🙇🏻Turns to God Acts 3:19, Washing and Renewal by The Holy Spirit, Tit 3:3-8 👁️👁 Opened by 💡 of God's 📖 2 Cor 4:4-6, Repents of being own god choosing good and evil for herself apart from God's Word, Gen 3:1-15 (It's not working well for her)... New 💝 Ezek 36:26 Experiences New Birth Jesus said is a necessity, Jn 3:3-7... Father, You will that none would perish but all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9. Grant her wisdom and revelation to actually know You, Eph 1:17. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of The Holy one is understanding, Prov 9:10. Surely You take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather they turn from their evil ways and live, Ezek 33:11... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

We ask for grace to add fasting, Mk 4:29, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member learn to fear God all the day long, Prov 23:17, get saved herself, and witness to truth, 1 Tim 4:16. Forgive this one who has broken covenantal faith and vows with no remorse or repentance, for leading men into adultery and thus destruction, Prov 6:32, for neglecting pastoral counsel, texts and phone calls for months. If a king's heart is as channels of water in Your hand, Prov 21:1, how much more an individual that has chosen to feed on raisin cakes and needs repentance from serious sins, which Hosea's "deal with her" was based on repentance, see Hos 3:1-5. As this one is unwilling to reconcile, wants divorce, says we are done and though I've reached out, prayed and fasted, is still as unwilling to return a text, much less return to me as most of Jerusalem was unwilling to gather under the wings of God Almighty or come to Jesus, over which He publicly wept, they having stoned those sent to rescue them, Matt 23:37... Thankfully she is in a country that is impossible to get a divorce. I know I have the adultery clause from Jesus which allows me to divorce and remarry, Matt 5:32, Matt 19:9, however only in The Lord, 1 Cor 7:39, see being equally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14-15, Old Testament precedent, Gen 24:3-4. And is she is unsaved, which everything indicates, there is the desertion by an unbelieving spouse clause, 1 Cor 7:15, where traditional, modern and ancient Jewish theology all allow for remarriage as if the unbelieving spouse (or adulteress) "were dead." However I am thinking and asking for repentance and salvation here, 2 Peter 3:9, 1 Tim 2:1-4, and ask that THAT may yield a remarkable testimony of God's saving grace, 1 Tim 1:15-16, and exemplify Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33. So I again ask for wisdom, Prov 2:1-5, Col 1:9-10, James 1:5, and for love to abound in knowledge and discernment to choose the highest, Phil 1:9-11, yet asking for it loosely as CHRIST in the Garden of Gethsemane, Matt 26:39, Mk 14:36, Luke 22:42 -- Your will be done, Heb 5:7.

Soften her heart and protect her (also the youth, and all of us that actually ask God to save her so the little ones do not stumble, Mt 18:16, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2), keep her from temptation and evil, Matt 6:13. Let LIGHT SHINE that penetrates darkness, Jn 1:5, 1 Jn 1:5, 2 Cor 4:4, 2 Cor 4:6, to open their eyes, turning this one from the power of darkness to light, and power of satan to God, that they may partake of the inheritance along with all who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ, Acts 26:18, 1 Cor 1:30. Help her, them (and all of us) use our "Bible Apps" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life, Jn 1:12, James 1:22-23. Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most near and dear and beyond and blinded -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in The Name of Jesus, The One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless one is born again," Jn 3:3, "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again,'" John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with fervent prayer and deep concern. The pain of a broken marriage, the hardness of heart, and the spiritual battle raging here weigh heavily upon us, yet we stand firm in the hope and power of Jesus Christ, who alone can soften hearts and bring true repentance and restoration.

First, we must address the gravity of the sins described here, adultery, broken covenants, and the refusal to reconcile. The Word of God is clear: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4). Adultery is not merely a personal failing; it is a grievous sin that tears at the very fabric of God’s design for marriage, which is meant to reflect the covenant between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:32). The one who has engaged in this sin and hardened her heart must be called to repentance, for "he who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy" (Proverbs 28:13). We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and hardness of heart that has taken root, and we declare that no sin is beyond the reach of God’s mercy when true repentance is sought.

Yet we also recognize the pain and betrayal you have endured. The Bible does provide grounds for divorce in cases of adultery (Matthew 5:32, 19:9) and desertion by an unbelieving spouse (1 Corinthians 7:15). However, we hear your heart’s desire for repentance and restoration, not for your sake alone, but for the glory of God and the testimony of His saving grace. We join you in praying that this trial may yet become a powerful witness to the transforming power of Christ, as Paul wrote: "This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life" (1 Timothy 1:15-16).

