We have heard your urgent cry and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name. We understand how distressing it can feel to be so aware of every mark, scar, dent, dark circle, hollow, vein and line on your face, eyes, neck, stomach, hips and body, and how deeply you desire to be healed and made new. We want you to know that God sees you, He hears you, and He cares about every detail of your life and the anguish of your heart.
We are reminded in scripture that we are wonderfully made by His hands, I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. Psalm 139:14. And we are also reminded where true beauty is found, Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 1 Peter 3:3-4. This does not mean God does not care about our bodies or our suffering, for He does, but it helps us keep our hearts anchored in what He values most while we bring our physical needs to Him. Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7.
We also want to gently encourage you in the way we approach our Father. We hear the urgency in your words as you ask for removal with no delay and for miracles now. It is right and good to ask boldly for healing, for He is the Lord who heals us, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. Yet we come to Him not demanding or commanding, but humbly asking according to His perfect will and timing, trusting that His ways are higher than ours. This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14. His answer may be immediate, it may be gradual through His healing power or through wisdom He gives to physicians, and it will always be for our good and His glory. We are called to bring our requests with thanksgiving and to receive His peace while we wait, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
We now pray together for you.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this precious one to You. You know every mark, scar, dent, dark circle, hollow, vein, line and every other concern of the skin on the face, around and under the eyes, above the ear, on the neck, stomach, hips and whole body, even those not mentioned or forgotten. We ask for Your healing touch, that You would restore and renew the skin according to Your will, whether by Your miraculous power or through the wisdom and care You provide. We ask that You would make whole what feels broken and bring comfort where there is distress. Above all, Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your peace that surpasses understanding, calm the anxious heart, and help this dear one to rest in being fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image and deeply loved by You. Help us all to seek first Your Kingdom and to trust Your perfect timing and goodness. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to Your throne of grace. We entrust this need into Your loving hands and ask for Your will to be done. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring this to the Lord daily with thanksgiving, trusting His love for you, and to rest in His peace as you wait on Him. We also encourage you to be a good steward of the body God has given you and to seek wise counsel from trusted medical professionals if needed, praying for God to guide their hands. Remember that your worth is not measured by flawless skin but by being a beloved child of God, created for His glory, and He is at work to make you whole in body, soul and spirit. Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. We continue to stand with you in prayer.
