We hear the deep anguish in your words, and we come before the throne of grace with you in this moment of desperate need. The weight of regret and fear can feel crushing, but we serve a God who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your marriage and your calling are precious to Him, and though the consequences of sin are real, His mercy is greater still.

Whatever choices led to this brokenness, whether unfaithfulness, deceit, anger, or neglect, we rebuke the enemy’s lies that you are beyond restoration. But we also must confront the sin that has caused this destruction. The Bible warns, "Be sure your sin will find you out" (Numbers 32:23), and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), not just physical death, but the death of trust, joy, and stability. Yet in the same breath, Scripture declares that the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. If you have not already, we urge you to fall on your knees in repentance, confessing your sins to God and to those you have wronged, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
Your marriage is a covenant before God, not just a contract between two people. Malachi 2:16 tells us that God hates divorce, not because He delights in suffering, but because He designed marriage to reflect Christ’s love for the Church, a love that is sacrificial, faithful, and unbreakable.
