I play for a long time but God did not need me; he abandoned me; he hates me; he makes me cry every day; he takes me to the losing side; he doesn't need me to gain when I deserve to earn; he removes me there at the right time and takes me back after the earnings time ends. I hate that situation always; I remain as a loser but not a gainer.

Oh, beloved, our hearts ache deeply as we read your words, for they reveal a soul in profound pain and a spirit crushed under the weight of despair. But we must lovingly yet firmly correct the foundation of your cry—**God does *not* hate you.** In fact, the very opposite is true: *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16, WEB). If God hated you, He would not have sent Jesus to die for your sins. He would not have pursued you with relentless love, nor would He allow you to even *seek* Him, for the Scriptures declare, *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him"* (John 6:44, WEB). The fact that you are crying out to Him now is proof that He is drawing you—He is *near*, even in your pain.

Your words reveal a heart that feels abandoned, betrayed, and cheated by life’s circumstances. You speak of "playing for a long time" and feeling like God removes you from opportunities to gain, leaving you on the "losing side." We understand this frustration, but we must ask: **What are you truly seeking?** Are you chasing after the temporal gains of this world—wealth, success, or validation—or are you seeking the eternal treasure of knowing Christ? Jesus warns us, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal"* (Matthew 6:19-20, WEB). If your focus is on earthly gain, no amount of it will ever satisfy the deep longing in your soul. Only Jesus can.

You say God "doesn’t need you," and in one sense, that is true—**He does not *need* any of us**, for He is entirely self-sufficient. But oh, how He *wants* you! He *chooses* you! The Psalmist declares, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Your pain is not unseen by Him. Your tears are collected in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). He does not delight in your suffering, but He *does* allow trials to refine you, to draw you closer to Him, and to strip away the idols that compete for your worship. Could it be that in your pursuit of "gains," you have made an idol of success, comfort, or control? If so, God in His mercy may be breaking that idol to turn your heart back to Him.

We must also address the bitterness in your words: *"I hate that situation always."* Bitterness is a poison that destroys the soul. The apostle Paul warns, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice"* (Ephesians 4:31, WEB). If you harbor hatred toward your circumstances—or even toward God—it will only deepen your pain. Instead, surrender your anger to Him. Cry out as the psalmists did: *"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?"* (Psalm 22:1, WEB). God can handle your raw honesty, but He will not leave you in despair. He will meet you there.

Lastly, we notice you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your cry. This is not a small matter, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, turn from them, and believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation. Without Jesus, there is no hope—only eternal separation from God. But in Him, there is *"peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ"* (Romans 5:1, WEB), even in the midst of suffering.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, broken and bleeding from the wounds of disappointment, bitterness, and despair. Lord, they feel abandoned, unloved, and forgotten—but we declare over them the truth of Your Word: **You have not forgotten them. You have not abandoned them. You love them with an everlasting love.** Father, break the lies of the enemy that whisper "God hates you." Replace those lies with the truth of Your sacrifice on the cross, where Jesus bore *their* sins, *their* pain, and *their* shame so they could be called Your child.

Lord, we ask that You reveal to them the idols they may be clinging to—whether it is success, control, or the approval of man. Strip away everything that hinders them from running to You. Soften their heart, which has grown hard with bitterness, and replace their hatred of their circumstances with a supernatural peace that only You can give. Remind them that Your ways are higher than theirs, and Your timing is perfect, even when it feels delayed.

If they have not yet surrendered to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior. Let them turn from their sins and place their trust in Christ alone. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is their Comforter, their Counselor, and their Guide.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that has gripped them. We speak life, joy, and purpose over them in the name of Jesus. Remind them that their worth is not found in earthly gains but in being Your beloved child. Restore to them the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12). Let them taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8), even in the valley.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

---
Beloved, we urge you to meditate on these truths:
- *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). His timing is perfect.
- *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). He has a plan for you.
- *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). Jesus is your rest.

If you are in Christ, you are *never* on the losing side, for *"in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us"* (Romans 8:37, WEB). Even in suffering, even in lack, even in waiting—**you are His, and He is yours.** Cling to that truth today.

We're here with you, dear friend. We've felt the weight of despair, the sting of abandonment, and the frustration of feeling like we're on the losing side. But we want you to know, we've also found hope and comfort in Jesus.

It's true that God doesn't need us, but oh, how He wants us! He chose us, loves us, and is always near, even in our pain. He sees your tears, hears your cries, and He's not punishing you. He's refining you, drawing you closer to Him. He's not taking you out of opportunities to gain, but He's teaching you to seek the right treasures - the eternal ones found in knowing Him.

We understand the bitterness you feel, but we encourage you to let it go. Bitterness only deepens pain. Instead, surrender your anger to Him. Cry out to Him, as the psalmists did. He can handle your raw honesty, and He won't leave you in despair.

And friend, if you haven't yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. There's no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Only through Jesus can we have access to the Father. Only in Him can we find peace, even in the midst of suffering.

Let's pray together:
