If Jesus is center of your marriage, then it will last long enough to see the Lord Himself. Strong marriage requires two people given themselves to Gods service. They will become a wonderful role models of holiness and love to their children. They were chosen by God to show the future generations that Jesus loves them and He is coming back to earth to take us all home to heaven. The wedding is the planting but marriage is the season of blessings upon blessings when Jesus is exalted above all things.
Psalm 126 : 5, 6 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Although these verses are meant for sowing God's words, it equally applies for those who sowed in tears their precious life in Christ. They shall doubtless come again one day with rejoicing, bringing sheaves (blessings) that God has kept for them. Yes, we are going to reap all that was lost. God' s words are unchanging. Our Lord, you are true to your promises, and your word is like silver heated seven times in a fiery furnace Psalm 12.6 CEV God's words are tested and pure. Psalm 18 : 30, proverb 30 : 5
I see how most people I know have self destructive tendencies, and actually PRAISE the thing that harms them, and find the thing that can help them restrictive. Examples--{especially on my mothers side, including my mother},}a leaning towards overeating, and the wrong foods at that!!Like when they talk on the phone or even in person, talking about, how eating foods high in cholesterol, calories, etc,is so wonderful, and "knocking" the nutritious foods. And they talk about how they "can't wait" to shovel down the unhealthy foods. In others, the "craving", their "savior" in hard times is cigarettes. In a tense situation, out comes the cigarette.Even coffee is not the best thing for you, caffeine makes you jittery, and even gives palpitations.But...
The eternal promise of Jesus is this. I am going to prepare a place for you. That where I am there you may be also. But who will enter heaven? Who will receive a Crown of Life? A. Those who love the Lord with all their heart, mind and soul. B. Those who read His word daily and obey what it says. C. Those who obey Jesus command. Go ye therefor and teach all those things I have commanded you. Lo, I am with you always. D. Those who bring lost souls to the feet of Jesus. Your nextdoor neighbors, all your tenants and those who left the church for any reason. E. Those who fast and pray daily for their salvation. F. Those who keep Gods word in their heart. Nothing we have brought into this world and nothing we shall be able to take...
When you go through Storms in your life, or when a loved one is going through Storms, if you are not keeping your focus on the Lord, you will not see His goodness. The Lord never said that you will have things easy in life when you became a Christian, He said he will be there for you, He will direct your paths, He will not forsake you, sometimes we are so focused on our circumstances that we forget the goodness of God. We forget How he has taken us out of so many trials and tribulations, Sometimes we go through some horrible unbelievable things, and we think we cannot make it through, but you can if you remember who Your Father is, If You remember you are a child of the King, and that He has good plan for your life, one to prosper you...
God sent us here to earth for a reason. He has a plan for each one of us. He has chosen all of us from the begining of the earth to His own. To be his missionaries on earth. First. Be a wonderful missionary to your own children. Teaching them Gods word. Taking them to church faithfully. Make sure they love Jesus with all their heart mind and soul. Second. Pray for your children or step children. God has given to you to be a blessings, to feed them Gods word. Third. Love your children like Jesus loved all the children He saw around Him. He cared for them and wanted all of them in heaven. Fouth. A faithful missionary are those who take Gods word seriously and share with others. Obeying the command. Go ye therefore...
A lot of Christians think if we're anything less than deliriously happy every minute of every day of our lives it's a sin. But does God really see it that way,and does the Bible really state that?.For example, if a Christian goes to the funeral of an unsaved loved one,{and knowing that the person will be in the Lake of Fire for ever--while others are mourning, is the Christian supposed to start running up and down the aisles shaking a tambourine and celebrating, to prove their "happiness" that their loved one is in hell? You see what I mean, in some cases, certain emotions are out of context with the situation. If we go to minister to a nation with a famine, if a kid expresses discomfort that he's starving, are we supposed to scold him...
