We hear your deep distress and cry out to the Lord on your behalf, lifting up your urgent request for justice in this matter. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God hears the cries of His children and is a righteous Judge who defends the oppressed. The Bible tells us in Psalm 103:6, "The Lord executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed." We trust that He will move on your behalf according to His perfect will and timing.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Advocate and Defender. We lift up this situation to You, asking that You intervene in power and authority. Lord, we pray that You would grant favor and victory in this complaint, that justice would be served without delay, and that restitution would be made fully and abundantly. We ask that You would hold this individual accountable for their actions, not only toward this dear one but toward all those they have wronged. Let Your righteous judgment be swift and sure, Lord, as You promise in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"

We also pray for wisdom and peace for you during this time. The Lord says in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." May you feel His presence and strength surrounding you, even as you wait for His justice to unfold.

However, we must gently address the tone of vengeance in this request. While it is right to seek justice, Scripture also calls us to forgive and to leave room for God’s wrath rather than harboring bitterness or a desire for personal retribution. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." This does not mean ignoring wrongdoing, but it does mean releasing the desire for harm to come to others into God’s hands. We pray that your heart would be softened to forgive, even as you seek justice, so that you may experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we ask that You would work in this situation to bring about Your perfect will. If it is Your plan for this individual to face consequences for their actions, we trust that You will bring it to pass. But we also pray for their repentance and transformation, that they might turn from their ways and seek Your face. May this situation ultimately bring glory to Your name and draw others closer to You.

We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement with you for a just and swift resolution. May the Lord surround you with His peace, guide your steps, and fill you with hope as you wait on Him. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We can hear how worn down you feel by this process, and the weight of waiting for justice to happen is heavy. When someone in a position of trust has treated you badly, it cuts deep, and the financial pressure of the lost money only adds to the strain. It makes complete sense that you are desperate for this to be over and for things to be made right.

One thing you can do right now, even while the complaint works its way through the system, is gather everything you have in one place: all your letters, dates, any notes you made about what happened, and the details of your complaint. Having it organized can help you feel a little less powerless when delays happen, and it means you are ready the moment you are asked for more information. You do not have to figure out the legal side alone, you have already taken the brave step of speaking up, and you can keep reaching toward the resolution you deserve.

We are praying with you, trusting that God sees every detail of what happened and cares deeply about honesty and fairness. We are not going to tell you to calm down or to let it go, we hear you.

Lord, we lift up this situation to you right now. You see the injustice that’s been done and the money that needs to be returned. We ask you to move this complaint forward and bring an honest, swift outcome. Give wisdom to those reviewing the case, and clear every obstacle that’s causing delay. We also ask for a steady peace to settle over your child in the middle of this fight, not a peace that ignores the wrong, but a peace that lets them keep breathing while they wait. Protect them from being consumed by anger, and let the truth come to light so that no one else gets hurt. We pray this in the strong name of Jesus.

You have poured out a very urgent cry, and your heart is hot with a sense of wrong. Yet I must bid you pause and let your soul be still before the Lord, for the tempest of our spirit often drowns the voice of wisdom. There is a cry here for justice upon another, and I hear the name of Jesus invoked to bring swift punishment, dismissal, and shame. But is this the mind of Christ? He who, when reviled, reviled not again, and when suffering, threatened not, but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously.

Consider the justice of God. It is a deep and terrible thing. You would call down fire from heaven upon this man, but remember that the Lord is slow to anger, and His justice lingers that men might repent. The cloud of divine justice was charged with fiery hail against us all, yet it spent its fury upon the head of the Substitute in Gethsemane and on the tree. If you have truly looked to that sacrifice, then your own debt is cancelled; but if you would have God pour out wrath without mercy upon another soul, you have not yet understood the greatness of the pardon you yourself require. No convinced sinner ever rails at God’s justice for himself, but here the demand is for a fellow-sinner’s ruin. Let him that is without sin cast the first stone.

Admire rather the divine sovereignty. The Lord doth as He wills with His own, and He gives not account of His matters to us. It may be that this very trial is a divine discipline for your own heart, a tearing away of some earthly comfort to make you cling closer to the Cross. The eagle stirs up her nest, flutters over her young, and takes them upon her wings to teach them to fly; so the Lord often permits losses and injustices to wean us from this world. Would you rather have your money back than have the gentle hand of God upon your soul, shaping you for glory? We are quick to cry out against pain, but slow to bless the hand that wounds with affection.

And what of the man who has wronged you? The Lord’s sentence may yet be, “Let My people go free”, not from a legal complaint, but from the bondage of bitterness and a vindictive spirit. You are in danger of being incensed against the Lord’s own creature, and thus against the Lord Himself, for the anger that will not yield to forgiveness burns in opposition to the God who sovereignly orders all things. Your greatest need is not a refund nor the dismissal of a physician, but that your own heart be freely pardoned and made like the heart of Jesus. All that are incensed against Him shall be ashamed when they come to know His grace; lay down your weapons, then, and seek mercy for yourself and for your enemy.

