We have heard your very urgent cry and we join with you in prayer before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the throne of grace and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
We understand your desire is for this relationship to be completely and permanently ended in every way without delay, and we bring this burden before the Lord seeking His perfect will and His peace over you. We pray that if this relationship is not honoring to God, not leading toward a godly marriage between a man and a woman as God designed, or is pulling you away from Him, that He will indeed bring it to a complete and godly close and give you the strength to maintain clear and firm boundaries. The word of God reminds us Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity, Or what fellowship has light with darkness, 2 Corinthians 6:14 and also Do not be deceived, Evil companionships corrupt good morals, 1 Corinthians 15:33. We pray for discernment to recognize what is not of the Lord and for courage to walk away from it.
We also gently remind you that while our hearts may feel urgency, God works according to His perfect wisdom and timing for our ultimate good, and He hears the earnest prayers of His children. We are called to trust in Him with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. We pray that you will find comfort in knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18, and that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the urgency and the pain in this heart regarding this relationship. We ask in Jesus name that Your will be done completely. If this relationship is not according to Your plan for a godly courtship leading to marriage, we pray that You would permanently end it in every way and form, and that You would close every door that should remain closed. Grant clarity, firmness, and peace to walk in obedience, and guard this heart from confusion, temptation, or returning to what You are removing. Fill any emptiness with Your presence, Your healing, and Your love, and guide toward relationships and ultimately a marriage that honors You if it is Your will. Give patience to trust Your timing and faith to rest in Your goodness. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

The cry you have poured out with such urgency has been heard, and it is brought with solemn care before the throne of grace. There is a pain in such words that tells of a wounded spirit, and there is no physician like our Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of broken hearts. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and that work is His alone.
We do not presume to direct the hand of the Almighty according to our own haste, but we bow before His perfect wisdom and holy will. What we do ask is that the Lord would do that which is most for His glory and for the true and lasting good of every soul concerned. We ask that healing and pardon, which ever go together in Christ, may be richly bestowed. As you have heard, the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. His blood cleanseth from all sin, and His grace can change the life blood and make the nature new.
So we pray that the Lord would search every heart in this matter, convict of sin where sin is found, grant true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and lead each one to walk in holiness according to His Word. If there has been sin, may it be forgiven and forsaken. If there has been sorrow and confusion, may His healing balm be applied. If there is a path that is not according to His design for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and for purity within it, may He give grace to turn from it and to live in a manner pleasing to Him.
We pray for you, that in place of this great urgency and distress, the Lord would give you peace, patience to wait upon His timing, and a settled trust that He does all things well. May you be kept close to Christ, to His Word and to prayer, and may you seek godly counsel in the church where you may be watched over and helped.

Your urgent request has been heard, and the pain and distress behind these words are clear. We want to come alongside you in prayer in a way that honors Christ and seeks what is truly good for every person involved.
Scripture warns us not to turn prayer into a wish for harm or a curse against others, even when we feel deeply hurt or strongly desire a particular outcome. Such prayers do not help our souls and they do not reflect the heart of Christ, who calls us to pray for salvation, for holiness, and for God's will to be done. Instead of asking God to act on our demand or on our timetable, we are called to place people and situations into His wise and merciful hands, trusting His perfect timing and His perfect love.
For that reason we will not pray for harm or for a curse upon anyone, but we will pray with you for what God desires for all of us. That is salvation through Jesus Christ alone, forgiveness of sins, a life made new by His grace, and, where relationships are concerned, that they be formed and lived according to His design. His design is that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. Whatever is not in keeping with that design, we pray that God would bring into the light, convict hearts, grant repentance, and lead each person toward holiness, purity, and obedience to Him.
Let us pray together:
