Neither the landlord, the contact person, the owner nor the team has shown any remorse regarding the life-threatening electrical issues, but has instead asked the electricians to fake the report and write that everything works well.

I showed them pictures of the electric shocks I received while showering, which left my skin wounded. I also have medical reports stating that I have experienced this.

They have never apologised or empathised with me. They haven't offered me compensation or a new place to live.

All they do is block communication, make threats and refuse payment.

In the mighty name of Jesus, please continue to pray for an end to sadistic and antisocial tendencies and for an end to all unscrupulous behaviour, irresponsibility and avoidance.

May this situation be turned around and may they show remorse, apologise and pay compensation with due respect

The electrical system is life-threatening and needs urgent repairs. This has been documented by an electrician. Upon being informed about the electric shocks, medical treatment, hotel showers, etc., the lawyer representing the landlord wrote again to demand fees and to state that we do not deserve “comfort” or repairs, but rather forced eviction.
These words and attitude appear to be dangerous and psychologically damaging. The fact that she equates “comfort” with a “life-threatening issue” reveals a deeply disturbed heart and mind. Please pray for her and this situation in Jesus' name.

Update: Despite the apartment being uninhabitable and clean and ready for the keys to be handed in, the landlord is threatening legal action. Please pray that his heart is softened and that he is open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Update: Please continue to pray for these people who have not apologised to me or compensated me after nearly three months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We have heard your cry and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus, grieving with you over the evil and hardness you have endured. To suffer life threatening electric shocks while showering, to carry wounds on your skin and medical reports confirming your trauma, and then to be met not with remorse or help but with deception, blocked communication, threats, and demands for payment is a grave injustice. We weep with you over the lowest morale and violent opposition you have faced, and we bring this entire situation to the Lord who sees all things.

The Lord does not overlook such unscrupulous behavior. He is a God of justice and mercy, and He calls those in positions of power to act righteously. We are reminded in Micah 6:8 that He has shown you what is good and what Yahweh requires of you, to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. When a landlord, a contact person, an owner, and even a lawyer choose to fake reports, to equate a life threatening electrical failure with mere comfort, and to threaten forced eviction instead of providing a safe dwelling, they reveal a heart hardened against both God and neighbor. Scripture warns that The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding Proverbs 9:10, and we pray earnestly that the fear of God would indeed fall upon them, breaking their pride and awakening their conscience.

We also hear your prayer that God would turn their hearts of stone into hearts of flesh, and we join you in that. We pray as Ezekiel 36:26 promises, that God would give them a new heart and put a new spirit within them, that He would take away the stony heart out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh. Only He can break through psychopathy, lack of remorse, and sadistic tendencies. We ask that the Holy Spirit would convict them deeply, that they would no longer be able to hide behind lies and threats, but would be compelled to confess, to apologize with sincerity, and to make just restitution and compensation with due respect. We pray that their avoidance and irresponsibility would be ended and that truth would be established by the documented evidence of the electrician and your medical reports.

At the same time we encourage you to guard your own heart in this long trial, now nearly three months since you moved out and still without apology or compensation. It is right to seek justice, and the Lord commands us to Seek justice, relieve the oppressed Isaiah 1:17. It is also right to pursue lawful protection through proper authorities and godly counsel, for God has ordained authorities to restrain evil and uphold what is good. Continue to keep every record, every picture, every medical report and electrician documentation, and seek wise and honest legal guidance so that your case is handled with integrity. Do not return to what is uninhabitable and dangerous, for your life is precious to God.

Yet we must also exhort you not to let bitterness take root. We know the temptation to be consumed by anger when you have been so deeply wounded and threatened, even facing legal action after you left the apartment clean and ready. But we are called to not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good Romans 12:21, and to remember that Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. Yahweh is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. We pray that He would heal your body from the shocks, heal your mind from the psychological damage of these cruel words and threats, and restore your peace and morale which has been brought so low. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32. Forgiveness does not mean excusing their evil or forgoing just compensation, it means releasing them into God's hands for judgment and mercy, trusting that He is the righteous Judge.

We lift you and we lift them together now in prayer.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, for there is no other name by which we can approach You and be saved. We thank You that You see what has been done in secret, the faked reports, the threats, the denial of danger, the wounded skin and the suffering. Lord, You are just and Your work is perfect, for all Your ways are justice Deuteronomy 32:4. We ask You to intervene in this landlord dispute with Your mighty hand. Expose every lie, establish the truth, and move upon every authority and legal process so that justice is done without further threat or oppression. Provide for our dear one who has suffered, heal their body and mind, supply every need for safe housing and for the costs incurred for medical treatment and hotel showers, and let no weapon formed against them prosper.

