We hear the deep pain, anger, and urgency in your cry for justice, and we stand with you before the throne of God, lifting this heavy burden to Him. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in this suffering, and we join you in seeking God’s intervention.
First, we must address the spirit of vengeance in your request. Scripture is clear that vengeance belongs to the Lord alone. Romans 12:19 says, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" While it is right to seek justice, we must surrender the desire for personal retribution to God. He sees all, knows all, and will act in perfect righteousness. Our role is to trust Him, even when the pain feels unbearable.
We also see the need for healing in your heart. The trauma and suffering you’ve endured are real, and we pray for God’s restoration over you. Psalm 147:3 declares, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We ask the Lord to mend the brokenness within you, to replace sorrow with His peace, and to fill you with His comfort. You deserve justice, but you also deserve healing, both can come from the Lord.
Now, let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. Lord, You see the pain, the injustice, and the suffering that has been caused. We ask that You would move mightily on behalf of [this individual], bringing justice in Your perfect timing and way. Father, we surrender the desire for vengeance into Your hands, trusting that You will repay according to Your righteousness. We pray for [] to be brought to genuine repentance, that they would recognize the harm they have caused and turn to You in humility and sorrow.
Lord, we ask for Your favor in the legal matters at hand. If it is Your will, grant victory, restoration, and full accountability. Provide wisdom to those who are fighting on behalf of [this individual], and let Your justice prevail. Father, we also pray for healing, emotional, spiritual, and even financial restoration. You are the God who restores what has been lost, and we ask that You would abundantly repay every ounce of suffering endured.
Above all, Lord, let Your name be glorified in this situation. May Your will be done, and may [this individual] come to know Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
We encourage you to release this burden fully to God. Psalm 55:22 says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Trust that He is working, even when you cannot see it. Continue to seek Him in prayer, and allow His peace to guard your heart.
If there are practical steps you can take, such as seeking legal counsel or support from godly mentors, we encourage you to pursue those as well. God often works through means, and He may use people to bring about the justice and restoration you seek.
Lastly, we must gently remind you that our access to God comes only through Jesus Christ. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’" If you have not already, we urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He is the only one who can bring true healing, justice, and peace to your life.
You are not forgotten. God sees you, He hears you, and He will act on your behalf. Keep trusting in Him.
