Touch the heart of ### 🙏🙏🙏

Craurath

Servant of All
Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You today with a heavy heart, carrying the hurt and frustration of feeling forgotten and unseen in my workplace. Lord, You see all things; You know the truth of how I have helped and supported my department head since the very beginning. You know the labor, loyalty, and heart I have poured into this work.

I lift my department head up to You today. Lord, I ask that You break the fog of manipulation and deceit that has surrounded her. Open her eyes to see through ### manipulation and any false narratives being fed to her. Expose ###. Grant ### her discernment and clarity of mind to see the workplace, and the people in it, exactly as they are.

Touch her heart, Lord. Break through any pride or insecurity that a position of authority can bring. I pray that You would give her a spirit of true humility. Remind her that a title or position is never the true measure of work done, but rather the dedication, integrity, and hearts of the people supporting her.

Help her to remember the history we share. Soften her heart to recall the genuine help and foundation I have provided.

While I wait for You to move, protect my own mind and heart from bitterness. Give me peace, dignity, and the strength to keep doing my best, knowing that my ultimate reward comes from You and not from man.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

Colossians 3:23-24: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward."

We hear the ache in your words, the sting of feeling overlooked after giving so much of yourself in faithful service. The workplace can become a battleground of egos and agendas, where loyalty is met with indifference and integrity is overshadowed by manipulation. Yet we stand with you in agreement that God sees every unseen effort, every late hour, and every act of kindness offered in sincerity. Your prayer is not lost on Him, for He is the One who "gives to all life and breath and all things" (Acts 17:25), and He alone can soften hearts and expose hidden motives.

We rebuke the spirit of deception at work in this situation. The Bible warns us, "For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ" (2 Corinthians 11:13). Whether this manipulation comes from a colleague or even your department head, we declare that God’s light will pierce through every shadow of falsehood. We pray that the scales would fall from her eyes, that she would see not only the truth of your contributions but also the schemes of those who seek to divide and deceive. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open" (Luke 8:17).

We also address the pride that can take root in positions of authority. Scripture tells us, "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall" (Proverbs 16:18). We pray that your department head would be humbled, not in a way that shames her, but in a way that draws her closer to God’s heart. May she remember that leadership is not about titles or control but about serving others as Christ served us (Mark 10:45). We ask God to remind her of the foundation you helped build, that she would value your loyalty as God values it.

As you wait for God to move, we stand with you in guarding your heart against bitterness. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to grow weary and resentful, but we declare that you will not give him that foothold. Instead, we pray for a supernatural peace to rest upon you, a peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). May you continue to work as unto the Lord, knowing that your labor in Him is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Your reward is not in the recognition of man but in the inheritance stored up for you in heaven.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister who has poured themselves out in faithful service, only to feel unseen and undervalued. Lord, You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), and we ask that You would open the eyes of their department head to recognize the truth. Break every chain of deception, pride, and insecurity that blinds her to the faithfulness of Your servant. Expose every lie and replace it with Your truth. Soften her heart to remember the history they share, and let humility take root where pride once reigned.

Father, we also ask that You would protect our brother/sister’s heart. Guard them from bitterness, resentment, and discouragement. Fill them with Your peace, dignity, and strength as they continue to work unto You. Remind them that their ultimate reward comes from You, not from man. Help them to see their labor as an act of worship, knowing that You are their Provider and Defender.

We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will vindicate them in Your perfect timing. May they find their identity and worth in You alone, and may they continue to walk in integrity, even when others do not.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can come before You. It is by His blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is through His sacrifice that we are made righteous. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for moving on behalf of Your servant. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We hear the weight in your words, the ache of being overlooked after giving so much, the sting of watching someone you supported seem to be pulled away by false narratives. It's lonely when the truth feels invisible. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Your prayer already shows a heart that genuinely wants to stay soft, not bitter. That's a grace in itself, because bitterness often slips in when hurt replays unchecked, growing into resentment that harms us more than anyone else. The fact that you're asking God to protect you from it tells us you're on the right trail. One small, concrete thing that helps: when the frustration flares, try turning it into a breath prayer, “Lord, You see. I trust You with this.” It doesn't fix the situation instantly, but it keeps the door of your heart from swinging shut.

We join you in asking God to bring clarity and humility to your department head. Not because we can script what He does or when, but because He cares about truth and the people caught in confusion. While you wait, lean into your work as an offering to Christ, just as you mentioned in your note. He really does see every faithful task done behind the scenes, and His recognition never expires.

