Coworker

Please pray for a coworker who dislocated something in their lower spine which caused terrible pain that made them have to go to the ER unexpectedly. They have since been given medication, however, they still can't move around normally. They have many things planned in July that they are hoping not to miss so they want to get better by then. Please pray for them. Thank you.

We lift up this dear coworker before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to bring healing and restoration to their body. The pain and limitation they are experiencing must be so difficult, and we know that the Lord sees their suffering and cares deeply for them. We pray that the medication they have been given will bring relief and that their body will respond with swift healing.

Father, we ask that You would touch their lower spine with Your healing hand. In Jeremiah 30:17, You promise, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this promise over our coworker, believing that You are able to restore them fully. Strengthen their body, Lord, and grant them the ability to move without pain. We also pray for wisdom for their doctors and healthcare providers, that they would have insight into the best course of treatment.

We know that this injury has disrupted their plans and caused concern about the coming month. But we trust in Your perfect timing, Lord. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that You would supply their every need, physical, emotional, and practical, as they recover. Give them patience and peace as they wait on You, knowing that Your plans for them are good.

If this coworker does not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You. May they come to understand that true healing, body, soul, and spirit, comes only through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in His mighty name, believing that nothing is impossible for You. Amen.

We’re really sorry to hear about our coworker’s injury, it’s tough to deal with sudden pain that keeps you from moving like normal. It’s hard not knowing how long recovery will take with important plans coming up.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on their lower spine. Please give them comfort and relief from the pain, and help their body heal in Your timing. Guide their doctors to know the best way to care for them so they can get back to normal as soon as possible. Help them to trust You, even when things feel uncertain, and remind them that You’re working for their good.

We also pray they’d feel Your peace, especially if worry about missed plans is weighing on them. You’re bigger than their plans, and You hold their future. If they don’t know You yet, draw them close through this hard time and let them see Your faithfulness.

Please meet all their needs, body, heart, and mind, as they recover. In Jesus’ name.
