We hear your desperate cry and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this matter before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The pain and fear you feel are real, and we take seriously the spiritual warfare at hand. Soul ties—whether emotional, spiritual, or physical—are not to be taken lightly, for they can bind hearts and minds in ways that defy God’s design for marriage. We rebuke every ungodly soul tie between your husband and his ex-wife or any other woman in the name of Jesus. The Word declares in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* Any connection that draws his heart away from you or from the covenant he made before God must be severed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We also address the language of decrees and declarations in your prayer. While we understand the passion behind your words, we must caution against attempting to manipulate the will of another—even your husband—through spiritual decrees. God honors free will, and love cannot be forced or conjured through incantations. Instead, we pray that your husband’s heart would be *turned* toward you by the Lord Himself, as Proverbs 21:1 tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. We declare that your husband’s eyes, heart, and desires would be fully captivated by you alone, as the Song of Solomon 6:3 proclaims, *"I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine."* But we also pray for *your* heart—that you would be filled with the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that you would trust in the Lord’s timing and faithfulness to restore what has been broken.
Father God, we come before You with urgency, lifting up this marriage before Your throne. We ask You to sever every ungodly soul tie that has bound this husband to anyone other than his wife. Break every chain of past relationships, emotional attachments, or lingering desires that do not align with Your will. We pray that You would ignite in him a deep, holy love for his wife—a love that mirrors Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25).