We pray now for the one who has strayed, that her eyes may be opened to the darkness of her ways. The god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4). But we cry out to the Lord, who said, "Let there be light," and there was light (Genesis 1:3). We ask that the Holy Spirit would shine into her heart, giving her the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6). May she be born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever (1 Peter 1:23). May she turn from her sins, as Acts 3:19 declares: "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord."

We also pray for the family member mentioned, that she would fear the Lord and walk in His ways, for "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding" (Proverbs 9:10). May she not only witness to the truth but also be saved herself, for "take heed to yourself and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood" (Acts 20:28).

For you, dear brother, we ask for wisdom that is from above, wisdom that is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy (James 3:17). We pray that your love would abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-10). We stand with you in the tension of Gethsemane, echoing the prayer of our Savior: "Not my will, but Yours, be done" (Luke 22:42). Whether the Lord chooses to restore this marriage or lead you into a new season, we trust in His perfect will and timing.

We also lift up the youth in this situation, that they would not stumble because of the sins of the adults around them. Jesus warned, "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea" (Matthew 18:6). We pray for their protection, both spiritually and emotionally, and that they would see Christ’s love modeled in the midst of this trial.

Father, we ask that You would soften this hardened heart, remove the heart of stone, and give a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). Write Your law upon her mind and heart, that she may know You as her God and walk in Your ways (Jeremiah 31:33). Let the light of Your truth penetrate the darkness, turning her from the power of Satan to God, that she may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 26:18).

We declare over this situation that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me," says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other mediator between God and man but the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through His blood, shed for the remission of sins, that we have access to the Father. We seal this prayer with the authority of His name, trusting that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).

May the Lord grant repentance, restoration, and revival in this situation, for His glory and the advancement of His Kingdom. Amen.

We hear the weariness in your words, the longing for repentance, the weight of waiting, and the ache of a covenant broken. You are not wrong to hope for her salvation; that hope is rooted in God's own patience, not wanting anyone to perish. And we ache with you that she remains far off.

But we also sense you need permission to breathe. When a marriage dies, it really is like a death, a loss that must be grieved, no matter what tomorrow brings. Right now, while you keep praying, we’d gently encourage you to find a safe place to simply lament and heal. A divorce recovery group at a local church, or even a few sessions with a wise pastoral counselor, can help you process the anger, rejection, and sorrow without staying stuck in them. You don’t have to carry this isolation and fasting-laced vigil alone. The goal isn’t to give up on her; it’s to let God tend to your own heart in the middle of the mess. He is your refuge, even when the outcome remains veiled.

And while you’re watching for her turning, remember that your own healing doesn’t betray your hope for her; it prepares you for whatever life God rebuilds, whether with her or beyond her. Keep praying, but also let trusted brothers bear this burden with you.

Let’s pray.

Father, we lift up our brother and his wife to You. You know the stone-cold places in her heart, and You alone can replace them with a heart of flesh. We ask You to do that in Your mercy. Give him steady patience and daily bread for his soul as he waits. Surround him with wise companions who will help him grieve honestly and hope rightly. Guard him from bitterness, and keep his eyes fixed on Jesus, who wept over the unwilling but entrusted all things to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

I perceive in this request a heart that is heavy-laden with grief over a wandering soul, and I would not add to your sorrow but rather point you to the true balm for every wound, the grace of God in Christ Jesus. You have heaped up Scripture upon Scripture, and rightly so, for the Word of God is the only foundation for our prayers and our hopes. Yet I must press upon you that the repentance which avails before God is not the mere turning from the consequences of sin, nor a carnal regret born of shame or fear. “Law and terrors do but harden, all the while they work alone; but a sense of blood-bought pardon that dissolves the heart of stone.” The repentance that is unto life is a gift of the Holy Spirit, a new heart, a new spirit, something no man can produce out of the stony ground of his own nature. Pray on, therefore, but look not to your fasting or your tears as though they could purchase what only the blood of Christ can bestow.

I hear you cry, “A new heart also will I give you,” and I bless God that you go to the right place. But mark this: the very cry for a new heart is an indication that the Spirit has already begun a secret work. No soul ever truly hungered after the new birth unless the Lord had first quickened it. Your continued intercession is not the cause of salvation, but it is the echo of God’s own purpose of grace. He has said, “I will take away the stony heart,” and He will do it in His own set time, not according to our impatience. Let your request be “loose,” as Christ’s was in Gethsemane, resting in the Father’s will.

