Prayer Changes Things!
Prayer Changes Things! Through Your Prayer Life, God Can Turn Your Problems Into opportunities! Through Your Prayer Life, God Will Give You Peace and Encourage You! In the day when I cried, You answered me, and You encouraged me by giving me strength in my soul (Psalm 138:3). And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28 KJV).
No One Ever Asked Him! https://www.vancehardisty.com/blog/no-one-ever-asked-him?cid=bbcfd7e8-1095-468d-a16e-1cda7430d65d He had attended a Christian college, had a Christian roommate, talked to pastors, but in all that time, no one had ever asked him if he wanted to become a follower of Christ. When I asked him if he wanted to give his life to Christ and become a follower he said, "Yes"! When I asked him why he hadn't done so already, he said, "because I don't know how". So I shared the truth of Jesus with him and then we prayed together. Don't miss God-given opportunities, when all it takes is a few simple questions. Blessings, Dr. Vance
The Holy Spirit Is Our Regenerator Meet the Holy Spirit, who can do it all. He is the Spirit of God. He has limitless power and wisdom, yet He willingly comes to live inside any person who believes in Jesus Christ. And that means we have access to His amazing power. As I pondered the work of the Holy Spirit in Scripture and in my own life, I identified seven distinct roles He plays. Jesus told Nicodemus that we are born again by the Holy Spirit. “Truly, truly, I say to you,” Jesus said in John 3:5, “unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” True conversion is the most supernatural thing we will ever experience. When a person puts his faith in Christ for salvation, it is the Spirit who opens...
Why people are having too many divorces? Why they are not obeying Gods word to love one another as He has loved us? We do not need to alter the wedding vow. We must obey Jesus voice. If you love Me.. keep my commandments. Our true vow should be. I love you today and I will love you forever. Till Jesus call us home to heaven. Even in glory I will continue to love you because Jesus wanted that way. All Christians should obey Gods will for us. To love Him and to love others just as He loved us.
Matthew 28:16-20 New International Version (NIV) The Great Commission 16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Isaiah 6:1-5 New International Version (NIV) Isaiah’s Commission 6 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” 4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. 5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord...
Please bear with me, I realize that this is a lot, and certainly many priests and people of God have voiced their opinions. Yet, if it were not for that, I most probably would not have inquired the Lord in those things which He had shown me and spoken to me. For His Word commands me to shout, from the rooftops, those things which are whispered in my ear. Still, though, or perhaps more accurately, because Matthew 10 has been absolutely true in my walk, for years, because so many of the visions which God had given me had come to pass, I had issue with Ezekiel 14:1-11; for I know in my heart that I serve no other master. BUT GOD, in His faithfulness, just as He promises to do through the Holy Spirit, led me into all TRUTH through 1...
One thing I see all the time is double standards.Like the attitude,"It's alright for me,but not for you."I've been on the heavy end of this.Like, today I was waiting while my dropoff was in the bank, which is usually a 5 or 10 minute deal. So one lady started griping at me because she had to walk an extra 2 feet.{I wasn't right in front of the door.}BUT as I've seen so many times, these people do that{all the time}, and for longer periods of time than that--but of course when "they" do it, then it's fine, and they would argue with YOU for questioning THEM doing it. I also dealt with one lady who consistently took advantage of the time, even stating that the other customer can wait,no problem. But the same lady, one time I dropped off...
In dealing with a lot of people, one thing I notice that comes out is selfishness. Like, when I explain to someone that something is bad for you at a certain time, and causes inconvenience if not outright problems, they may "yes me", but then if I compromise and help them, they go on to "milk the time" for as much as they can.{Instead of appreciating that I compromised with them, they take advantage.} I figured out that this is a type of selfishness, because what they're really saying is, I want what I want{emphasis on the word "I"}and who cares about you?{they also lie somewhat, because they "promise" if I give in , they'll "cooperate "with the time, then "fudge it."Other forms of selfishness I see is someone pushing for themselves at...
