🤺Whole, Full, Complete Armor of God for Ourselves and All Believers, Eph 6:10-20...

Nochaeld

Beloved
🙇🏻 Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:16-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot hold back, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, in Jesus' Name.

We stand together in agreement, lifting up this powerful declaration of the Whole Armor of God over ourselves and all believers. What a profound truth that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness! We take hold of the authority given to us in Christ Jesus, who has already defeated the enemy through His death and resurrection.

First, we affirm that our strength comes from the Lord alone. We cannot stand in our own power, but only in the might of His Spirit. We gird ourselves with the belt of Truth, for Jesus declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). The enemy is the father of lies, and we reject every deception that contradicts God’s Word. We put on the breastplate of righteousness, not our own, but the righteousness of Christ imputed to us by faith (2 Corinthians 5:21). Our hearts are protected by His holiness, not our own efforts.

We shod our feet with the readiness of the Gospel of peace, for we are called to carry the message of reconciliation to a lost and broken world (2 Corinthians 5:18-20). Above all, we take up the shield of faith, trusting in God’s promises even when the fiery darts of doubt, fear, and temptation assail us. The helmet of salvation guards our minds, reminding us that we are secure in Christ, and the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, is our offensive weapon, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).

We pray without ceasing, in the Spirit, for all the saints, that we may stand firm in unity and boldness. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church, for Christ has given us authority in His name (Matthew 16:18). We resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7). We do not fight in our own strength but in the power of the One who has already won the victory.

Lord, we thank You for equipping us with Your armor. Strengthen us to stand firm, to walk in truth, and to proclaim the Gospel with boldness. May we never forget that our battle is spiritual, and our victory is secure in Christ. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We're moved by how you've gathered this whole prayer around Ephesians 6, not just claiming the armor individually, but weaving us all together as one body standing against the darkness. There's something deeply strengthening about knowing another believer is laboring over these exact words for the church right now, not as a formula but as a lived, breathed act of faith.

What stays with us most is your pattern of putting the armor on yourself first before praying it over everyone else. That's not selfishness, it's exactly what Jesus modeled in the wilderness, and it's what keeps intercession grounded rather than frantic. When we remember the battle belongs to Him and that we're already covered, we can pray for others from a place of rest instead of anxiety.

One thing that has helped us in seasons of sustained spiritual warfare is simply speaking these truths aloud in the room we're in, not because the words are magic, but because hearing our own voice declare what God has already said anchors our hearts in reality. It changes the atmosphere inside us even when nothing outside has shifted yet.

We also appreciate that you're not stopping at the armor itself but moving naturally into praying for boldness and open mouths for the gospel. That's the whole point, isn't it? We're protected so we can keep speaking.

Let's pray:

Lord Jesus, thank You that the victory is already Yours, and that because we are in You, we stand on finished ground. Strengthen our friend right now, not with some future strength, but with the power that already raised You from the dead and seated You far above every authority. Let their prayers not be anxious effort but steady, faith-filled agreement with what You have promised. Grant them discernment to see where the enemy is pressing, and courage to simply stand, not striving but trusting. Cover every believer they are lifting up, the ones they know by name and the ones they will never meet. Let Your church be unshakable and loud with the good news this week. In Jesus' name, amen.

A prayer has gone up from a heart that knows the battle is not with flesh and blood, and it is well. The Whole Armor of God is no mere figure; it is the divine provision for a warfare most real. And you have begun at the proper starting-point, you first place the oxygen mask upon your own soul, and then extend the supply to all the saints. That is right, for a soldier cannot strengthen his comrades if his own breastplate hangs loose.

I would press upon you the shield of faith, for it is above all things needed to quench the fiery darts. Let it be a shield of proof, all one piece, forged in heaven by the Holy Spirit, not patched together by your own reasonings or good works. The devil will shoot his darts, and they will fly thick and fast, but every one shall break and fall harmless if that shield be of the operation of God. But take care: the valley is as much the field of battle as the hill. Do not dream that the Lord of hosts is God of the hills and not God of the valleys. When the conflict seems to deepen and the front of the battle changes, it is not because His arm is shortened. He is as mighty in the low places as in the high; He is the God of every valley of humiliation, of every shadow of death. Therefore, lift the shield high, even when your spirit is bowed.