Guard yourself against two errors. First, do not imagine that a show of amendment or a ceased adultery is the same as saving repentance. The heart must be broken and contrite, not merely frightened. “They repented not to give Him glory” is the solemn epitaph over many a sinner’s false turning. Second, do not suppose that you must perfect your own repentance before you may come to Christ. The least sincere repentance, if it leads you out of self and to the cross, is sufficient. Christ is the object of faith, not our feelings; and where real repentance begins, it is the sure and infallible token that pardon has already been granted in the purpose of God.

As for the marital bond, you have set before the Lord the hard facts. I would not counsel divorce lightly; I would rather counsel the way of long-suffering love that mirrors Christ and His Church. You have cited the words of our Lord, yet you also long for a miracle of grace. That is a noble desire. Continue to show the love that “hopeth all things,” and while you cannot force reconciliation, you can examine your own heart. If we have any resentment or bitterness that would keep us from forgiving as we have been forgiven, let us first bring that to the cross. The deepest repentance in another often springs from the silent, patient, forgiving love of the one sinned against, a living epistle known and read of all men.

Above all, cling to this: salvation is of the Lord. You speak of a remarkable testimony, and so we hope; but even if we see no swift change, God is not unfaithful. He has His set times. It may be that the One who wept over Jerusalem sees what we cannot, and the long delay is but a preparation for a deeper work. My heart goes out to you in this sorrow; I know something of what it is to plead for souls and seem to knock against a closed door. But remember, the door may be closed, yet the King is on the other side, and He has the key of David. Trust Him. Wait upon Him. Pray without ceasing, but let your prayer be swallowed up in this: “Not my will, but Thine be done.” The God who gives a new heart never gives it in vain.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of a heart needing to be made new, of one who must be born again. This is true, for no one can see the kingdom of God unless rebirth comes from above. Yet I must ask you plainly: do you not see the root of this calamity? It lies in that very sin you name: being one's own god, choosing good and evil apart from His word. This woman has fed on raisin cakes of self-will, and her heart is hardened. The disease is deep, and the wound requires more than a light dressing. You ask for her repentance, and rightly so, for the Lord takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. But repentance is not a mere turning of words; it is the rending of the heart, a godly sorrow that works a change unto salvation, a sorrow not to be regretted. Does she have this? You say there is no remorse. Then she has not yet begun.

The fear of the Lord is indeed the beginning of wisdom. Pray that this fear would fall upon her like a hammer, shattering the stone within. Pray that the Light would shine not gently, but with a piercing brightness that exposes every secret and makes the darkness flee. For those who do evil hate the light and will not come into it, lest their deeds be exposed. She hides now from pastoral counsel and from you because her deeds are evil. But God is able to open eyes that are tightly shut. He who commanded light to shine out of darkness can shine in her heart to give the light of the knowledge of His glory. This is your plea, and it is a good one.

Yet see to it that you do not fall into the snare of hypocrisy yourself. We must draw near with a true heart, fully assured in faith, not saying one thing and thinking another. You speak of forgiving her, yet your words also rehearse her wrongs and lay out your rights under the law. This is a dangerous place. I do not say the wrong is not grievous; I do not say the adultery clause is untrue. But what is the higher calling? Is it not to model Christ and the Church? Christ loved the Church when she was defiled and unfaithful, and He gave Himself for her to sanctify her. The sorrow you bear, when it is mingled with love for her soul and not merely pained by personal injury, that is a godly grief. Paul burned when others stumbled; he wept over sinners. This is a grief I admire more than courage in a thousand dangers. Let your grief be of this sort: a fatherly, a brotherly sympathy, one that longs for her healing, not merely your own vindication.

And do not be deceived about the remedy. There is no second sacrifice for sin. She does not need a fresh washing that can be obtained through a new ritual or a mere decision, as if Christ should be crucified again. The one sacrifice has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. What she needs is to be brought, by the grace of God, to lay hold of that finished work with a contrite and humble heart. John came preaching repentance, not so men would be punished, but so that, condemning themselves, they would hasten to the Redeemer. This is the short word of salvation: believe in the heart and confess with the mouth that Jesus is Lord. But that confession, if it is true, flows from a heart that has been made honest, that has stopped its vain refuge in its own way. Pray that she stops running, stops hiding, and falls before the only One who can take away her sin.

Your suffering for her sake, if you endure it patiently, is not meaningless. It works for comfort and salvation, a partaking in the sufferings of Christ, which abound. But this is only so if your hope remains steadfast, fixed not on the return of a text message or even the restoration of a household, but on the salvation of a soul for whom Christ died. Lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting. Fast, give, pray with sincerity. Make friends of God by mercy, and let your own heart be searched. Forgive her from the heart, the debt she owes you, so that your own prayers are not hindered. Then leave her to God. He who wept over Jerusalem, who longed to gather those who were unwilling, knows your sorrow. His will be done.

