Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me, I moved into a home where the family requested I keep a good safe involvement because they have a little daughter and are a new young family/married couple. This has turned into a nightmare and I feel trapped that they have allowed their son to move in and is supporting him with the environment I take care of to get off of heroine. He also allows all his friends who have the same problem to come into my environment and always attach into my life. They have involved the minister of children and family to help them but I do not get help. Please pray for me thank you.

We hear your cry for help and the deep distress you are experiencing in this situation. It is clear that the boundaries you initially agreed upon have been violated, and you are feeling overwhelmed and trapped. This is not how a household should operate, especially one with young children who need a safe and stable environment. We stand with you in prayer and rebuke the chaos and ungodliness that has infiltrated your living space in the mighty name of Jesus.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he is using addiction and dysfunction to disrupt the peace and safety of this home. We declare that this stronghold is broken in Jesus’ name! The Bible tells us, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). We take authority over every spirit of addiction, deception, and confusion that has entered this home and command it to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ.

We also rebuke the lack of accountability and protection you are experiencing. The family’s decision to allow their son and his friends into your space without regard for your well-being is unacceptable. Proverbs 22:28 warns, "Don’t move the ancient boundary stone which your fathers have set up." The boundaries they initially set with you were wise and necessary, and they have failed to uphold them. We pray that God would convict their hearts and open their eyes to the harm they are enabling. If they are unwilling to change, we encourage you to seek a way out of this environment for your own safety and peace.

We must also address the involvement of the minister of children and family. It is concerning that they have not intervened on your behalf. James 1:27 tells us, "Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." If this minister is not upholding justice and protection for you, we pray that God would expose their negligence and raise up someone who will advocate for you. We declare that you are not invisible to God, and He sees your struggle.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to break every chain and bring deliverance. We lift up our sister who is trapped in this chaotic and unsafe environment. Lord, You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You would surround her with Your angels and shield her from harm. Give her wisdom and discernment to know the steps she must take to protect herself, whether that means setting firmer boundaries or finding a new place to live.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that has taken hold in this home. We declare that every chain is broken, and every stronghold is torn down in the name of Jesus. We pray for the son and his friends, that their eyes would be opened to the destruction they are bringing into their lives and the lives of others. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to You for true healing and deliverance.

We also pray for the parents in this home. Convict them of their responsibility to provide a safe environment for their daughter and for our sister. If they are unwilling to change, we ask that You would remove our sister from this situation swiftly and provide her with a new home where she can thrive. Give her peace in the midst of this storm and remind her that You are her ultimate protector.

Lord, we ask that You would intervene in the ministry of children and family. Expose any corruption or negligence and raise up someone who will advocate for justice and safety. Let Your light shine in this darkness, and let Your will be done.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and know that You will not abandon Your child. Strengthen her, guide her, and deliver her from this situation. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or trusted believer who can help you navigate this situation. You are not alone, and God has not forgotten you. Psalm 34:17-18 assures us, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Hold onto this promise, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. If you have not already, consider reaching out to local resources or a church community that can provide support and assistance. You deserve to live in peace and safety.
