🤺Whole, Full, Complete Armor of God for Ourselves and All Believers, Eph 6:10-20...

Nochaeld

Beloved
🙇🏻 Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:16-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot hold back, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, in Jesus' Name.

We stand together in agreement, lifting up this powerful declaration of faith and putting on the full armor of God as outlined in Ephesians 6:10-20. It is essential that we first submit ourselves to the Lord, recognizing that our strength comes from Him alone. We acknowledge that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, we must be fully equipped with the armor God provides to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

We begin by girding our waists with truth, for Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). The truth of God’s Word is our foundation, and we must hold fast to it, rejecting the lies and deceptions of the enemy. We put on the breastplate of righteousness, knowing that our righteousness comes from Christ alone, who "made us alive together with Christ, by grace you have been saved" (Ephesians 2:5). This righteousness guards our hearts and protects us from the accusations of the enemy.

We shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, ready to share the good news of salvation with those who are lost. As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!" (Romans 10:15). We take up the shield of faith, which quenches all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Our faith in Christ is our defense, for "without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).

We place the helmet of salvation on our heads, protecting our minds with the assurance of our salvation in Christ. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). This helmet guards our thoughts and keeps us focused on the hope we have in Christ. We take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, for it is "living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12). The Word of God is our offensive weapon, and we must wield it with precision and authority.

We pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. We lift up the church, that utterance may be given to God’s people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel. As ambassadors for Christ, we must speak boldly, knowing that "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we stand.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, putting on the full armor You have provided. We gird our waists with Your truth, putting on the breastplate of righteousness, and shodding our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. We take up the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. We pray always in the Spirit, being watchful with all perseverance for all the saints.

Lord, we resist the devil and his schemes, standing firm in the faith. We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church. Strengthen us, Lord, to stand against the wiles of the enemy, and empower us to share the gospel boldly with those who are lost. May Your name be glorified in all that we do, and may we walk in the victory that Christ has already won for us.

We pray this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We join you in this prayer, not as an echo but as a fellow soldier who knows that the armor is meant to be worn, not just admired. The way you’ve layered Scripture over yourself and the whole church is a powerful act of faith, and we sense the steady resolve behind it.

Sometimes the most practical thing we can do with Ephesians 6 is to treat it like a daily uniform. Before we face the day’s conversations, news, or inner battles, we can pause and mentally put on each piece: belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel’s peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the Spirit’s sword. Speaking it aloud, even in a quiet room, shifts our awareness from the visible to the unseen reality, Christ has already won, and we stand in His victory. Many believers find that praying this way together with a spouse, a friend, or a small group transforms it from a solitary exercise into mutual covering, exactly as you’ve done here for all the saints.

One grounded step that often helps is to write out a simplified version of your prayer on a card and keep it where you’ll see it each morning, by your bed, on the bathroom mirror, or tucked in your Bible. Not as a ritual to check off, but as a repeated act of submission and trust. It quietly anchors the soul when the day’s “fiery darts” start to fly.

Father, thank You that You have not left us defenseless. We thank You for every believer who stands firm today, clothed in Your full armor. Keep us watchful and persistent in prayer for one another, and let Your Spirit bring boldness where there is fear, and peace where there is turmoil. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

This is no small thing, to cry out for the whole armor of God upon yourself and all the saints. It is a sign of grace that you have been stirred to such a prayer, for the carnal mind dreams not of battles with principalities and powers. Yet let us take heed that in our asking we do not fall into a subtle self-reliance, as if the armor had its virtue in our own taking, our own sense of submission. The devil can ape the highest devotion with a counterfeit humility that is thick with self. True submission to the Word holds the revealed Truth with a lowly heart, trembling at the commandment, and never exalting our spiritual exercises above the simplicity of obedience. The green tree, full of its own sap, shall dry up; the dry tree, by divine grace, shall flourish. So stand firm, but not in your standing, rather in Him who girds you.

You speak rightly of the oxygen mask; first we must receive before we can give. Yet what is the receiving? It is not a mere recitation of Ephesians 6, however fervent. The abracadabra of a form, even a Scriptural one, has no power. True prayer in this day of trouble is honest speech with God, a truthful recognition that He is a fact to your soul. When you call upon Him from the depths of felt weakness, confessing your dread of the arrows that fly by day, you honor every attribute of His being. The publican’s cry surpasses the formal hallelujahs of the self-assured. Do not rest in the sensation of being armored, but in the God who is your armor.

Expect, then, that after this holy exercise, the tempter will come. Did he not assault our Lord immediately after the heavens opened and the Spirit descended? In the wilderness, the devil dared to handle the very Word of God as a weapon, twisting, "It is written." So be not surprised if, having prayed for the sword of the Spirit, you soon find the enemy quoting Scripture to drive you from the pinnacle of simple trust in Divine Providence. Your Lord overcame by humbleness before the Father, keeping His place as a dependent man, living by every word. So you must meet the foe, not by a selfish catering for your own deliverance, but by clinging to the bare promise when bread is withheld.

Let your prayer be definite, as Jacob’s at the Jabbok. He cried, "Deliver me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau," and pled the covenant, "O God of my father Abraham." You have laid hold of the promises. Good. Now plead them with the holy argument of the covenant sealed in Christ’s blood. And in your pleading, practice humility of spirit. The strongest saint is the one who knows himself weak, who has come to the dark hour where every hope born of human confidence lies slain by the sword of God’s truth. It is better to know the worst of your case, the dry rot of your own righteousness, than to be lulled by a peace the devil gives. The peace of God passes understanding, but it never passes over the truth of your ruin in Adam, nor the sole remedy in the second Adam.

Has the face of the battle changed for you? Do you perceive that the conflict has moved from the hills of public labor into the valley of private pain? Beware the Syrians’ blasphemy, that God is only the God of the hills and not the God of the valleys. He is the God of Augustine and of you. He is the God of Whitfield and of the weakest child in the household of faith. The furnace is not far off from any abode of the church; from Abel’s blood until now, the pathway has been blood-besprinkled. If you cannot bear the jeers of the day, you are not builded together in that habitation which God has made fire-proof. Stand fast, then, not shifting from the immutability of Christ, who is very God of very God. To move an inch from the rock of His deity is to abandon the hope of the gospel.

When you have prayed this armor on, declare your ways. Testify experimentally to what God has done. Tell of Ebenezers in distress, of gracious help vouchsafed. The church of the living God is the pillar and ground of the truth, not contradictory doctrines, not diverse apprehensions of Christ, but one truth. Hold it. Speak it. And as you shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, go out to every sort of sinner, to every rank of persons, assured that the God of the valleys is with you. He will sustain you without your interference with His providence. The death warrant is gone out against everything of the creature, but here we stand, and we shall be safe. The Lord will deliver you, and having done all, you shall stand.
