I keep hearing things that have been called sin in the Bible, nowadays being shrugged off as an "old fashioned" way of thinking. Especially by young people "coming out", and feeling "independent", and parroting all the wrong voices, and also by "liberal" politicians. Like, to hear viewpoints on gay "marriage", not even only the gays themselves, but these "liberals', we've "evolved" over the last generation, we're not as "narrow-minded". Also I hear, "the Bible was written in the context of its time, things have changed." Our parents weren't as "educated" as us. {According to these liberals.} Interesting, they're the ones that are deceived, yet they think the moral ones are wrong. As Jesus said, "Father forgive them for THEY KNOW NOT...
🎥 Our God - Chris Tomlin (And If Our God Is For Us) - YouTube 🎥 Blessed Assurance Christian Worship Song Lyrics - YouTube 🎥 Wonderful, Merciful Savior with lyrics - YouTube 🎥 Be Strong in the Lord - Lyrics - YouTube This morning in prayer I got two verses/declarations for people who have health issues or any issue with mind/feelings oppression. 1) Health + wellbeing - I AM FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE. You were made perfect in the mind of God even before the foundation of the world. If you were born with any disability or generational sickness or health issue, deformity, it was the work of the devil because of the sins of your parents or your forefathers. It was not like that in the beginning. Everything God made was...
Satan is out there to tempt all pastors to sin against the Lord. One way of doing this is finding out the right person to have an affair with him or her. Fast and pray for your pastor. They will be tempted to do evil against God and fail their promise to their family. Till death do us part. Every day call on the Lord for your pastor to be protected by the Holy Spirit. Ask the Lord for mercy and compassion on those who are in leadership. Jesus said. Pray that you will not enter into temptation. Dear Jesus, be with our pastor, give him wisdom from heaven. Protect him and his family from all kinds of temptations. In Jesus name. Amen
We humans always need love, care, affection when we are in trouble, when we feel alone, we mostly expect from others to love. We depend on the people or the person we believe we share with them. Sometimes we find true friends, but sometimes it is where the devil attacks. Here is the story of black sheep, which wanted to betray one of the weakest sheep in the flock of white sheep. So it started observing daily, then finally spotted the weakest in the flock. The black sheep now wanted to enter into the white sheep flock for the protection of the shepherd. It colored itself in white and slowly entered the flocks. It started making friendship with the one who was weakest, who wanted emotional support and was in need of love, wanted...
Quite often when some new technology comes out, I hear Christians who are concerned about it asking if it's the mark of the beast.{"It causes all, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, that none can buy or sell unless they had the mark."}Well...to their concerns, I don't think Christians will be caught "unaware", because God wouldn't let us get "duped" into doing something that will cost us to lose our souls. Furthermore, most Christians believe the Rapture will happen BEFORE the Tribulation. And besides, the Antichrist will have a mortal wound{"And I saw one of its heads as if slain, but its mortal wound was healed. And all the Earth followed after the beast, the name of not one...
Leaving the church is leaving Jesus behind and not doing God's work on earth. Sharing the gospel in church, at work, in the street should be our primary responsibility, that is one way of serving the Lord. Most people leave the church because their love for Jesus has gone cold. a. Too much gossip around. Do not listen to gossip. Listen to God and His word. Pray for those who gossip a lot. b. Burn out. Too much of everything we have heard before. Fall in love with Jesus and His word. Satan is around everyone to make us discouraged and upset on everything the pastor does or does not do at all. c. They got hurt. Feelings are hurt and friendships are broken down due to lack of love and concern for others. d. Life change and moving...
"17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4: 17-18 NKJV The beauty of believing is knowing with all your heart that no matter what you're going through, it will pass. For this reason, we are to set our sights on things not seen rather than focus on the weight of earthly burdens. Carrying heavy loads comes with living, whether godly or ungodly. However, believers have an advantage, they have Jesus as the ultimate load bearer. He is always there, everywhere...
"When I pray, Lord please give me clarity and a Spirit of discernment. Above all, God I ask that You protect me from embracing or exhibiting "Pharisee" characteristics and behavior." The Pharisees in the Bible were members of a religious group or party who frequently clashed with Jesus Christ over his interpretation of the Law. The name "Pharisee" means "separated one." Use oh me, Lord, in a manner that effectively ministers to your children in such a way that never leads them astray or fails to leave them better off than they were before we crossed paths. "Jesus Condemns the Pharisees and the Teachers of the Law of Moses. 23 Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 2 The Pharisees and the teachers of the Law are experts in the...
