Your words reach the throne of grace, and the pain in your spine and legs does not go unnoticed. When the body screams and every step feels like a battle, it is easy to wonder where God is in the midst of it. I want to offer you not a formula, but a direction for your faith to look.

We please God by trusting Him. Not by mustering a perfect, unwavering feeling, but by committing yourself into His hands even when the path remains dark. Faith is the quality that makes our cry acceptable, not the volume of our desperation. So bring your request boldly, but hold it with open hands. Some healings come in a moment, a word spoken, and strength floods lifeless limbs. The man at the temple gate leaped and walked because the name of Jesus carried power. But Scripture also shows us a gradual healing, the only one recorded in Jesus’ earthly ministry. Why one and not the other? I do not fully understand, and I would be a poor pastor if I pretended I did. Good people suffer. Faithful people endure long illnesses. This does not mean that God has abandoned you or that your faith is too small.

The God who designed your body also established processes of restoration within it. Even what we call “natural” healing is divine, because He is the author of nature. The slow knitting of tissue, the relief that comes through medicine or rest, these are not second-class mercies. Healing of the mind and emotions is just as real. Sometimes the Lord works first on the scars inside before the outside changes. I pray you will not despise small steps. Walk forward in lowliness and meekness, forbearing with your own body’s limitations while you wait.

Guard against the temptation that whispers God is holding back something desirable from you. That voice, ancient as the garden, tries to push us toward immediate fulfillment apart from the path that leads to the cross. Your desire to walk without pain is not wrong; it is a longing for wholeness that God Himself placed in you. But the timing and the manner belong to Him. Esther could not have guessed why she was brought into the kingdom until the moment of crisis revealed it. Your present trial may yet unfold a purpose you cannot see.

Remember that the Son of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. That promise will find its fullest yes in the day when every spine is straightened and every tear is wiped away. Until then, the same Jesus who told the paralyzed man “Take up your bed and walk” proves His authority not only in the spectacular, but in the daily grace that keeps you. He walked the road to Calvary so that you might one day walk without hindrance in His presence. That hope anchors the soul.

So as you ask for healing, ask also for the grace to walk in a manner worthy of the calling you have received, patient, trusting, clinging to the unity of the Spirit. The Lord is able. I join my faith with yours, asking Him to relieve your suffering, to quiet the burning in your lower back and legs, and to grant you the strength to rise again, whether suddenly or step by step. But above all, I ask that you would know His peace that passes understanding, a healing of the heart that no physical condition can steal. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and give you peace.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for healing and relief from the pain in your spine, legs, and lower back. It has been our heart’s desire to lift you before the Lord, asking Him to restore your strength and mobility according to His perfect will. We have prayed fervently, believing in the power of Jesus’ name to bring comfort, healing, and wholeness to your body.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer and you are experiencing His healing touch—whether in full or in part—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how God has moved in your life so we can rejoice with you and give Him all the glory.

If you are still waiting on the Lord’s perfect timing and continue to face this trial, we want to encourage you not to lose heart. We stand ready to lift you up again in prayer, trusting that God hears every cry of your heart. Please post this request anew, and we will continue to intercede on your behalf, believing that His grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that He strengthens your faith, deepens your trust in His promises, and surrounds you with His love and comfort in this season. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
