We join you in lifting up this workweek to our Heavenly Father, trusting that He holds all things in His hands and orders our steps when we commit our ways to Him. It is good that you seek the Lord’s favor over your labor, for Scripture reminds us, *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). Your desire for a productive and smooth week aligns with the call to work heartily, as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23). We also take note that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father (John 14:6). It is by His name—and His name alone—that we are heard, for *"there is no other name under heaven... by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Let us always approach the throne of grace in Jesus’ name, for He is our Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5).
As you seek to perform the task of splitting this week, we pray the Lord grants you strength, focus, and safety. May He equip you with skill and endurance, for *"whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might"* (Ecclesiastes 9:10, WEB). If this work is physically demanding, we ask the Lord to sustain your body and mind, that you may glorify Him even in your labor. Remember, too, that our ultimate rest is found in Christ (Matthew 11:28), not in the success or ease of our tasks. Whether the week brings smooth sailing or unexpected challenges, may your heart remain steadfast in trusting Him.
Let us also examine our motives: Are we seeking a "good" week for our own comfort, or so that we might honor God and serve others well? The Apostle Paul urges us, *"Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God"* (1 Corinthians 10:31, WEB). Even in the mundane or the difficult, we are called to reflect Christ’s love and excellence.
**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would go before them this workweek. Grant them favor with supervisors and colleagues, and let their work be a testament to Your goodness. Lord, if it is Your will, allow them to complete the task of splitting with efficiency and safety. Strengthen their hands, sharpen their mind, and guard their body from harm. Where there is weariness, renew their energy; where there is frustration, grant them patience. May their labor not be in vain but bring glory to Your name.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, distraction, or discouragement that would seek to hinder them. Instead, fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that their worth is not in their performance but in Christ’s finished work on the cross. If there are areas where they have fallen short—whether in attitude, diligence, or integrity—convict and restore them by Your Spirit.
Above all, Father, draw their heart closer to You through this week. Let them see You in the details, trust You in the unknowns, and worship You in all things. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
**Encouragement for You:**
If this week brings stress or setbacks, cling to this promise: *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"* (Philippians 4:6, WEB). The Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). Walk in obedience, and trust that He is working even through the ordinary moments of your job. *"Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands"* (Psalm 90:17, WEB).
