Speak Life

Disciple of Prayer
I still want to praise our Lord Jesus Christ because I saw who cares about me and who doesn’t. However, my position will be eliminated effectively next week (Friday will be my last day). They were unable to actually fire me since I didn’t do anything wrong so the only explanation was that my position didn’t work for the organization. I ask that you keep me in your prayers because I know this is a result of slander and I’m afraid for my family’s future since I’m the primary breadwinner. I ask for strength, mercy, grace, forgiveness, and resilience. I don’t know what the future holds but I ask that God provide. Now, I was asked if I still want to volunteer time and I did say yes (I hope not to regret this later). The reason I said yes is because I have a notary certification and many people can’t afford to certify their legal documents (the agency also does have anyone who has been able to pass the test so that left me as the only option at this time). They have an event tonight so I didn’t want people to be punished for the choices of others. I ask that all of you pray that I have wisdom to handle the next week’s events and that they don’t try to talk down to me for the time I have left. I appreciate all of your support and I hope God keeps all of you safe.

We are truly grateful for your heart of praise and service to our Lord Jesus Christ, even in the midst of these challenging circumstances. It is commendable that you desire to continue volunteering your time and skills to help others, even as you face uncertainty in your own life. Let us turn to the Word of God for guidance and encouragement in this situation.

The Bible reminds us in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even though you are facing a difficult time, we trust that God is sovereign and will use this situation for your good and His glory. It is also written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a plan for you and your family, and He will provide for your needs.

We understand your concern about the slander that may have led to this situation. The Bible has strong words for those who engage in such behavior. Psalm 101:5 says, "Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy. Whoever has a haughty look and a proud heart, him I will not endure." We pray that God will deal with those who have spoken falsely against you and that He will vindicate you.

As you navigate this week, we encourage you to lean on the strength of the Lord. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." God is with you, and He will give you the wisdom and strength you need to face each day.

We also encourage you to continue seeking God's will in prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Cast your anxieties on Him, and trust that He will provide for you and your family.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother to You, asking for Your strength, mercy, grace, forgiveness, and resilience to be upon him during this challenging time. Lord, we ask that You provide for his needs and the needs of his family, for You know that he is the primary breadwinner. We pray that You will guide his steps and open doors of opportunity for him. Give him wisdom to handle the events of the coming week and protect him from any further harm or disrespect.

We ask that You deal with those who have slandered him and that You vindicate him, Lord. We pray that You will expose any darkness and bring Your light and truth to the situation. We also ask that You bless his decision to continue volunteering his time and skills to help others. May You use him to be a blessing to many, and may You richly bless him in return.

Lord, we thank You that You are sovereign and that You work all things together for good for those who love You. We trust in Your plan for his life and the life of his family. We ask that You give him peace that surpasses all understanding and that You guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus and to trust in His provision. We believe that God will use this situation for your good and His glory. May you continue to seek His will and to serve Him with all your heart. We are standing with you in prayer and support. God bless you and keep you safe.

We're right there with you, standing in faith and prayer. We understand the uncertainty you're facing, but remember, God is faithful. He's promised in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Trust that He will provide for you and your family, just as He has in the past.

We're also praying for wisdom for you this week. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we're told, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." We believe that God will give you the wisdom you need to navigate this week's events.

And hey, if you ever need someone to talk to or pray with, we're here for you. Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, knowing that our God is faithful and true.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to lift you up in this difficult season and thank you for allowing us the honor of bringing your burdens before the Lord alongside you. Your heart for others—even in the midst of your own trial—is a testament to the love of Christ working in you, and we praise God for the way He is using you to serve even now. The fact that you chose to volunteer despite the hurt you’ve endured speaks volumes about your character and your trust in the Father’s provision.

We’ve been praying earnestly for God’s justice, protection, and provision over you and your family as the primary provider. The enemy may have intended this for harm, but we declare that God will turn it for good (Genesis 50:20). We ask Him to expose any slander, to shut the mouths of those who seek to discourage or belittle you, and to open doors no man can shut. May He grant you supernatural strength, wisdom, and resilience for the days ahead—especially as you navigate your final week in this position. We pray that every interaction would be covered in grace, that your work would be honored, and that your departure would leave no room for reproach.

Father, we ask You to provide abundantly for this family. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You are faithful to meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Open doors for employment that exceed what was lost—doors that bring not just financial stability but also restoration, purpose, and joy. Give clarity and discernment as opportunities arise, and let Your peace guard their hearts against fear.

We also lift up the event tonight and the days to come. May Your Spirit go before them, softening hearts and making a way for Your will to be done. Protect them from bitterness, and let Your love be their shield. Remind them that even when the path is unclear, You are their Provider, their Defender, and their Good Shepherd.

Brother, we stand with you in this fight. If God has answered in any way—whether through a new opportunity, a moment of peace, or a tangible reminder of His presence—we’d love for you to share a praise report so we can glorify Him together. If the burden still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to post again. We are here to keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting alongside you.

May you feel the nearness of God in these days. May His mercy be new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and may you sense His hand guiding you into the future He has prepared. You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. The Lord sees you, and He is at work.

We love you, and we’re not letting go.

In Jesus’ mighty name.
