Having been Spiritually led into a place of quiet refrain, I pray the God will grant me reprieve for this small deviation. I was so moved by this video during a recent web surf; my spirit absolutely beams each time I watch it. I simply cannot with this church . . . this is just too sweet. “Worship 101” - what a blessing. “Because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.” FATHER in Heaven, in giving humble gratitude for the little things, I lift this church up in Your name, that it be little no more. I ask that You open the floodgates and fill this place with worshippers, as these have filled their mouths with praise. Cause now their praises to be heard throughout the land. Let everyone who...
A prayer for God's peace Thursday 27th September 2018 'You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you.' Isaiah 26:3 NLT God's peace doesn't mean we'll have a stress-free life. Instead, it gives us the security of knowing that when problems come, we don't have to be anxious, because God is with us. Today, pray this prayer for God's peace: 'Lord, your Word says, "God's peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ" (Philippians 4:7 NCV). Today, I need this amazing peace to settle my nerves and calm my mind. Fill my heart with your peace, until there's no room left for stress and worry. Your Word says, "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust you" (Isaiah 26:3 NLT). Instead of...
We recognize certain things that we can say are from the Fall.We wouldn't have died, but inherited imperfect bodies,so death.{"Through one man death entered in".}Sinful nature happened after the Original Sin.But one thing I see, and have been on the receiving end of myself, is unfairness.Like, because people are imperfect{and not everyone has as much perception as me, to "read between the lines"} many accept a stereotype about this type of person or another, and act upon it,which to the one who is on the receiving end of it,and doesn't fit the stereotype, it's not "fair" to them. Then,we see imbalance in things, like, those who want to "tone down" on work, actually get more of it, so they don't have time to do their thing,or have to do it...
Be content Wednesday 26th September 2018 'I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.' Philippians 4:11 NIV Discontentment. It stops us from feeling joy and living life to the full. The Bible says we must learn to be content 'whatever the circumstances' (Philippians 4:11 NIV). This can be hard. We see what other people have or have achieved and want the same. When we start comparing our lives to others' lives, discontentment finds its way in and causes us to forget all the blessings and gifts God has given us. Discontentment clouds all the good and makes us think our lives are not good enough. Contentment, on the other hand, recognises all the good, despite the negatives or lack of. There'll always be people who...
When you are so hungry, you worked so hard all day long and want a decious food to be in front of you, then you think of these things.... Roast beef with all the trimmings. Fish a la carte. Chicken on a pot. Something to remember before you eat anything. Thank God for all the blessings you have been given. It is Him who gives you strenght to work and wisdom to get wonderful food. Eat grains, vegetables and fruits. It is good for you.
Jesus alone is the joy of our hearts. He brings happiness and peace down deep in our soul. Surround yourself with someone who makes you happy and joyful. They are full of the Holy Spirit and live in the holy presence of Jesus. People who make you laugh are the ones who enjoy Gods presence through prayer and fasting for losts souls salvation. Happy people love to help others in need. Opening a feeding center for the homeless and for those who lost their job. They genuily care for others just as Jesus did. They are worth keeping in your life because of their love to Jesus they serve in the church as ushers and song leaders. Happy people forgive others even those who are sorry for their actions. Holding on anger hurts only you...
Understanding Satan's role (5) Tuesday 25th September 2018 'Satan has demanded the right to test each one of you.' Luke 22:31 CEV Luke writes: 'Jesus said, "Simon, listen to me! Satan has demanded the right to test each one of you, as a farmer does when he separates wheat from the husks. But Simon, I have prayed that your faith will be strong. And when you have come back to me, help the others"' (Luke 22:31-32 CEV). When we're determined to make a difference for God in the world, and to advance his Kingdom, we'll most likely face more intense attack from Satan as he doesn't want us to be doing God's work. But, Jesus said, 'All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me' (Matthew 28:18 NIV). So, when we come under...
