We stand in agreement with this heartfelt plea for true laborers to be raised up for the care of orphans, the elderly, and the edification of the Church. Your prayer aligns deeply with Scripture, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the Lord, for His glory and the advancement of His Kingdom.

The need for workers in God’s harvest is urgent, as Jesus Himself declared: "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest" (Matthew 9:37-38 WEB). We echo this cry, asking the Lord to raise up men and women of unwavering faith, like those who have gone before us in the faith, who will found orphanages, schools, and ministries rooted in sound doctrine. May their lives reflect the goal of love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5 WEB).

We also take seriously your plea for protection against deception, false teaching, and the schemes of the enemy. The Word warns us: "For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables" (2 Timothy 4:3-4 WEB). We pray that believers would be diligent in studying Scripture, accurately handling the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15 WEB), and standing firm against the father of lies (John 8:44 WEB). May the Church be washed and sanctified by the Word (John 17:17 WEB), overcoming the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11 WEB).

We rebuke every spirit of deception and falsehood that seeks to infiltrate the Church. The gates of hell shall not prevail against Christ’s Church (Matthew 16:18 WEB), and we declare that the Gospel will go forth boldly and unhindered. We pray for the Church to be kept from evil, strengthened in faith, and made ready for the return of the Bridegroom, clothed in the righteous acts of the saints (Revelation 19:7-8 WEB).

Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB), and it is only through Him that we have access to You. We ask that You would raise up laborers who are fully surrendered to Christ, walking in holiness and truth. Guard Your people from those who profess to know You but deny You by their deeds (Titus 1:16 WEB). Strengthen the faithful to stand firm, to study Your Word, and to live lives that bring glory to Your name.

Lord, we pray for the orphans and the elderly, that they would experience Your love and provision through the hands and feet of Your people. May the Church rise up to care for the least of these (Matthew 25:40 WEB), reflecting Your heart of compassion. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we don’t give up (Galatians 6:9 WEB).

We declare that the Gospel will advance, that souls will be saved, and that Your Kingdom will come on earth as it is in heaven. Keep us from the evil one, and use us as vessels of Your truth and love. May we be found faithful when Christ returns, having kept the faith and finished the race (2 Timothy 4:7 WEB).

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been joining our hearts with yours for the people you’ve lifted up, for the orphaned, the elderly, and the believers who long to see Christ’s church built strong and pure. Your prayer for God to raise up faithful laborers who will truly love, guard sound teaching, and protect the vulnerable is the kind of cry He welcomes.

What stays with us is the deep care behind the ask. You’re not just naming needs; you’re interceding with a fierce hope that God’s truth will take root in a place that faces real spiritual pressure. That matters. The enemy works to discourage and distract, but Christ’s promise remains solid: He builds His church, and He sends workers into His harvest. Your prayer stands with that promise.

One steady, practical way to keep this burden alive is to connect with others who share it. Look for a prayer fellowship or a mission group that already has a presence in the region you’re praying for, even a few committed intercessors. Learning what they see on the ground can turn your intercession from a large, general longing into something that lands on specific doors, names, and obstacles. That kind of shared prayer often brings both clarity and fresh courage.

Right now, we simply rest with you in asking Him who sends laborers.

Lord Jesus, in Your name we ask: send workers into that harvest who have pure hearts, good consciences, and a sincere faith. Guard the little ones and the aged; expose every lie that tries to creep in. Strengthen the believers who are already holding the line there, and give them faithful co-laborers. Let Your church rise in that place, untroubled by fear, holding fast to Your word. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer that has ascended for true labourers, for the raising up of orphanages and schools founded upon the eternal verities of the Word, and for the purity and preservation of the church in those distant parts, finds a ready echo in every heart that beats with love to the Crucified. The great Husbandman must send forth His own servants into His harvest; all good Seed comes out of God's granary, and if we preach, it must be the true Word of God or nothing can come of it. The doctrine that is according to godliness, the good old plan of the Doctrine of Grace, is that which moulds the thoughts, stamps the character, and fills the soul with joy even in the midst of affliction. It is not a doctrine that makes men gloomy; it is the very wellspring of courage, for it makes a man bold to say, "My God shall hear me."

Yet many a true labourer knows what it is to have a weak heart, especially in times of temptation and when looking upon the desolations of Zion. The heart sometimes fails, and then God bids him be of good courage, and He shall strengthen his heart. A sense of our own poverty, of the chaff and rubbish within, drives us to pour out our soul before the living God, and there we learn that every true heart-prayer first came from God Himself. The preparation of the heart and the answer of the tongue are alike from Him. So we plead with confidence that the Lord would take away the stony heart from those He is calling, and give them a heart of flesh, living, warm, sensitive, tender, that they may labour in a right spirit, with a good conscience and a sincere faith.

The gates of hell shall never prevail against the church which Jesus builds. He has purchased every acre of that farm with the bloody sweat of His own heart. Therefore, when deceivers arise, as they must, we are kept not by our own wisdom but by the washing of the water of the Word, by the blood of the Lamb, and by the sweet constraint of the love of Christ. The heart of Jesus, so meek and lowly, draws the hearts of men. This is the antidote to the serpent's lies. Let the saints in that place study to show themselves approved, accurately handling the Word of truth, and let them count it all joy to be kept from the evil one, for the love of God surpasses all the kindness of men. Be not troubled with suppositions and inventions; look your fears in the face, and in the light of the Cross they will vanish. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth His own. Fear not; only believe, and diligently sow the good Seed, for God alone can give the increase.

