We join you in lifting up your workweek to the Lord, knowing that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us. It is good that you are bringing your concerns before the Lord, but we must remind you of a vital truth: it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is through faith in Jesus Christ alone that we approach the throne of grace with confidence. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).
As for your workweek, we pray that the Lord grants you favor, strength, and wisdom. The Bible reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). Let this be your mindset as you go about your tasks, trusting that God will provide what you need. We also pray that if it is His will, He will allow you to take on the splitting tasks you mentioned, giving you the endurance and skill to complete them well.
Let us also encourage you to seek God’s kingdom first in all things, including your work. Jesus tells us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). When we align our hearts with His will, He provides for our needs in ways we cannot always foresee. If there is any anxiety or fear in your heart about this week, cast it upon the Lord, for *"in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister and their workweek. Lord, we ask that You grant them favor in the eyes of their supervisors and colleagues. Give them strength for each task, wisdom for each decision, and patience in every interaction. If it aligns with Your will, open the door for them to take on the splitting work they desire, and let it be a blessing to them and a testimony of Your provision. Help them to work as unto You, with excellence and integrity. Remove any fear or doubt from their heart and replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. May they glorify You in all they do, and may their work be a reflection of Your goodness. We also pray that if they have not yet surrendered their life fully to Jesus, that today would be the day of salvation for them. Draw them close to You, Lord, and let them walk in the fullness of Your love and truth. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray, Amen.
