Most of us have heard the saying, voiced by someone who feels overlooked, "What am I, chopped liver?"Well, reading through the Bible, we can see that God does not consider animals to be chopped liver. They were created before Man, and the Bible states,"God looked and saw that all was good."At the flood, God could have just saved Noah and his family, but he took male and female of every animal so that they, too, could go on.We read of Jeus riding a white horse. We're told of the lion laying down with the lamb.So apparently, much is said about animals.Except this...for people, we know after death they either go to hell{unsaved} or Heaven{saved}.So we know the fate of people after death. But what happens to an animal after death?Anything about...
One thing I hear about in Christian circles, and there are points made pro and con on it, is the age of accountability. The thought is, well, God is fair, so because a child can't make a decision for salvation, God "makes an exception" and shows grace. But the other side states, well, sin can't enter Heaven, and technically, we all inherited sin through our first parents,so that kid is not, technically, "sinless".And God would have to" bend the rules"to "let the kid slide" and let him enter Heaven if he dies young.Well first, I don't known what the exact"age of accountability" is,{some say 13}, but from cases I heard, kids can definitely do sinful things, like I hear adults who brag, they were smoking , or even started with drugs, when they...
It's easy to give praise reports when you have a perfect record of every prayer being answered. But I can think of a situation I've had, {and maybe some of you}, where, unless you're a masochist, you're NOT so happy. It's called prayers that haven't worked. In my own situations, the 2 biggest thorns in my side are busyness and dealing with troublesome people. Now, some prayers God has given me breakthroughs. But here's the ones I DIDN'T get out of the situations I prayed about.I've had where I have prayed with many people about removing a troublesome person from my life.Yet a few minutes after hanging up on the call on the prayer line,my cell phone rings, I check the number, and it's the annoying, troublesome person!!I was so confident...
You know what? Something came to me, let's see if I have a point.I don't think it's coincidence that different people have different problems. I think the devil knows what pushes ones buttons individually, and what the person is most concerned about, and attacks accordingly.Check it out..what would disturb one person, another might brush off, or vice versa.Sooo..let's say one person is worried about their finances, then hears they got layed off at the "worst" time. Another might have a different issue, so the devil can plant doubt in his/her mind about that specific thing. Before thinking that's "far fetched", notice how each person has a different sin. The one tempted by homosexuality isn't tempted by crime, or a third person with...
Hallelujah, You have overcome all trials, all tribulations. Jesus, You are the Savior and Lord of all. You took all our burdens away, all our worries and fears are all gone because of Your mercy and compassion. That is the reason why we must bow down before You in adoration, in praise and honor You all the days of our life. Riches I hid not, nor mans empty praise. Thou my inheritance, now and always. Thou and Thou only, first in my heart. O King of glory, my treasure Thou art. And then, smelling and feeling the holy presence of Jesus around us, let us all be thankful for what He did for us. Share with others. Tell them what He has done for you. Feelings will not get you anywhere but the presence of His presence in your...
All Christians everywhere should be a shining light to those who live with, who are surround with and wherever they go proclaim the the glorious presence of Jesus shining all over the place. Jesus said. Without Me, you can do nothing. Trust in the Lord and wait for Him all the time. Wait for His promises to come true. Sometimes it takes a long time to accomplish what has been said. Comfort those troubled souls just as Jesus did. So, if you are having... Happy moments? Praise your heavenly Father. He gives joy to our hearts like no one else can. Difficult moments may come to you. Seek the Lord. He is ready to help you and guide your steps to glory. Quiet your soul before the Lord. He said. In quietness and confidence...
At the supermarket, we see expiration dates for items.Same on coupons. But I notice something happening with my prayer requests that looks similar. If I go in prayer about something many times in time God does solve the problem--but then, thinking the solution to that specific problem is done, I don't keep in prayer about it after that. But then a while later, the problem comes back. The Bible says to continue praying, but I though that meant in general, I thought once you pray for a SPECIFIC problem, when you see in leave, it's over with.So it makes me wonder if your prayer{for that specific thing}"expires" after a certain amount of time?I thought God can permanently solve the problem. What's up?
