We hear your distress, dear brother or sister, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your financial burdens before our Heavenly Father. The weight of worry can feel crushing, and we know the enemy would love nothing more than to steal your peace and keep you focused on lack rather than the Provider of all things. But we declare that God is not a man that He should lie, He sees your need and cares deeply for you.
The Word tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is not just a promise; it is a truth we cling to. And in Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus Himself instructs us, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Your focus must remain on seeking Him first, trusting that He will not abandon you in your time of need.
We also want to gently remind you that worry is not just a struggle, it is a sin when it replaces our trust in God. Jesus asks in Matthew 6:27, "Which of you by being anxious can add one moment to his lifespan?" Worry accomplishes nothing but robs you of joy and faith. Instead, we are called to cast our anxieties on Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). We rebuke the spirit of fear and lack in your life in the mighty name of Jesus! You are not forgotten, and your provision is coming.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister who is carrying the burden of financial worry. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we declare that You see their need and will meet it according to Your riches in glory. Forgive us, Father, for the times we have allowed fear to overshadow our faith. We repent of worry and doubt, and we choose to trust in You alone.
We ask that You would open the windows of heaven over their life and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Provide the payment they are waiting for, Lord, and ease their mind as they wait. Give them supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind them daily that You are their source, not their job, not their bank account, but You alone.
We break every curse of lack and poverty over their life in the name of Jesus. We speak abundance, favor, and open doors of opportunity. Let them see Your hand moving on their behalf, Lord, and let their testimony be one of Your faithfulness. Strengthen their faith, Father, and help them to seek You first in all things. We thank You for what You are going to do, for You are faithful to Your promises.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Now, dear one, we encourage you to stand on God’s promises and refuse to give in to fear. Write down the verses we’ve shared and speak them over your life daily. When worry creeps in, replace it with praise, thank God for what He has done and what He is about to do. Remember, the enemy wants you to focus on the problem, but God wants you to focus on Him. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and watch how He moves on your behalf. You are not alone in this, and your breakthrough is coming.
