Dear Lord,

We pray for strength in a world that is getting darker and darker. The enemy is throwing everything he has at us to try and disqualify us from the work you have for us as Christians. God, please protect our eyes, ears, mouths, minds, hands, and feet. Most of all, protect our hearts from being lead away from You. We love You Lord, and need your strength in us.

Sometimes I see an article in which a sexologist or marriage educator suggests that it’s good for a relationship to watch porn together. Of course, I disagree. Thank you for today and thank you for Your Word. Lord, You have given us your whole counsel and wisdom in one document. You have inspired the hands of all 40 authors with Your revelation. You have preserved Your words throughout every generation. Lord, we pray that we would be people who would conform to the culture of Your kingdom instead of the world’s culture. We pray that we would found our lives on the rock of the word. We pray that we would not try to mold Your word to us...

 

Dear God,

Thank you for the gift of marriage. We pray that we can continue to build trust with each other. We pray that we would remain faithful to the vows we committed to, and strive to be ever increasing in finding ways to improve our relationship. We thank You, Lord, that You have shown us how to forgive and extend grace to one another, especially when our hearts would rather be hard. We pray that we continue to forgive each other when needed, and that through forgiving we can move...

 

Dear Lord,

We have all fallen short of Your glory. We all have sinned. We all have gone our own way. Lord, You sent Your Son to redeem us even though we were still in our sin. Through Him, we can have freedom from our guilt and shame. Teach us Lord and remind us daily of our freedom and the grace and mercy You have shown us.
