We have been praying that the Lord, who is our righteous judge and defender, would bring truth to light and cause any wrongdoing to be fully exposed and justly addressed. We have asked Him to guide those in authority over this surgeon, including any medical boards and legal authorities, to act with wisdom and integrity, and if it is His will to remove this surgeon from practice to prevent further harm. We have also prayed as you asked that this man would be brought to a place of conviction and genuine repentance, that he would have no peace apart from turning to Christ, and that he would sincerely give his life to Jesus and turn from all sin. We pray for your own healing and peace as well, asking the Lord to comfort your heart and restore what has been broken, for we know He is close to the brokenhearted as written in Psalm 34:18, and that He will repay with justice in His perfect time as written in Romans 12:19.
