Thank you for sharing this request and for your desire that all be done for the glory of God. We join with you in prayer before the Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus Christ.
We pray that the Lord will watch over your journey to that city and your journey back, keeping you from all trouble and incident, and granting you safety and peace. May your going out and your coming in be in His presence and for His delight.
We pray that your entire visit in that local church and your time with those who invited you will be under the guidance and blessing of the Holy Spirit. As the Scriptures teach, the grace of the Spirit is given through faith in Christ and it is kept alive by watchfulness and diligence, so we ask that God will stir up His gift in you and fill you with confidence, joy and strength for every good work.
We pray that God will grant you much wisdom and grace, that you may be fruitful for the Kingdom of God and speak and serve as the Spirit enables. May your words and actions build up the church and bear witness to Christ.
We pray also that you will receive with delight and joy all that the Lord has for you there, His Word and His encouragement, and that you will return built up and refreshed, giving thanks to Him who gives all good gifts.
