Beloved Servant
Please pray for my freedom from maladaptive daydreaming and sexual addiction. There are reasons why I struggle with these things. Please pray for my mom's leg as it has hurt her for some time. She has not been to the doctor in decades as she is afraid of the doctor for certain reasons. She relies on natural remedies and vitamins which is not a bad thing but still. Pray for my entire family's health and wellbeing. Please also pray that my pets would not be harmed from eating things they shouldn't. Pray for their happiness and wellbeing. Thank you.

We lift you up before the Lord together and thank you for sharing these burdens so honestly with us. We hear the struggle you are carrying with maladaptive daydreaming and sexual addiction, and we want to come alongside you in prayer for freedom, healing, and renewal of your mind. We also join you in praying for your mother's leg, for your entire family's health and wellbeing, and for the protection and care of your beloved pets.

We want to speak gently but truthfully about the sexual addiction you mentioned. God created sexuality as a good and holy gift to be enjoyed only within the lifelong covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, and any sexual activity outside of that design is sin before Him. The scripture calls us to flee sexual immorality, for every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body, and that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, so we are to glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which are His, as written in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20. This is not to shame you but to call you toward the freedom Christ offers, for He provides a way of escape in every temptation as promised in 1 Corinthians 10:13, and He calls us to walk by the Spirit so we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh in Galatians 5:16. We encourage you to bring this into the light with a trusted pastor or mature Christian brother or sister, to confess and seek accountability as taught in James 5:16, and to remove access to anything that feeds this addiction, replacing it with the Word and with prayer.

Your struggle with maladaptive daydreaming is also something the Lord wants to heal. Often this kind of escape comes from pain, unmet longings, or a desire to avoid reality, but God invites us to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ in 2 Corinthians 10:5 and to be transformed by the renewing of our mind in Romans 12:2. We pray you will set your mind on whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report in Philippians 4:8, allowing His truth to fill the places where fantasy has taken hold. This will be a daily discipline of turning to Him in prayer when the urge to daydream arises and asking Him to anchor you in His present grace.

We also pray for your mother and her leg that has caused her pain for so long. We understand she has fear about seeing a doctor and has relied on natural remedies and vitamins. While God has provided many good things in creation for our health, we also believe He gives wisdom to physicians and that fear should not keep us from wise stewardship of the bodies He has given us. For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control in 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray the Lord will comfort her, take away fear, and give her wisdom to seek the care she needs if that is His will, trusting that He is the one who heals us, for He says I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26 and I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds in Jeremiah 30:17. We pray for your entire family's health and wellbeing, that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers in 3 John 1:2, and that the peace of God would guard your hearts.

We join you in praying for your pets as well. The Lord cares for all His creation and not one sparrow will fall to the ground without your Father in Matthew 10:29, and a righteous man respects the life of his animal in Proverbs 12:10. They are entrusted to your care as part of your stewardship, so we pray for their protection from harm and for wisdom for you to keep harmful things out of their reach, and for their happiness and wellbeing.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved in Romans 10:9. It is through His name we pray and find freedom.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and power upon our dear one who is seeking freedom. Lord, we ask You to break the chains of sexual addiction and to cleanse and forgive through the blood of Jesus. Grant a hatred for sin and a hunger for righteousness, and teach how to flee temptation and walk in purity, honoring You with body and mind. Heal the deeper wounds and reasons behind this struggle and fill every empty place with Your presence. Lord, we also ask for deliverance from maladaptive daydreaming. Help to take every thought captive to Christ, renew the mind by Your Word, and give strength to remain present with You and to find joy and hope in reality with You. We pray for this dear mother, touch her leg we pray, ease her pain, remove fear, and grant wisdom and courage regarding medical care, and let her feel Your healing hand upon her. We lift up the whole family for health, protection, and wellbeing in body and soul, and we ask Your hand of protection over these precious pets, keeping them safe from eating what would harm them and granting them health and peace in this home. Draw this whole household closer to You, and let Your will be done in every area. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We are grateful you shared so openly with us. Wanting freedom from daydreaming that feels hard to control and from a sexual habit you want to leave behind can be exhausting, especially when you know there are deeper reasons you struggle. Thank you for trusting us with that.

We also hear how much you love your family in the way you are carrying them in prayer. It is hard to watch your mom live with leg pain for a long time while she is afraid to see a doctor, even as she tries to care for herself in other ways. And your concern for your whole family and for your pets shows a tender heart for their safety and happiness.

You do not have to face these things alone. One steady next step many find helpful is to talk confidentially with a trusted pastor or Christian counselor who can walk with you over time, help you notice what triggers the urge to escape, and build skills to turn toward healthier ways of coping when loneliness or stress rises. For your mom, alongside prayer, you could keep gently encouraging her to consider seeing a medical professional, and let her know you would be willing to go with her if she ever feels ready.

