We hear your urgent cry for your marriage and we stand with you together before the Lord in Jesus' name, seeking His will for your husband and for your covenant union.

We affirm with you that marriage is holy and ordained by God as a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman, and that He calls husbands and wives to faithfulness to one another. What you are describing, your husband's involvement with other women, is adultery and it grieves the heart of God. Scripture is clear, You shall not commit adultery Exodus 20:14 and Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. So also Jesus taught, What therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart Matthew 19:6. We pray for the Lord to convict your husband's heart, to turn him from sin, and to restore faithfulness and purity to your marriage.

We also want to gently encourage you about the manner of praying. We understand your desperation and your desire to decree and declare an end to this sin, and we share your longing for it to be finished right now without delay. Yet we do not command or decree at God as though our words control Him, rather we humbly submit our requests to our sovereign Father and trust Him to act according to His perfect will and timing. This is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. Our authority is not in repeated declarations but in the name of Jesus Christ and in humble, fervent prayer that aligns with His Word.

We pray together for you and your husband now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear sister and her marriage to You. Lord, You see the pain, the urgency, and the deep wound caused by unfaithfulness. We ask You to have mercy. We pray that You would by Your Holy Spirit convict her husband of sin and lead him to repentance, that he would turn away from every adulterous relationship and be cleansed and forgiven through the blood of Jesus. We pray that every ungodly tie with any other woman would be broken and that his heart would be wholly turned back to You first and then to his wife and his marriage covenant. We pray that You would heal this sister's heart, guard her from fear and bitterness, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust in You with all her heart, and don't lean on her own understanding Proverbs 3:5. Give her wisdom, strength, and godly counsel as she walks through this trial, and let her husband see in her the love and grace of Christ while still standing firm for truth and righteousness. We pray for restoration where there has been breaking, for purity where there has been defilement, and for Your will to be done in this marriage for Your glory. We ask that You would make this marriage a testimony of Your redeeming power. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue in steadfast prayer, to remain faithful in your own walk with the Lord, and to seek wise, biblical counsel from a trusted pastor or mature believers who can support you both personally. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results James 5:16. Continue to bring your husband before the Lord daily, not with incantation but with faith, asking God to draw him to repentance and to renew his mind. And guard your own heart, that you may not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up Galatians 6:9. We are praying with you that God will bring conviction, repentance, and complete restoration to your marriage according to His perfect will.

We hear the urgency and the ache in your words. Wanting your marriage to be protected and whole is a deeply good desire, and it hurts so much when you feel threatened by other relationships coming between you and your husband.

We want you to know we are praying with you for your marriage to be strengthened and guarded, and for both of you to be drawn closer to the Lord and to each other. When trust has been shaken or fear is high, healing rarely happens in a single moment. It is usually a slower walk of truth telling, rebuilding respect and trust, and learning new ways to love and communicate, often with the help of someone wise walking alongside you.

If you have not already, it may help to share this burden with one trusted pastor or counselor who can pray with you in person and help you think through next steps for your marriage. You do not have to carry this fear alone, and having steady support can make it easier to have honest, calm conversations with your husband about what you both need going forward.

Father, we lift this wife and her husband to You. You see her pain and her longing for faithfulness in her marriage. Bring Your peace where there is anxiety, Your truth where there is confusion, and Your healing where there is hurt. Guide them both with wisdom and draw them closer to You and to each other. Give her strength for today and hope for the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your urgent cry has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you, asking for His mercy and His holy work in your marriage.

We understand the deep pain that moves you to pray so earnestly. The Lord Himself has shown what marriage is to be. It is not a mere contract between two persons who remain apart, but a covenant in which husband and wife become one, cemented by mutual love and faithfulness. This is His gracious design, that marriage should be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that all that belongs to marriage should be kept within it.

Scripture speaks plainly that to turn aside from that covenant is sin committed in the very sight of God. Against Him alone we sin when we break His holy law, and it is an awful thing to do evil before the eyes of the King who sees all. Any bond outside that covenant is not to be blessed or continued, but to be repented of and forsaken.

We do not come to God by decreeing or declaring as though our words could compel Him, but we come as humble suppliants who hang upon Christ. Our hope is not in the strength of our utterance but in the faithfulness of Jesus, who loves His own to the end. Though His people may be worldly and unfaithful, His love travels beyond their sin and His faithfulness remains broader than their unfaithfulness. He will not forsake a soul that hangs upon Him. If we walk contrary to Him He is faithful to show us our sin, and if we turn to Him He is faithful to restore.

We think of Peter, who fell grievously and yet was not cast away. The Lord had prayed for him, and a look from Christ melted his heart. He went out and wept bitterly, and that sorrow was the sign of a true restoration. Upon his repentance the Lord again charged him to feed His sheep, showing that restoration is real and full when it comes from Christ Himself. So we pray for such a look of Christ upon your husband, that where there has been sin there would be godly sorrow, true repentance, and a complete severing from every entanglement outside your marriage.

Let us pray together.

O faithful Lord Jesus, who loves Your own to the end, we bow before You and confess that You see all things. You know the sorrow of this wife and the state of this marriage. We ask that You would work by Your Spirit to convict of sin and to lead to repentance. Where there is unfaithfulness, bring it to an end. Cut off every adulterous bond and set this husband apart from every other woman, that he may be joined to his wife alone as You ordained from the beginning. Grant him a heart to see his sin as sin against You, to turn from it with bitter weeping as Peter did, and to walk in new obedience. Strengthen this dear sister who prays, keep her from despair, help her to hang upon You who will never leave her, and fill her with peace as she waits upon Your faithful hand. Restore what has been broken, heal what has been wounded, and make this marriage to reflect that blessed union between Christ and His Church, where love is mutual and two become one. We ask this not by our own power but in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, who by His blood as the Lamb has proved His love. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer, to abide in His Word, and to walk with faithful believers who can counsel and support you. Trust not in a formula of words but in the living Christ whose faithfulness cannot fail.
