We hear the deep longing and pain in your heart, and we come before the Lord with this urgent plea, standing on His Word and seeking His will. First, we must address the foundation of this request, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His power that true transformation occurs. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23 WEB). We lift this to God in Jesus’ name, trusting Him to work according to His perfect will.

Father God, we come before You with this heavy burden, asking that You would move mightily in this situation. Lord, we pray that You would break every ungodly soul tie, every unholy attachment, and every distraction that has kept this man’s heart from being fully devoted to You and, if it is Your will, to this woman. We ask that You would remove all influences of the enemy that have caused division, lust, or unfaithfulness. "Create in him a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within him" (Psalm 51:10 WEB). We rebuke every spirit of infidelity, deception, and idolatry in Jesus’ name, and we declare that his heart would be turned fully toward You and, if it aligns with Your plan, toward this woman alone.

Lord, we pray that You would convict him of any sin in his life, whether it be lust, pornography, emotional or physical unfaithfulness, or any other form of impurity. "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). If there has been any form of fornication, adultery, or ungodly relationships, we ask that You would bring repentance and restoration. We pray that he would delete every ungodly image, message, or memory from his devices, not because of manipulation or control, but because his heart is surrendered to You. "If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna" (Matthew 5:29 WEB).

Father, we also lift up this woman’s heart to You. We ask that You would guard her from bitterness, jealousy, or unhealthy control. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your plan, knowing that "love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil" (1 Corinthians 13:4-5 WEB). If this relationship is not aligned with Your will, give her the strength to release it to You and to walk in faith, knowing that You have a perfect plan for her life.

Lord, we pray for godly wisdom and discernment in this relationship. If this man is to be her husband, we ask that You would prepare both of their hearts for a marriage that honors You. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). But if this relationship is not of You, we ask that You would close the door and lead them both into Your perfect will. Give them the courage to seek You above all else and to pursue relationships that reflect Your love and holiness.

We declare that no weapon formed against this relationship, or against either of their walks with You, shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We bind every spirit of division, lust, and unfaithfulness in Jesus’ name, and we loose the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, over both of their lives (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB).

Father, we trust You to move in this situation. Whether it is restoration, healing, or redirection, we ask that You would be glorified. Give them both the strength to walk in purity, the wisdom to seek Your will, and the faith to trust You completely. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surrender this situation fully to Him. Trust that He is working, even when you cannot see it. If this man is not walking in repentance and holiness, do not compromise your own faith or values to hold onto a relationship that is not of God. Seek godly counsel and surround yourself with believers who can support you in prayer and wisdom. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). God sees your heart, and He will not fail you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear the ache and urgency in your words, and we’re so sorry you’re carrying this. When someone we love is tangled up with others, whether emotionally or more, it can feel like a living nightmare, and the desperate, repeated prayers come from a very real place. We’re praying with you right now, and we’re not going to offer simple answers, just a steady, warm presence that points you toward the One who sees it all.

Often in this kind of pain, the desire to control what another person does with his heart and his phone can overtake us. That’s completely understandable. But real change, the kind that lasts, is a work only God can do inside a person, through conviction and a willing spirit. Our prayers don’t force someone’s hand, but they open the possibility for God’s quiet, powerful work. So we can bring all of this to Him while also tending to your own heart, which has clearly been wounded. You’re not forgotten in this story.

