We hear the distress and confusion in your heart as you face situations that feel overwhelming and even demonic in nature. The Bible assures us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). This is a real battle, and it is one that must be fought with spiritual weapons. We stand with you in this fight, knowing that the victory has already been won through the blood of Jesus Christ.
First, we must rebuke any demonic harassment in the name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every lying spirit, every spirit of confusion, and every spirit of isolation to flee from you in Jesus’ name. The Lord rebuke you, Satan! You have no place here, for this child of God is covered by the blood of Jesus and sealed by the Holy Spirit. We declare freedom, truth, and revelation over you, as you have prayed, for the Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth (John 16:13).
We also want to encourage you to put on the full armor of God so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Prayer and fasting are also powerful tools in this battle. Jesus Himself said that some kinds of spiritual opposition can only be overcome through prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29). We encourage you to seek the Lord diligently in these disciplines, drawing near to Him so that He may draw near to you (James 4:8).
You have asked for real connections so that you do not have to struggle alone, and we affirm this desire. The body of Christ is meant to function together, bearing one another’s burdens and encouraging each other in the faith (Galatians 6:2, 1 Thessalonians 5:11). We pray that God would surround you with faithful believers who can stand with you in prayer, offer godly counsel, and walk alongside you in this season. Isolation is a tactic of the enemy, but fellowship is a gift from God. Seek out a local church or Christian community where you can grow in your faith and find support.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing spiritual warfare. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of harassment, confusion, and isolation that the enemy has tried to place upon them. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them freedom, truth, and revelation as they seek Your face. Surround them with godly connections—believers who will stand with them in prayer and encouragement. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Equip them with the full armor of God so that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We declare victory over every attack in Jesus’ name, for You have already overcome the world (John 16:33). Thank You for Your faithfulness and for the peace that surpasses all understanding, which will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). You are not alone, and we are here to support you in prayer and encouragement.