The petition for true laborers, for men to care for orphans and the elderly, for the edification of the Church, lays hold of the very heart of the apostolic office. You ask for those with faith like the patriarchs to found schools teaching true doctrine, and this is a noble and necessary groan. For consider the disorder we have made, where the names of priests are linked to the management of lands and money, when they should be named from the feeding of the hungry, the protection of the injured, the care of strangers, and providing for orphans. The care of widows and orphans is precisely the work that should be distributed amongst us, the very badge of a true shepherd. When you pray for laborers into his harvest whose goal is love from a pure heart, you are praying against the swelling pride that seeks its own glory, and for those who will stoop low, as Christ did, trampling down all pride because He came from God and went to God.

You ask that the gates of hell not restrain the Church, and that believers be guarded from deception. This is a prayer for the double wall of teaching and prayer. Rightly do you cry out for men to be strengthened to handle the Word accurately. For the command to give attendance to reading the divine Scriptures is given even to a Timothy, so that we might be instructed not to neglect this study. The washing of the sanctifying Word is the only antidote to the serpent’s lies, for believers are kept not by their own power but by the Spirit abiding in them. When Christ prayed, "I pray for them," He asked that we be kept in the Father’s name. The knowing of the truth, the learning that all His teachings are from the Father, is our safeguard against the one who spews forth deception.

You lament that the laborers are few and ask the Lord of the harvest to send them forth. Do not be troubled that the few seem insufficient, for Christ did not immediately add to the number of the twelve, but made them many by giving them power. When He saw the multitudes scattered as sheep without a shepherd, He commanded us to pray for laborers, and He answers that prayer by anointing the workers He sends. This is not a work of mere human arrangement but of divine calling. The true goal of every such laborer, every teacher of pure doctrine, is not to please himself but the weak, for his good, unto edification. Such a one will know the goal is love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith.

Therefore, continue in this prayer with boldness. Do not cease to ask for laborers who understand that their office is tied to the care of the desolate and the teaching of sound doctrine. For God, who sees the multitudes weary and scattered, will raise up men whose names will not be borrowed from the houses of secular men, but will be spoken of for their tenderness to orphans and their fidelity to the Word. The prayer you have offered is itself a labor in the harvest, asking the Lord to do what He has promised.

What a powerful and Scripture-soaked petition you have brought before the throne. It echoes the very compassion of Jesus when He saw the multitudes weary and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd. That stirring of the heart is no accident; it is the Lord of the harvest moving you to ask exactly what He longs to give. When you pray for laborers to be thrust into that field, you are aligning your words with His own command, and that is a mighty place to stand.

The aim you have lifted up is the right one: love that flows from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith. Any work among orphans, the elderly, or the edification of believers must have that as its foundation, or it becomes hollow activity. If God raises up men in that region with faith like the patriarchs of old, their first mark will be a life shaped by sound doctrine. They will not traffic in the latest fads or fables that swirl through the church, promising wealth or a trouble-free existence, but will prove themselves faithful stewards of the mysteries of God. They will give themselves to reading, to exhortation, and to teaching the whole counsel of God, knowing that in doing so they will save both themselves and those who hear them.

Your plea for protection from deceivers is equally crucial. In these last days, the enemy does not always attack with an outright denial of the faith; more often he offers a subtle counterfeit. There is a form of godliness that denies its power, a way of professing to know God while living in a way that contradicts Him. The ancient serpent is still at work, seeking to introduce leaven into the lump, whether through teachings that cast a stumbling block before God’s people by mingling the holy with the profane, or through a creeping return to a class of religious professionals who lord it over the laity. That is why the apostolic charge to take heed to oneself and to the doctrine rings so loudly. When believers diligently study the Word to see whether these things are so, they are fortified against the lie.

And what a solid confidence you have anchored in: Jesus is building His church, and the gates of hell will not withstand it. Not even death itself can restrain His new creation. That does not mean the building will be without conflict, but it does mean the outcome is certain. The church makes herself ready through the righteous acts that Christ has worked in His saints, and those acts are always the fruit of abiding in Him and His words abiding in us. It is the washing of water with the word that cleanses and beautifies His bride.

Do not think of yourself as distant from this work. When you bow the knee and labor like this in prayer, you are a true yokefellow with those who go. The reward is not divided by role; together we share in the joy of the harvest. The one who prays faithfully is just as much a laborer as the one who holds the plow. So continue to ask the Lord of the harvest, and meanwhile, keep a tight rein on your own life and doctrine. Be an example in your manner of living and in purity, and you will not only be guarded from evil but become part of the very answer you are seeking.

The promise stands that the Lord God of the holy prophets makes known things that must shortly take place. The sayings are faithful and true. Let that certainty fuel your intercession. The gospel will run and be glorified, the true riches of good works will be distributed to the needy, and the witness that goes forth from a steadfast church will be found to the praise and honor of Jesus Christ. May He strengthen you and every heart that joins in this cry, until the earth is filled with the doctrine of Christ as the waters cover the sea.