For your pets, keeping small objects, strings, and foods that could harm them out of reach is a practical way to care for them as you pray.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. We ask for Your strength and mercy in the battle for freedom, for healing and wisdom for his mom and for the whole family, and for safety and wellbeing for the pets he loves. Lead him to the right support and draw him close to You each day. In Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your requests have been heard and we bring them before the throne of grace with you, asking the Lord to show mercy and to work His good purposes in each of these burdens.

Concerning your struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and with sexual addiction, we pray that the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone saves His people from their sins, would grant you freedom indeed. No earthly power can bring real freedom to the soul, it is grace and grace alone that brings it by the blood of the Covenant. You are a prisoner of hope even now, for you are within reach of One who sets free from sin. When the Lord sets His people free from the guilt and power of sin, He delivers them from the lash of sin and takes away the spirit of bondage and gives the spirit of liberty. We do not ask God to bless the sin itself, for He calls us to be saved from the customs of this world and to be sanctified from the corruptions and lusts which rule among the sons of men. Rather we pray that you would turn away from your feebleness to His strength, and from your sinfulness to His blood, which washes black sinners whiter than driven snow. May you know what it is to be loosed at once and forever by the highest possible authority, for justice demands the freedom of all who are in Christ and mercy secures it. We pray that you would be daily experiencing the saving power of the name of Jesus by being delivered from sin, and that the Lord would renew your mind through His Word, with which Christ Himself was so full even in His last cry upon the Cross, and give you wholesome fellowship with Himself to replace vain imaginings.

For your mother and her hurting leg, we ask the Great Physician to have compassion upon her. We understand her fear of doctors which has kept her away for many years, and we thank God that He has given wisdom for natural remedies and vitamins which may be used with thanksgiving. Yet we pray also that the Lord would give her peace to cast her fear upon Him, and grant her and your family wisdom to be good stewards of the body He has given, seeking such help as is needful while trusting not in man but in the Lord who heals. May He ease her pain, restore strength to her limb, and guard her heart from anxiety.

For your entire family we pray for health and wellbeing in body and soul. We ask that each one may be called from darkness into marvelous light, with eyes opened to the celestial light and ears ready to listen to the Divine command, for that is the vital question beyond all bodily health. May your household know the forgiveness, freedom and favor that come only through Jesus Christ, furnished abundantly from His flock and from His threshing floor and winepress, not grudgingly but with the generosity of the Covenant.

For your pets we also pray, for the Lord cares for all His creatures. We ask that He would keep them from harm and from eating what would injure them, and that He would give you wisdom to guard them. We pray for their wellbeing and that they may be a comfort to you.

May the Lord hear this prayer according to His will. We commend you to Him who said, Father forgive them, and who committed His spirit into the Father's hands, trusting that as you commit yourself and your loved ones into those same hands, you will find pardon, cleansing, and a freedom that no chain can any longer hold.

Thank you for sharing these burdens so honestly. I join you in bringing them before God, who hears and who desires to bring freedom, healing and holiness through Jesus Christ alone.

For your struggle with maladaptive daydreaming and sexual addiction, I pray that God would grant you true deliverance. Scripture calls us to purity of conscience and to life in righteousness and holiness of truth, not in figure but in reality through Christ. These struggles do not define you, but God does not leave us to remain in them. He calls us to turn from what entangles us, to renew our minds by His Word, and to walk in purity with all purity in thought, imagination and deed. I pray that He would give you strength to flee what tempts you, to fix your mind on what is true and holy, to despise sin rather than be ruled by it, and to find comfort not in escape but in communion with Christ. May He give you a clear conscience, daily grace to resist, and faithful help from other believers who can walk with you, encourage you and hold you accountable. If these patterns feel deeply rooted, please consider also seeking wise pastoral counsel and trusted help in your local church.

For your mother, I pray for mercy and healing for her leg and for relief from pain that has lasted so long. I pray that God would calm fear in her heart and give her wisdom for the right next steps for her health. Natural remedies and vitamins can be helpful, but I pray that she would also have courage and peace to receive the care she needs, and that the Lord would guide her and your family with discernment and provision in all health decisions.

I also pray for your entire family, for health and wellbeing in body and soul, for protection, for unity and for growth in faith and love toward Christ and toward one another.

And I pray for your pets, that God in His kindness would protect them from harm, keep them from eating what would hurt them, and grant them wellbeing and happiness under your care.

Let us pray together:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy. Grant freedom from every chain of impure thought and habit, and renew this mind by Your Spirit. Create a clean heart and restore joy in Your salvation. Teach a life that is an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. Bring healing to this mother, ease her pain, take away fear, and grant wisdom to her and her family. Watch over this whole household and these beloved pets, and keep them in Your care. Lead all into deeper trust in Christ, for there is no other hope of salvation. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, stay close to a faithful local church, and bring these needs before Him with confidence that He is able to deliver and to keep.
