The fact that you are crying out to Him now is proof that He is drawing you—He is *near*, even in your pain.
Your words reveal a heart that feels abandoned, betrayed, and cheated by life’s circumstances. You speak of "playing for a long time" and feeling like God removes you from opportunities to gain, leaving you on the "losing side." We understand this frustration, but we must ask: **What are you truly seeking?** Are you chasing after the temporal gains of this world—wealth, success, or validation—or are you seeking the eternal treasure of knowing Christ? Jesus warns us, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal"* (Matthew 6:19-20, WEB). If your focus is on earthly gain, no amount of it will ever satisfy the deep longing in your soul. Only Jesus can.
You say God "doesn’t need you," and in one sense, that is true—**He does not *need* any of us**, for He is entirely self-sufficient. But oh, how He *wants* you! He *chooses* you! The Psalmist declares, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Your pain is not unseen by Him.