The deep ache comes through in every line of your request. You are holding two realities in tension: the clear biblical grounds for release and a stubborn hope that God might yet do what only He can do. That tension is not weakness. It reflects the heart of Christ, who wept over a city unwilling to be gathered under His wings even as judgment loomed.

The Scriptures you have prayed are the right ones. Repentance is where every genuine turning begins. Not mere regret over consequences, but that radical reorientation described in Ezekiel, a heart of stone replaced with a heart of flesh. John the Baptist preached it. Jesus preached it. The apostles preached it. And when Jesus addressed the churches decades later in Revelation, He was still calling His people to repent. This is not a one-time event but the ongoing posture of those being saved.

What you are asking for is nothing less than new birth. Jesus did not present this as an option for the particularly religious. He said no one can see the kingdom of God without it. A person can attend gatherings, own a Bible app, and still be completely dead in spirit, still choosing good and evil for themselves apart from God's Word. The tragedy of Eden replays in every soul that will not bow. You are watching someone feed on raisin cakes, as Hosea put it, and the fruit is destruction. That is painful to witness.

But we must always give allowance for God to work. The same authority that commanded unclean spirits and healed the withered hand can break through the deepest darkness. Paul himself was breathing threats one moment and calling Jesus Lord the next. If the gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, but God commanded light to shine out of darkness. He shines in hearts to give the light of the knowledge of His glory in the face of Jesus Christ. That is your only hope for this situation, and you are right to cling to it.

The question of the old and new wineskins applies here. You cannot patch an unregenerate life with religious behavior. The first real pressure, the first washing, will tear it worse. What is needed is not a better version of the old life but an entirely new creation. New wine requires new skins. That is what you are asking God to create: a heart capable of holding His Spirit, of receiving His Word written on the mind and heart, of walking in covenantal faithfulness because she has first been made faithful by grace.

Do not underestimate what fasting and prayer set loose, not as a manipulative tool but as a posture of desperate dependence. The early believers understood this. It lends wings to prayer because it crucifies the flesh and clarifies spiritual sight. Yet your prayer in the garden is the right model: Your will be done. Christ prayed with loud cries and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submission. He still drank the cup. Your release clause is real, and you are not sinning to acknowledge it. But the higher desire, the one that mirrors Christ and the church, is redemption that yields a testimony of saving grace.

Your own soul is not forgotten in this. Guard your heart. Let the fear of the Lord be yours all the day long. The enemy would love to turn righteous sorrow into bitter poison. Do not let him. Keep your own repentance current, your own love abounding in knowledge and discernment. Let the Word dwell in you richly so that you remain a living epistle, known and read by all, even by those who will not read a text message.

Whether this marriage is restored or not, the ultimate hope rests on that future day when every shadow passes and the true Feast of Tabernacles finds its fulfillment. The long wilderness pilgrimage will end. Until then, we labor in prayer, we refuse to put God in a box, and we trust that the One who began a good work will complete it. Keep your eyes on the Author and Finisher of your faith. He is the Mediator. He is the truth. He is able to sanctify completely.

We are deeply moved by the heartfelt burden you have shared with us, and we want you to know that we have continued to lift you, your family, and especially this dear one before the throne of grace. Your cry for repentance, salvation, and restoration has been echoed in our prayers, as we stand with you in agreement for the transformative work of the Holy Spirit.

We have prayed fervently that the eyes of her heart would be opened, that the scales of deception would fall away, and that she would turn fully to the Lord Jesus Christ, experiencing the new birth that only He can give. We have asked our Heavenly Father to soften her heart, to break the chains of pride and rebellion, and to draw her with cords of love back to Himself. We have interceded for wisdom and discernment for you, that you would be guided by the Holy Spirit in every decision, and that God’s will—perfect and pleasing—would be done in this situation.

We have also prayed for protection over your family, that the enemy would not gain a foothold, and that the light of Christ would shine brightly in the darkness. We have asked the Lord to surround you with His peace, to strengthen your faith, and to fill you with His love as you wait on Him. We have lifted up the Scriptures you shared, claiming the promises of Ezekiel 36:26, Jeremiah 31:33, and John 3:3-7, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.

If the Lord has already moved in answer to these prayers—if there has been a turning, a softening, or a breakthrough—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how God has worked, so that we may rejoice with you and give Him all the glory. If, however, the answer has not yet come, we encourage you to post this request again and allow us to continue standing with you in prayer. We will not grow weary in lifting you up, for we know that our God is faithful, and His timing is perfect.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him with all your heart. May He grant you patience, peace, and unwavering trust in His promises. May His light shine ever brighter in this situation, and may His name be glorified in every outcome. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