It could be very helpful, in the middle of this storm, to talk face to face with a wise pastor or a Christian counselor. They can help you sort through what’s happening without judgment, and they can give you safe ground to figure out how to care for yourself while you pray. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

Let us pray together:

Jesus, we lift up this woman who is crying out to You with so much pain. Calm her heart, wrap her in Your peace that doesn’t make sense in the middle of chaos. For this man, we ask You to search his soul, bring conviction where there’s hidden sin, clarity where there’s confusion, and a true desire to honor You in his choices. We don’t know what that will look like, but we trust You to work. Give her wisdom moment by moment: wisdom to know what to say, when to wait, and when to seek help. Protect her dignity and give her the strength to not be consumed by this. In the end, we cling to Your love for her, a love that never wavers. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You ask with great urgency, but let me put this matter plainly before you. What you have written is not a prayer of submission to God’s will, but a demand that He enforce your own. You are asking the Almighty to seize a man’s heart, his eyes, his phone, his very memory, and bend them all to your desire. This is not the language of faith; it is the cry of jealousy and control. True prayer lays the soul at the Father’s feet and says, “Not my will, but Yours be done.”

Consider this: if this man has entangled himself with other women, that very fact testifies that the relationship was not built upon the holy ground of a covenant bound by God. Purity went down and charity went up. Yet charity without purity will be of no use. You cannot compel fidelity by force of words, no matter how often you invoke the name of Jesus. A heart that must be commanded to love is not a heart won by grace.

I must ask you, is this the spotlessness to which you are called? Mind that you are not spotted in that way. The fierce longing for another person’s exclusive attention can become an idol that blackens the soul with discontent and suspicion. If every photograph vanished and every number were deleted by some sudden stroke, would that create in him a clean heart? No. The Holy Spirit alone can do that, and He works not by our panic, but by our repentance and faith.

Now hear the gospel for your own troubled spirit, for you are the one who seems bound in affliction. The Lord does sometimes whisper to the heart of His children and assure them in trial that they shall not be crushed. He who brought Israel out of Egypt with a mighty hand is able to bring you out of this pit of fretful despair. But your deliverance will not come by having another person’s will coerced. It will come when you can say with Job, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.”

Let this relationship go, if it is not ordained by God. Choose not to continue in spiritual death. If this man returns to you in purity and truth, let it be the Lord’s doing, and let it be marvelous in your eyes. If he does not, then know that God has a greater deliverance for you, a freedom from the fear of man and a seat in heavenly places. He will set you to some service, perhaps after a season of healing, and you shall look back and see that He brought you forth for His own name’s sake. Go now and seek His face, not his phone.

You ask for prayer, but your words reveal a heart not praying but commanding. You demand that another's will be forcibly bent to your own, that his memories be erased, that his eyes see only you. Such a petition is not born of love but of possessiveness and jealousy. Remember what our Lord teaches: out of the heart come forth evil thoughts. This jealousy, this craving to control another soul, is uncleanness of the heart. True love seeks not its own advantage but the good of the beloved, freely given, never coerced. You treat this man as a thing to be seized and programmed, yet he is made in God's image, called to repentance and holiness, not to be your idol.

Consider the pride in such a demand. It is written, "Every one that is proud in heart is unclean before God." God looks to the meek and quiet spirit, not to those who issue decrees presuming to bind His will. You heap up words like a spell, but prayer is the humble offering of a contrite heart, not a formula to manipulate Heaven. The body washed without is nothing if the soul festers within. Your prayers cannot be pure while avarice for another's affection, rapine of his freedom, corrupts your inner being. "Blessed are the pure in heart," not those who lay claim to what is not rightfully theirs. Seek a clean heart from God, not a man's forced devotion.

Furthermore, you desire to tear out every trace of his past, as if uprooting tares. But the Lord says to let both grow together until the harvest, because in rooting out the tares prematurely you may destroy wheat that is yet to spring. You know not what God is working in his soul through those memories, perhaps to bring him to true repentance and a holy life. Your wish to destroy them is not for his salvation but for your own comfort. If you truly loved him, you would pray for his soul's purity and salvation, even if it meant your own desires went unanswered. But you pray as one who seeks to kill and slay whatever threatens your possession, when the Lord forbids such violence of spirit and instead calls us to self-examination and patient trust.

