and way of thinking, but rather allow Your word to change us to fit into Your way of thinking and living.
