```markdown Bible in a Year : Exodus 27–28, Matthew 21:1–22 In humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. - Philippians 2:3–4 Humility is difficult, and can be inconvenient. As I queued to enter the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, I thought how fitting it was to see our fellow clergy and their followers crouching low to enter. Later I learnt that this entrance is called the “door of humility”, and at 1.2 meters high, it reminds pilgrims that Jesus emptied himself as he took on the form of a human being. I hoped that these church leaders, when they returned home to ###, would continue in this humble posture while following their Saviour. Writing from...
When the road we are riding on becomes bleak, shadows masking over the woods there comes a promise from heaven. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Grace from our wonderful Maker comes to all of us to give us inspiration and hope of seeing Him in glory where all angels, all the elders and prophets and saints of God continue to sing praises to Jesus. I will bless the lord and give Him glory, wherever He sends me, I shall start here on earth and when Jesus calls me home to heaven I will continue to sing praises to His name. Amen
The soul that walks where the wind of the Spirit of the living God is, turns like a wandering weather vane toward an eternal love for God and for others. Just as Jesus said to all of us. I have loved you with an everlasting love. I care for you. That is one reason all the angels cry holy to the Lamb who sits upon the throne of God. Sacrifice of mercy and love for human beings was the goal of a heavenly redemption. Before He left us and going up to heaven Jesus promised a Comforter who shall be with us forever. I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you. John 14:18 This is one reason that we should constantly sing.... I will bless the Lord and give Him glory. The Lord is gracious and merciful. Great in kindness and...
Finding a holy ground in our daily life, at home, on the road, in the street or at work it is so important for our spiritual life to grow up that reaches heaven. These should be much easier these days when the weather is too cold, too much snow and hard to get the car starting right away. God's holy presence and help continue to be with us no matter what we do or where we go. Find out where true joy it is found, where this resides, give it a voice far beyond the wind that comes to all of us, letting us know that Jesus is in the middle of any wind that hits our face. Jesus is the center of all joy. So, let us all keep our eyes on the Lord, this is faith race and we should continue running along the path Jesus went first. Watch the...
Do Not Judge
This Teaching Clip made me think. Please Listen To Short Podcast: Matthew 7:1-2 Do Not Judge “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. The Measure of Grace At first glance, it’s easy to misinterpret Matthew 7:1 as a pass to disregard accountability for sinful actions, a license to turn a blind eye to wrongdoing. But when we take a closer look, Jesus' words in this parable aren't an endorsement of moral indifference. The Greek word "κρίνετε" (krinete), translated as "judge," means “to form a condemning opinion about someone without knowledge.” Jesus isn't advocating against fair and righteous judgment (John 7:24). We know...
God says to all of us the redeemed of the Lord. Love one another as I have loved you. It is never easy to deal with divorce or separation; it is not God's will for us to divorce or separate from the person we promised love till death do us part. Letting go of your partner with whom you have shared several unforgettable moments in life is hard. It is more damaging the realities of children who see the fighting and the yelling and screaming at home. So, depression sets in, self-esteem is gone, increase of insecurity and loss is alive in the lives of those who divorce their partner. Jesus did not want anyone to divorce; instead, He wanted all of us to be happy and enjoy life together. Raising a family is a wonderful gift given to us by...
As we see those things happening in the world today, it is a sign of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth to take us all home to heaven. Turmoils of all kinds shall come to our door and hurricanes, floods, extreme heat that will dry out lakes and rivers. O Lord, You alone are the hope of this world and we must draw close to Him and start to call on Him to save us and deliver us from any disaster that will come to earth. Hope is the one thing we must appreciate in our life, it can help us through the darkness of times. Love to sing this wonderful song every time I am worried about anything that is coming on our path. My hope is built on nothing less. Than Jesus Christ my righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame. But...