I urge you: silence your clamorous demands. Pray as Hannah prayed, her heart crying out when no voice was heard. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Repent of this idolatrous fixation on a mortal creature, for all flesh is grass and its beauty fades. God alone is changeless and worthy of your whole love. Submit this matter to His will alone, saying, "Thy will be done," not insisting on your own. Only then, with a heart cleansed from this possessive frenzy, might you see clearly what is truly good for both your souls. Until then, your prayers remain a noise that cannot ascend.

The cry of your heart is clear, and I hear the pain behind these words. You are longing for a love that is exclusive, permanent, and undivided. That kind of desire can feel consuming, like a fire in your bones. But let me gently ask you to step back and consider what kind of love you are actually asking God to create in this man.

Scripture speaks of a love that is patient and kind, a love that does not envy or boast, a love that is not self-seeking. The kind of love the Holy Spirit produces in us does not demand its own way or insist that another person have eyes only for me. That is not the divine love God gives. The jealous craving you describe, the urgent demand that every photograph and memory of anyone else be erased forever, is not the fruit of the Spirit. That is a jealousy that burns like a cruel fire, and many waters cannot wash away the kind of love that has to be forced.

I am not dismissing your hurt. But I want you to see that true love cannot be coerced, bought, or manipulated through prayer formulas. If God could simply override human will like that, He would have done it with Israel when they wandered from Him. He said, “Where is the love of the days of our espousal?” He longed for them, yet He let them choose. Love is only genuine when it is freely given. A heart that must be captured by permanently deleting every trace of other women is not a heart that freely loves. That is a heart being controlled by fear or obsession, not by the love that is strong as death.

Your own words show me that your sense of worth is tangled up in whether this man only thinks of you. But your identity and security must be rooted in something far deeper. God loved you before you ever loved Him. That is the big deal, not that you love someone else, but that He loves you with an everlasting love. When you grasp that, you will stop scrambling to secure a human love that may never satisfy. His love perfected in us drives out the torment of fear and jealousy.

I urge you to quiet your heart before the Lord and ask yourself: Is this prayer asking God to bless something that aligns with His character? Is it asking for a love that is longsuffering and kind, or for a possessive fixation? Pray for this man, yes, but pray that God’s will be done in his life, not that your will be done. You are offering up a command disguised as a request. Instead, incline your own heart to love God’s law, to hate the evil of selfish passion, and to let His love fill you until you can release this man into God’s hands. There is no peace in demanding that another person’s history and thoughts be wiped clean. There is only peace in abiding in the love of Christ, which casts out fear.

Father, I pray for this dear one. Let her experience the height and depth of Your love, the love that is giving and selfless. Deliver her from the cruel fire of jealousy and anchor her heart firmly in the faithfulness of Your word. Let her know that she is loved by You truly, completely, and eternally, regardless of what any other human heart decides. May she stop seeking her own way and instead rest in Your love, which surpasses all understanding. For where Your love rules, there is freedom. Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away from the shadows of fear into the light of His perfect love.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heart’s deepest cry and allowed us to stand with you in prayer these past days. Your raw honesty about the brokenness and the longing for restoration touched us, and we have lifted every word before the Father, asking Him to sever every ungodly tie, to heal every wound, and to write a new chapter of undivided love and loyalty in your relationship.

If the Lord has already moved in power—if your beloved’s heart has turned solely to you, if every trace of the past has been erased, and if the two of you now walk in the fullness of His design—please share that praise with us. We long to rejoice with you and give Him all the glory for the miracle He has done.

If, however, the battle still rages and the answers have not yet come as you hoped, do not lose heart. We invite you to post this request again, and we will continue to intercede with you, believing that our God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we ask or imagine. He sees your tears, He hears your cries, and He is working even when we cannot yet see the fruit.

May the Holy Spirit strengthen you with fresh hope, may the peace of Christ guard your heart and mind, and may the Father draw both of you ever closer to His perfect will. We stand with you in faith, trusting that His promises are true and His timing is perfect. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
