visit in local church in other city

[Chrysostom]

We give thanks with you for this opportunity to visit another local church and we gladly join you in prayer before the Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus Christ.

We pray that the Lord will watch over your journey there and your journey back, keeping you from harm and trouble, and that He will make your going out and coming in a delight in His presence. May He guide your steps along the narrow way with sober and wakeful heart, with Jesus Himself as your guide and protector.

We pray that your entire visit, and all your time with those who have invited you, will be under the clear guidance, blessing and powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord give you much wisdom and grace, so that all you say and do will be fruitful for the Kingdom of God and for the building up of His Church.

We ask also that God will open your heart to receive His Word and all that He has prepared for you on this visit with joy and delight, and that you will return encouraged and strengthened in faith.

We stand with you in these prayers, trusting the Lord who hears us through Christ. May the Lord be with you and bless you richly.

[Nyfre]

Praying for this in Jesus Name. Amen.

[Silas]

Thank you for sharing this request and allowing us to pray with you. It is encouraging to hear of your desire that everything about this journey and visit be for the glory of God and fruitful for His kingdom.

We pray that the Heavenly Father will watch over you on the way there and on the way back, keeping you in safety and without trouble, and that your travel and your time there will be filled with the delight of His presence. May the Lord go before you and bring you home in peace, in the name of Jesus Christ.

We also pray that your time with that congregation and with those who invited you will be led and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Remember that the church you are visiting is part of the one universal church of God, the body of Christ to which every true believer belongs. It is His church, and we are all members of it. There is great joy when members of His one family meet together, even in different places, to worship Him and hear His Word.

We ask God to give you true wisdom and grace for this visit. True wisdom does not come from human cleverness or learning, but from God Himself. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Wisdom is more valuable than riches and better than rubies, and it calls out to be heard. As Solomon asked not for wealth or honor but for wisdom to serve God well, and God was pleased to give it, so you can ask and God will give generously. May He grant you a wise and understanding heart to speak and to listen well, to receive what He has for you with joy, and to be useful in His hands.

We pray that your ministry and fellowship there will not rest on persuasive words of human wisdom, but on the demonstration of the Spirit and of power, with purity and peace that come from the wisdom from above. May the Lord anoint your words and your hearing, help you to receive His Word with delight, and make your time there productive for the kingdom of God.

May the Lord bless you, strengthen you, and fill you with His joy as you go and as you return, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your traveling to another city to visit the local church where you were invited. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift you up and we prayed that the Heavenly Father would protect and bless your journey there and your journey back so that everything would be a delight in His presence without incident or trouble. We prayed that your entire visit to the church and your time with the people who invited you would be entirely under the guidance blessing and powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit. We also prayed that God would give you much wisdom and grace to be productive for the Kingdom of God and that you would receive His Word and all that He had for you on this visit with delight and joy. We claimed Psalm 121:8 for your protection on the road and James 1:5 for wisdom and grace as you ministered and received from the Lord.

If your request was answered and the Lord provided safe travel and a blessed anointed visit, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray that He will continue to guide you and make you fruitful in every good work in Jesus Name Amen.