I do not say that you should not pursue a just resolution through proper means, but let it be with a lamblike spirit, leaving the outcome to Him who judges righteously. Rather let this petition be upon your lips: “Lord, forgive me my debts, as I forgive my debtor. If it be Thy will, let justice be done on earth, but above all, let mercy triumph over judgment in my soul, and in the soul of him that has wronged me, that we both might meet at the feet of Jesus, amazed at the pardon purchased by His blood.” For when Justice once is satisfied by Christ, it were a crying injustice if it should ask for more upon a repentant sinner. God can be just, and yet the Justifier of him that believeth in Jesus.

Lay your urgent cause at the throne, but let your urgency be for grace to love your enemy, to bless them that curse you, and to do good to them that despitefully use you. The divine interposition you most need is deliverance from the flood of a wrathful spirit, for that flood can drown the soul in eternal ruin. He hath delivered our soul from death, and that is a mercy far exceeding any earthly refund. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these other things shall be added in the measure and time that seemeth best to Him whose wisdom is unsearchable and whose love is everlasting.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer places you in the very grip of that contest the Scriptures warn us against. You seek a victory where the other is arrested, sacked, and put to shame, a victory that requires his ruin. Yet consider that strange and glorious kind of conquest the saints know: not by striking back, but by being struck; not by overreaching, but by suffering wrong with a soul that will not be moved. A man dragged to martyrdom appears conquered, his hands bound, his body beaten, yet in truth he alone holds the trophy. The waves hurl themselves against the rock only to be broken; the rock does not fight, yet it conquers by endurance. That is the victory given from above, an invincible power that leaves the wrongdoer amazed, not crushed by your hand but silenced by your untroubled strength.

You have been treated badly, and the pain of it runs deep. But see what is happening within you: the injury has inflamed a thirst to see your enemy brought to his knees, stripped of his livelihood, exposed before all. What kind of trophy is that? If you succeed in court, you gain silver and the sight of his fall, but you enter the conflict and risk becoming a mirror of the one who harmed you. The truly triumphant soul does not enter the conflict at all. It refuses to weary itself with schemes of punishment, entrusting the matter entirely to the righteous Judge. He who seems defeated, bearing the injustice without retaliation, is the one who stands already crowned in the arena while the spectators marvel. Why disgrace yourself by striving blow for blow? Let him who did wrong see in you a soul so firmly anchored in God that it has no need to treat an enemy as he treated you. To conquer by doing wrong is no victory; to conquer by refusing to do wrong, even when you have the power, is the victory of Christ Himself.

Do not seek a battle, for then you may lose your own peace while obtaining your pounds. Seek instead to walk away with the spoil that no solicitor can recover: a quiet heart, a forgiving spirit, and the honor of one who has left vengeance to God. This is the true refund, the abundant compensation that cannot be stolen. Win that, and you have won in every way that eternity will remember.

I hear the weight of frustration and desperation in your words. When someone has treated you so badly, and you are left waiting for justice and the return of what was taken, it can feel like you are facing an overwhelming army all on your own. But remember, if the Lord wants to bring victory, He doesn’t need an army. He can deliver through one person who trusts in Him completely. The battle is never won by sheer numbers or by your own strength, but by the God who made heaven and earth.

Bring this entire situation before the Lord and then leave it there. You have already asked Him to fight for you, to stand up for you, and to hold this person accountable. Now trust that He has heard you. His justice is perfect, even when human systems fail. It is so easy to take up a complaint and let it turn into bitterness in your soul, but God invites you to release that to Him. He does not pervert justice. He sees exactly what was done to you and to others, and He knows how to deal with it in His time and His way.

There is a kind of victory you can walk in even before you see a single penny refunded or a single consequence handed down. Like the people who went out to battle singing praises before the fight even began, you can thank God for the victory that is already yours in Christ. When you praise Him now, you are declaring that His mercy endures forever and that He is already working behind the scenes. That praise changes your own heart. It lifts you from defeat into strength, because your confidence shifts from what you can force to happen, to what God has promised to do.

Be careful also that the desire to see another person punished does not become a snare for your own spirit. The victory God gives is not just over outward adversaries, but first and foremost over the giants of the flesh within us, reactions like rage, a violent temper, or a thirst for revenge. Real victory is when the steam of that anger is no longer generated inside you, because Christ has removed the source. You can ask Him not only to handle the situation, but to keep your own heart free from anything that would defile you. That is a victory no one can take from you.

Stand on the finished work of the cross. Jesus triumphed over every principality and power, making an open display of their defeat. Through Him, you share in that victory. When you pray, you are not begging a distant God; you are enforcing the triumph that Christ already won. Come against the forces of manipulation, injustice, and greed in His name, and trust that they must yield. Your loved one, your finances, your peace of mind, these are not unreachable.

Continue to pour out your heart to God, but also let His Word fill your mind. The promises of Scripture will anchor you when doubt tries to creep in. You will tread down this enemy through the Lord’s strength. Let your soul choose life and not the strangling grip of despair. He will bring the matter to its right conclusion, and you will see that He is faithful.