We pray for the landlord, the contact person, the owner, the team, and the lawyer. Have mercy upon them, Lord, and grant them repentance. Take away their hard hearts and give them hearts of flesh that can feel remorse, that can apologize truthfully, and that can pay what is justly owed. Let the fear of God come upon them so they turn from violent opposition and unscrupulous ways and walk in reverence before You. Soften the landlord's heart that he would be open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and convict the lawyer who called life threatening danger mere comfort. Turn this situation around for Your glory, that even those who have done evil might hear Your call, submit to You, and be saved.

We ask for Your peace to guard this wounded heart, for renewed strength and hope, and for a swift and righteous resolution. We trust You to repay and to restore, and we rest in Your unfailing love. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

It is understandable you are longing for acknowledgment and for what is right to be done, and also feeling the weight of hardness that has not softened. Wanting accountability and wanting peace in your own heart are not opposite. You can continue to seek a fair and lawful resolution while also asking God to help you release the bitterness that can build when justice feels delayed. That release does not mean pretending harm did not happen or having to restore a relationship, it is simply a way to guard your own heart as you walk this out.

A couple of steady next steps may help as you keep praying. If you have not already, keep one organized file with your photos, medical notes, the electrician's written assessment, and any letters from the landlord or lawyer, and let a trusted person know where it is. For the questions of habitability and compensation, a local tenant advice service or legal aid office can help you understand your options so you do not have to face the pressure alone. Your affliction has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard with sorrow the trial you have endured. To receive wounds from shocks while seeking only the common mercies of water and shelter, to have those wounds attested by medical report and yet to meet with no apology, no compassion, no offer of safe habitation, but rather threats, the blocking of all communication, the refusal of what is due, and the demand to falsify the report and call evil good, is a grievous injustice. The Lord who is light and in whom is no darkness at all beholds all that is done in secret, and He is not deceived.

We join you in prayer, and we pray as you have asked, in the mighty name of Jesus, that the hardness you describe would be broken. We pray that the fear of God would fall upon those who have dealt so unscrupulously, who have called a life threatening danger by the name of comfort, and who have pursued eviction rather than mercy. Scripture teaches us that God is slow to anger and great in power, slow even to threaten, stretching out His hand long before wrath is revealed, but He is also infinitely just and will not hold communion with iniquity. We therefore pray not that God would bless unholy dealings, but that He would grant repentance. May He take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh, that those who have shown no remorse may be brought to see that He is great in justice, to bow in penitence and to honor that justice, to confess what is true and to deal honestly before Him who knows all things.

For you who have suffered, we pray for healing and for deliverance. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions, and there is healing in His wings for all who look to Him. You have no need to go elsewhere for peace, but to have immediate dealings with God Himself, the great Physician. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, to show us that pardon and healing are one in His hand. We pray that as you seek Him, you would know both the forgiveness that quiets the conscience and the healing that restores the body, that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon you with healing, that the agitation of your bosom would be calmed, and that you would be kept in safety.

We pray also for that which is just and needful in this earthly matter. May the Lord who visited His people Israel and lifted the weight of His hand when He forgave, also in His providence make manifest the truth concerning this dwelling. May He restrain every threat and every false report, may He move those in authority to act with honesty, to provide what is due, to make compensation where harm has been done, and to open a way for you to dwell in safety and peace. May those who have been irresponsible be made responsible, and may every scheme to avoid what is right be brought to nothing.

We pray that you would be kept from bitterness while you wait, and that you would cast your whole care upon Christ who saw the fevered and the palsied with a deeply sympathetic heart and touched them with a healing hand. He thought so much of immortal souls that He left Heaven with all its glories and endured suffering and shame that He might deliver souls from going down into the pit. He is still the same, quick to relieve, mighty to save.

We will continue to bear you up before the throne, asking that the Lord would turn this situation toward righteousness, that He would grant you health, a secure habitation, and justice with mercy, and that He would bring all concerned to honest dealing with Himself, that they may seek to live soberly, righteously and godly, and find pardon through the finished work of Christ. It is right to bring this before God, for He sees what is done in secret and He will not overlook injustice.

