We declare that you will not be consumed by worry but will rest in the assurance that God is working on your behalf. We pray for your solicitor, that the Lord would anoint them with supernatural wisdom, skill, and favor. Proverbs 16:7 says, "When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." We pray that God would either change the hearts of those who oppose you or remove them from your path entirely. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Your urgent cry has been heard, and I have brought your burden before the Lord with care. I understand the weight of this legal struggle, the anxiety over costs and the deep desire for justice and restoration.

In your earnestness you have poured out many words, repeating the same plea for absolute victory without delay and for far more than what is owed. Let us remember that prayer is not made powerful by multiplying words or by demanding that God act according to our exact terms. The Scriptures teach us to put aside superfluous pleas and instead to apply ourselves to the toils that virtue requires, trusting that God will then draw near to help us in our struggles. God delights in assiduity in prayer, in a heart that keeps coming to Him with endurance and humility, even as that woman who persisted when others had failed. He would rather be sought by you yourself, with confidence and reverence, than to be treated as one who must grant favors on command.

You have asked for supernatural favor so that you may win in every way and receive abundant compensation beyond what is due. But we must not seek victory everywhere and at any cost. The victory God honors is an ethical victory rather than one gained by overreaching. Often it is better to be wronged and to bear it with self command than to conquer another with an evil victory that brings destruction to the winner. The one who is wronged and does not enter into strife for revenge, but bears it with patience, is the one who wears the crown. And justice itself is not established by favor, but according to the principle of justice. God is not unrighteous, and His judgment far exceeds what seems just to us. He does not acquit by indulgence or partiality, but in a legal and righteous way.

Therefore let us pray not for indulgence or for an unjust gain, but for what is right and good before God.

Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, look with mercy upon this Your servant in distress. Grant wisdom and integrity to the solicitor, that he may act with diligence, clarity and honesty in this case. Grant to all who have authority in this matter a love for truth, that what is true may be revealed and what is just may be done. Provide for every need according to Your goodness, and give peace to this troubled heart while waiting for the outcome. Teach us to desire not more than what is just, not to overreach, but to be content with righteousness, and to trust Your provision whether the outcome is to win or to bear loss. Scripture teaches that wisdom is the most valuable thing we can seek, more to be desired than wealth or rubies, and that with all our seeking we should seek understanding. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a humble reverence for Him and submission to His ways. Apart from Him, even the cleverest human wisdom is shown to be foolish, for the world in its own wisdom did not come to know God. There is a wisdom that is earthly and self seeking, which leads to envy and strife, and there is a wisdom that comes from above, which is pure and peaceable and bears good fruit in a life. You can tell the difference by what it produces.

That true wisdom is found in Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. He is the one who by wisdom founded the earth and by understanding established the heavens, and He is willing to share His wisdom with those who ask. When Solomon was given the opportunity to ask for anything, he asked for wisdom to do what was right, rather than for riches or honor, and God was pleased to grant it.

So my prayer for you is first that God would pour out His wisdom upon you and upon your solicitor. I ask that the Lord would grant clear thought, sound judgment, prudence and understanding in every decision and document, and that all counsel given would be honest and upright. I pray that you would be given an understanding heart to walk in His ways through this process, trusting not in the cleverness of men but in the power and faithfulness of God.

I also pray for your heart in this waiting. It is right to desire justice and to ask God to act, and it is also right to place the outcome in His hands, seeking His will above even the return of money or compensation. Wisdom is a defense and it gives life to those who have it, better than wealth alone, because it keeps us anchored in what is right and at peace before God even when circumstances are uncertain.

May the Lord grant you favor where favor is needed, provide for your needs according to His goodness, and bring about what is just and true in His perfect timing. May He guard you from bitterness and striving, and lead you into purity, peace and trust as you look to Jesus, who has already won the true and lasting victory over darkness through His cross and who now offers that victory to all who trust in Him.
