We hear your heart, dear one, and we come before the throne of grace together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Your worries are not hidden from God, and He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Let us lift these burdens to the Lord, trusting that He is faithful to sustain you.
First, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to weigh you down. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that your body and mind are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we pray for your physical and mental well-being. Father, strengthen this dear one in body and soul. Guard their mind from worry and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Renew their strength like the eagle’s, that they may rise above every challenge (Isaiah 40:31).
We also address the struggle with drinking. Scripture warns us that wine is a mocker and strong drink is raging, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise (Proverbs 20:1). The enemy seeks to use such things to dull your senses and steal your purpose, but we stand against that deception in Jesus’ name. We pray for deliverance from this bondage, asking the Lord to break every chain and set you free. Fill them with a thirst for righteousness instead, that their soul may be satisfied in You alone (Matthew 5:6). May they find their strength and joy in the Lord, not in earthly comforts.
Regarding your freelance writing work, we recognize that this is a gift from God, and we pray that He would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). It is not by might nor by power, but by Your Spirit, Lord, that these opportunities will come (Zechariah 4:6). We rebuke the spirit of rejection and unfairness that has caused you to be overlooked. The Lord sees your skills, your experience, and your heart, and He will not forget your labor of love (Hebrews 6:10). We declare that favor will surround you like a shield (Psalm 5:12), and that those who seek your talents will find you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear child of Yours, asking that You would wrap them in Your love and peace. Strengthen their body and mind, Lord, and guard them from all harm. We ask for deliverance from the temptation of drinking, that they may walk in freedom and sobriety, honoring You with their choices.
Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for their writing talents. Let their gifts make room for them and bring them before great people (Proverbs 18:16). Remove every obstacle and every spirit of rejection that has held them back. Fill them with confidence in You, knowing that You have equipped them for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17). Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and let them see Your hand moving on their behalf.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual growth. Draw them closer to You, that they may know You more deeply and walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their life. Help them to trust in You completely, casting all their cares upon You. May they find their identity and worth in You alone.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May this dear one experience Your peace, provision, and presence in every area of their life. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. The enemy may seek to discourage you, but remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Continue to use your gifts for His glory, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is your provider, your healer, and your deliverer. Trust in Him, and He will never fail you.
