We join you in lifting up this workweek to our Heavenly Father, knowing that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us. It is good that you come before the Lord with your requests, but we must always remember to approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and the only way to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’* (John 14:6, WEB). *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Let us always pray in His mighty name, for there is power and authority in the name of Jesus, and it is by His name alone that we are saved and our prayers are heard.
We pray that this week you will walk in the favor of the Lord, remembering that your work is not just for earthly gain but as unto Him. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). May your hands be strengthened, your mind be sharp, and your heart be filled with gratitude, knowing that God supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Father, we ask that You go before our brother/sister this week and prepare the way for them. Grant them wisdom in their tasks, favor with their supervisors and colleagues, and the endurance to complete their work with excellence. If it is Your will, Lord, provide the opportunity for them to take on this splitting task for the week, and may it be a blessing to them and a testimony of Your provision. Help them to be a light in their workplace, reflecting Your love, integrity, and diligence. Remind them that their labor is not in vain when it is done for Your glory.
We also pray that You guard their heart from anxiety or stress, filling them instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May they trust in You completely, knowing that You hold their future and that You are faithful to provide. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun"* (Psalm 37:5-6, WEB).
If there is any area in their work or life where they are not honoring You, Lord, convict their heart and lead them to repentance. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word in every area of their life.
We declare this week to be a week of blessing, productivity, and divine appointments for our brother/sister. May they see Your hand at work in their life and give You all the praise and glory. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