We continue to pray for you, that God in His mercy would heal your body, guard your life, restore your peace, and provide for you a safe dwelling and just resolution. We pray that the truth that has been documented by the electrician and by your medical reports would be brought to light, and that those who have blocked communication and refused what is due would no longer be able to hide what is life threatening under the name of comfort.

We also pray for the landlord, the owner, the contact person, the team and the lawyer, not that God would bless their threats or their irresponsibility, but that He would break through their hardness. Scripture warns that when a person is not softened by goodness and is not turned back by fear, his heart becomes hard, and he treasures up for himself wrath against the day when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. God has shown long suffering and calls all to repentance, but He is also the righteous Judge who will give to each according to what he has done. We pray that the fear of God would come upon them, that they would see the seriousness of endangering a life and of calling evil good.

We pray that God would give them a heart of flesh in place of a heart of stone, that they would hear His call and submit to Him. True repentance is more than words or tears. As Esau sought the blessing with tears yet found no place of repentance because his heart was not truly turned, so also a mere show of regret without a change of deeds is empty. We pray for real repentance in them, a godly sorrow that leads to confession, to apology, to turning from unscrupulous and violent ways, and to making restitution where it is owed. May they cease from avoidance and deceit, and may they act with honesty, responsibility and respect.

We ask the Lord to turn this situation around according to His justice and mercy. May He soften what is hard, restrain what is threatening, and move those in authority to act rightly so that what is dangerous is repaired and what is owed is paid. May He comfort you who have waited nearly three months without apology or compensation, and may He keep you from bitterness while you trust Him to be your defender.

We will keep praying that God would grant you protection, provision, and peace, and that He would lead all involved to walk in the light, to love mercy, to do justly, and to come to repentance through Jesus Christ, in whose name alone there is salvation. Your pain has been heard and your persistence in bringing this before the Lord is taken seriously. To suffer electric shocks while showering, to carry wounds on your skin and medical reports that confirm what happened, and then to be met not with care but with denial, threats, demands for payment, and even an attempt to falsify a report, is a heavy and frightening burden. It is understandable that you feel shaken and that you long for acknowledgment, justice and safety.

Scripture shows that God sees the heart behind such actions. Jesus once looked around with anger and grief because of the hardness of hearts that would keep a suffering person from receiving help. God is not fooled by outward appearances or by words on a report. He looks directly into the heart and knows when it is hard, when it clings to what is wrong, and when it refuses to be moved by the harm done to another. To equate a life threatening electrical danger with a mere matter of comfort reveals that hardness.

That is why your prayer for a softened heart and for the fear of God is right. The only true hope in such a situation is repentance. The Bible makes a clear distinction between sorrow that leads to real change and sorrow that does not. One man in Scripture wept bitterly, but not because he was sorry for what he had done. He wept because he had lost the blessing he wanted. His tears were about his loss, not about his wrong. Another king said he was sorry, yet there was no change in his heart, he still held jealousy and still intended harm. That was not repentance.

Godly sorrow is different. It works a change. True repentance means to turn, to think differently, and to act differently. It always shows itself in fruit, in works that demonstrate the change is real. If there is no change, if there is no willingness to tell the truth, to make right what was done wrong, to offer a sincere apology and fair compensation, then there is reason to question whether repentance has happened at all. An apology without change is not repentance, and tears without turning do not bring healing.

So we pray not only for words of apology but for a true work of God inside these people. We pray that God would take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh, a heart that can feel, that can be convicted, that can hear His call and submit to Him. We pray that a healthy fear of God would come upon them, that they would understand that the way of going against what is right is hard and that it is hard to keep resisting what God is pressing upon the conscience. We pray that God would stir willing hearts to do what is right, because when God stirs a heart, people move to do the work of justice and mercy without being forced.

We also pray for you. We ask the Lord to bring healing to your body, peace to your mind after such psychological strain, and provision for what you have lost. We ask Him to protect you from further threats and to guide you in wise and lawful steps to seek safety and justice, while you continue to entrust vengeance and judgment to Him. He saw what happened in that apartment, He saw the attempts to hide the truth, and He will not overlook it. As with the people of Nineveh, when God sees a genuine turning, He shows mercy, but without that turning, judgment remains.

May the Spirit of God continue to work in your heart as well, to keep you open before Him, to refresh you with His Word, and to conform your life more to Jesus through this trial. May He bring lasting change in those who have harmed you, not just sorrow over consequences, but a real turning that is shown in honest actions, respect, and restitution.
