Marriage

Dear Lord,

Thank You for forgiving us. Thank You for sending Your Son for the atonement of sin. Thank You for saving us. We pray we would understand the depths of forgiveness. We pray we would understand just how much we have been forgiven. Lord, please keep our hearts tender to the grace You have given us. Please help us to forgive ourselves. Please remove the gut-wrenching shame and guilt that we feel for the choices we have made. We also pray You would help us to continually forgive...

Dear Lord,

As my husband and I look forward to the new year, I pray we would submit our goals and desires before You. I pray You would be the one to direct our hearts and show us the way You want us to go or the things You want us to do together. I pray we would pursue You passionately. I pray we would do all that You ask of us with courage. I pray we enjoy this next year together as our marriage continues to mature in Jesus’ name AMEN!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Marriage is a dance. Every day my husband and I dance with each other in conversation, we dance through our daily routines, and sometimes we spontaneously dance with each other in the kitchen. Marriage is a dance. I pray that my husband and I continue to dance, that we would embrace one another as we come together to do life with purpose. I also pray for other couples, that they would embrace the dance of marriage and embrace each other in Jesus’ name AMEN!

Dear Heavenly Father,

I try to make good decisions. I desire to make good decisions. However, sometimes I am weak, I slip, I fail, I am unwise. Thank You for Your grace and forgiveness. I am forever grateful. I pray for Your wisdom to guide me and that I can make good decisions for me, my marriage and my family. I also pray that You would anoint my husband so that he would also make good decisions, especially as he leads our family. I pray as we are faced with decisions together we can...

Most years, I’ve given a gift to my readers at Christmas. This (totally frustrating, can we have a do-over) year, it’s been a bit more challenging to put it all together. So I’m posting this later than intended. But you’ve all been so nice, or properly naughty, or just here … that I’m happy to present Marriage & Mistletoe, an original, printable...