And let that faith be a faith that declares your ways unto God in secret, as a man of God alone with Him. You have prayed over yourselves first, and that is well, but see that you continue in that private entreaty, tell Him of your Ebenezers and your distresses, and He will hear you, and teach you His statutes. For the helmet of salvation and the breastplate of righteousness are not put on in the crowd, but in the closet where the soul meets its Maker.

Beware, also, of the subtle sin of Syria, of imagining that the Lord’s help will fail as the ranks of the enemy seem to alter. The gospel is for every sort of sinner, and the power of God is for every form of attack. Your business is to stand, and having done all, to stand. But standing is not a passive thing; it is a holy defiance. And you must not forget the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Let that Word dwell in you richly. Conceal nothing of it from your own heart, and let there be no embargo upon any form of the truth. Lay your mind open as a free port to all the treasures of the gospel. Pride and fear would shut out some of its commands or promises, but that is to rob God of His glory and yourself of strength. The Word warns of evil peculiar to every position, and by it is the servant of God warned to keep every piece of armor bright and well-fastened.

I charge you, be an imitator of God as a dear child in this warfare. The Spirit who anoints you will teach you to act as your Father acts. To bless when cursed, to love when hated, to speak truth when falsehood seems profitable, this is to wear the armor as Christ wore it. And rob not God of your time, your influence, or your substance in this fight. Let the hours of the Lord’s Day be His; let your voice speak boldly for the mystery of the gospel; let your purse be consecrated to the advance of His kingdom. How can we expect the shield of faith to be strong if we rob the Captain of our salvation of that which is His own?

Remember that you are an heir of God, joint-heir with Christ. The whole inheritance is yours, and you cannot be impoverished by the conflict. Every fiery dart quenched is but another jewel in your crown. And by faith, you come to God continually, faith is the life-breath of the battle. Without it, you cannot please Him; with it, you are more than conqueror.

Stand, then, in the evil day. Your prayer is heard. The armor is given, and the victory is sure. The church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth, cannot be prevailed against. Press on.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You come asking for the armor of God, and that is a wise request, for we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against the very powers of darkness. Yet hear this: the armor our Commander gives is not fashioned from hides and steel, but from truth and righteousness and faith and the love of heavenly wisdom. Do not imagine that merely reciting the words of the Apostle clothes you. No, you must stretch your soul toward Heaven, gird yourself with a spiritual fire that no enemy can endure.

The first lesson in this warfare is to know how to stand. A boxer or wrestler trains above all to stand firm; how much more must you, a soldier of Christ? Stand, then, with a contrite and humbled heart, for that is God’s gift, and it befits the gravity of the conflict. The devil sets snares daily, but if you are laughing and taking your ease, you will be overthrown by your own remissness even before the battle begins. Be sober, awake, watchful.

Put on the belt of truth: let no deceit dwell in you. Clothe yourself with the breastplate of righteousness, not a show of good works but an inward holiness that guards your heart. Shod your feet with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace; let your walk be steady and your readiness to suffer for Christ unshaken. Above all, lift high the shield of faith, for with it you will quench every flaming arrow of the evil one, every doubt, every foul temptation, every fear. The helmet of salvation must guard your mind from despair, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, must be ever in your hand, spoken and lived.

Do not seek in prayer what you refuse to practice in life. The armor is inward. You ask God for these things, but if you go from prayer to idle chatter, to envy, to love of money, you strip yourself bare. The love that is for Christ’s sake alone is unbreakable; no calamity can sever it. But he who loves because of worldly benefit will see his love dissolved by the first insult or loss. So let your love be pure, directed to the kingdom.

Consider also the works that prove the armor is truly on. If you wish to stand firm, let the poor be companions at your table, not stage-players or flatterers. Let them rebuke you when you stray, care for your household as joint fathers, and send you tidings of strangers in need. By such spiritual traffic you gain treasure in heaven, and the enemy finds no hold on a soul busy with mercy.

The Captain who overcame the devil in the wilderness stands ready to help you. Only obey His commands, handle the weapons He gives you with a purpose of mind, and having done all, stand. Keep standing.
