Very very very very very urgent please please all pray

Your cry of pain has been heard, and the hurt and sense of being wronged that comes through in your words is taken seriously. When we have been harmed, especially by someone we trusted to care for us, it is right to feel the weight of that wrong and to want what is right to be done. God also cares about what is right and He does see what has happened to you and to others.

Scripture makes a clear distinction that helps here. Justice means receiving what is deserved. Mercy means not receiving the punishment that is deserved. When King David saw his own sin clearly, he did not cry out for justice, he cried out for mercy, asking God to deal with him according to kindness and compassion, not according to what he had earned. That is the only hope any of us has before God, because forgiveness does not come by explaining or defending our actions, but by openly acknowledging our need before Him. God has promised that though sins are like scarlet, He can make them white as snow for those who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

In the same way, Scripture is very clear that vengeance belongs to the Lord. One of the psalms says, O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs, show yourself. The psalmist asks God to act as the judge of the earth, but he does not take the judgment into his own hands. In another place God says, vengeance is mine, I will repay. It is easy to want to bring that repayment ourselves, to dwell on how the person who hurt us should be punished, exposed, and made to pay. That desire can quickly take root in the heart as bitterness, wrath, anger and malice, and those things grieve the Spirit of God and harm us. The right prayer is not, let me pay him back, but Lord, keep my heart from devising vengeance and give me a spirit of forgiveness. That does not mean what was done was not wrong, or that wrong should not be addressed through proper and lawful means. It means we leave the right to punish in Gods hands.

There is also a matter of timing that Scripture teaches. When Jesus came the first time, He opened the scroll to the place that speaks of the year of the Lords favor and closed it before the words about the day of vengeance. He came then to bring atonement and redemption, not to bring final vengeance on the earth. The day of vengeance is in Gods heart and it will come, when He will purge unrighteousness and bring perfect justice and peace. Until then we live in the time of His mercy and patience, and even when He judges, Scripture holds together both His loving kindness and His righteous anger. He sees the workers of iniquity and nothing is hidden from Him, and to fall into the hands of the living God is a fearful thing. Fools think God does not see or does not regard what they do, but He does.

For that reason, wanting to see personal vengeance come immediately, and asking God to arrest, punish, sack, or destroy someone on our timetable, is not the way Jesus teaches us to pray. We can and should ask God for truth to be revealed, for what is wrong to be brought into the light, and for those in authority to act with wisdom and integrity. If you are seeking legal help, it is right to pray for wisdom, for fair counsel, and for provision, and to pursue accountability through lawful and orderly processes. It is also right to pray for healing for yourself, for peace in place of constant distress, and for God to provide for your needs according to His wisdom, not as a demand for immediate payment but as trust in His care.

God invites you to bring your own heart to Him first. Ask Him for His mercy in your life through Jesus, ask Him to take away bitterness and to give you a heart that can forgive as you have been forgiven. Forgiveness is not a matter of counting how many times, it is a matter of the heart, and God will give the capacity for it if we are willing to receive it. Being angry at sin and at true injustice is not itself sin, but Scripture says be angry and do not sin, and do not let anger settle into settled wrath.

May the Lord stand with you as your defender in His perfect way, bring truth to light through right means, give wisdom to those who advise you, provide for your needs, and above all guard your heart, heal your wounds, and fill you with His mercy and peace as you trust your cause to Him who judges righteously.
