Today I got on PrayerRequest.com for the first time in a while. I was very sad before I logged on. I prayed to God to help me not think so much about myself. You see, I had a spirit of sadness or sorrow on me. There was no particular reason for me to be sad or upset. I know God will work out those things I prayed to Him about. That spirits of sadness, sorrow, guilt and depression are familiar spirits. They have attempted to reign in my life for years. I know that , "NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME WILL PROSPER!" I know I must submit to God and walk in God's Holy Spirit in order for Satan to flee from me. So I told Jesus that I would purpose to pray for others on this forum! I began to pray! Pray! Pray! When I feel so alone in this world, no one cares and no one comes and visits. Then, I call on the Lord who is worthy of all praise. Angels from heaven comes along and stays with me. In my darkest hour I seek the Lord and He is right there with me. So. let us all cultivate an intimacy with God. He is the center of all joy. The deepest level of worship is praying, praising and loving the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul. Thank God during a hardest trial you may be facing. Several years ago, I found a piece of jewelry with the inscription, “TRUE LOVE WAITS.” At the time I couldn’t help but wonder about its’ backstory.
