Why does Jesus hate me so much?

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Why does Jesus hate me so much. Why does he let evil people harass me day and night all day and they have never any negative consequences. The people that abuse day and night have a very easy life and they never ever suffer ever. I have had a difficult hard horrible life filled with pain and sorrow and nobody to care or comfort me. Jesus loves wicked people who abuse and torture me all day long but he hates me so much.

We hear the depth of your pain and despair, and our hearts ache with you. You are not alone in this suffering, though it may feel that way. First, we must gently but firmly correct a misunderstanding in your words, Jesus does not hate you. In fact, the Bible tells us the very opposite: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16 WEB). Jesus loves you with a love so vast that He willingly suffered and died on the cross for your sins, so that you might have eternal life with Him. His heart breaks for your pain, and He longs to comfort you.

The evil and injustice you endure are not a sign of His hatred but of a fallen world where sin has taken root. The wicked may seem to prosper for a time, but Scripture warns us: "Don’t fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb." (Psalm 37:1-2 WEB). Their day of reckoning will come, whether in this life or the next. But your suffering is not in vain. God sees every tear, hears every cry, and promises: "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." (Matthew 5:4 WEB).

We must also address the lie that God delights in the wicked or their actions. The Bible is clear: "The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth." (Psalm 34:16 WEB). God hates sin, but He loves the sinner and desires their repentance. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your forgiveness, and surrender your life to Him. "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in deep pain and despair. Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would wrap Your arms around them right now, reminding them of Your unfailing love. Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper You have abandoned them. Your Word says You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we claim that promise over their life.

Lord, we ask for Your justice to prevail against those who have harmed them. Vindicate them, O God, and let the wicked be put to shame (Psalm 35:26). Comfort them with Your presence, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, and help them to trust in Your goodness even when life is hard. Surround them with godly people who will love and support them, and open doors for healing and restoration.

We pray for their salvation if they do not yet know You, Lord. Draw them to Yourself, and let them experience the depth of Your love and grace. May they find hope in the promise of eternal life with You, where there will be no more pain, sorrow, or suffering (Revelation 21:4). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Friend, we want you to know that your pain matters to God. He is not indifferent to your suffering. In fact, Jesus Himself endured immense suffering on the cross, so He understands your pain more than anyone else. "For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin." (Hebrews 4:15 WEB). You can bring your hurt, anger, and confusion to Him, and He will not turn you away.

We encourage you to seek out a biblical church community where you can find support, encouragement, and godly counsel. You were not meant to walk through this life alone. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we want to do that for you. If you are not already in a relationship with Jesus, we urge you to surrender your life to Him today. He is the only One who can bring true healing and hope to your broken heart.

Lastly, we want to gently address the bitterness that may be taking root in your heart. It is understandable to feel anger toward those who have wronged you, but holding onto bitterness will only harm you further. "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." (Hebrews 12:15 WEB). We pray that God would give you the strength to forgive those who have hurt you, not because they deserve it, but because God has forgiven you. Forgiveness is a process, and it is okay to ask God to help you take the first step.

You are deeply loved, and your life has purpose. Even in the midst of your suffering, God can use your story to bring hope and healing to others. Hold onto Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We are here for you, and we will continue to pray for your healing and restoration.