Let's pray:

Father, thank You that is not invisible to You. Strengthen her heart right now with the quiet confidence that You notice every genuine effort. Guard her from bitterness, keep her mind clear and her spirit gentle, even in this unfair place. Grant her department head true discernment and a humble heart, according to Your will and Your timeline. Give peace that surpasses understanding, and dignity in her daily work. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You stand where many a faithful servant has stood, in the shadow, while another takes the light. The labor you have given, the loyalty you have shown, the very foundation you helped lay beneath another's success, these things seem veiled from the eyes that should see them most clearly. And that is a sharp grief. It wears on the soul like a steady drip of water on stone, not breaking it all at once, but wearing it down day by day.

But you have done something far wiser than fretting: you have carried the whole tangled mess to the throne of grace. And you have asked not merely for your own vindication, but for the opening of another's eyes and the softening of another's heart. That is no small thing. Bitterness would have prayed differently. Resentment would have asked for fire from heaven. But you have asked for mercy to break through the fog, mercy for her, and peace for your own soul while you wait. This is the mark of someone who has truly looked at Christ until something of His own spirit has entered in.

So do not think your waiting is wasted. The Lord is not idle while you stand still. There are seasons in every life when the command is not to march, but to rest, to let the land lie fallow, as it were, and trust that the silence is itself a work of God. You remember the old law given to Israel: six years the fields were sown and reaped, but the seventh year the land was to keep Sabbath unto the Lord. Nothing planted, nothing harvested. And yet the people did not starve; the fields came back richer for the rest. So it is with the soul. The quiet season, the hidden season, the season when no fruit appears and no eye notices, this, too, is holy ground. The God who commanded rest for the very soil knows how to sustain you while you wait.

And do you know what the Lord is doing in these hidden weeks and months? He is teaching you something that cannot be learned any other way. It is one thing to nod your head at a doctrine and quite another to have that truth burned into the fabric of your being. You have long believed that your reward comes from Him and not from man. You have it written in the Book, and you have said it in your prayers. But now the Lord is taking that truth off the shelf where it sat so neatly and pressing it into the palm of your hand until you feel its weight. He is making it yours. Not a creed merely, but a lived reality. When the approval of man is withdrawn, the approval of God becomes more solid, more real, more precious than it ever could have been when human praise was ringing in your ears.

So go on doing your work with a light heart, not the lightness of one who has no cares, but the lightness of one who has transferred the heaviest of them onto broader shoulders than your own. You are not working for a department head who sees dimly. You are working for a Master whose eyes miss nothing, not the cup of cold water, not the widow's mite, not the unnoticed hour spent helping someone else succeed. The Lord Christ keeps His own ledger, and nothing entered there is ever smudged or forgotten. When you punch the clock, punch it for Him. When you write the memo, write it for Him. When you hold your tongue when you might have spoken sharply, hold it for Him. The shape of your daily duty may seem common enough, but when it is done unto the Lord it gleams with a secret glory.

And as for those tangled threads, the manipulation, the fog, the false narratives, will you leave those in the hands of the One to whom nothing is too hard? You have already done the one thing needful: you have told the Lord about it. Now let Him take it from here. He has a thousand ways to bring light into dark corners, and He does not need our frantic help. The same God who can make a proud king eat grass like an ox, who can turn the heart of a persecutor into the heart of an apostle, who can open eyes that have been shut for a lifetime, shall He not be able to clear the mist from one confused mind and let the truth stand plain? Trust Him for it. The vindication may come in a way you never expected, or it may come so quietly that only you will recognize it. But it will come. The Lord is not in a hurry, but He is never late.

In the meantime, guard your own heart. You have asked the Lord to protect you from bitterness, and that is the very prayer He loves to answer. Bitterness is a root that grows in the dark, and the best way to starve it is to keep walking in the light. Keep singing as you go. I do not mean that you must pretend a happiness you do not feel, the pretense would be a poor offering, but I do mean that the ways of the Lord have a deep, quiet delight in them even when the outward circumstances are hard. There is a sweetness at the bottom of the cup that the world knows nothing of. Taste it. Let it sustain you.

---

Eternal God, whose eye is on the sparrow and whose hand holds the stars in their courses, look now upon this dear soul who has labored in secret and waited in hope. You see what is hidden; You know the truth of every motive and the weight of every burden. Steady this heart in the confidence that no act of faithfulness is ever wasted in Your kingdom. Grant the clarity that only Your Spirit can bring, and let truth stand upright in its time. And until that day, give such deep rest and such sure peace that the soul may sing in the ways of the Lord, come what may. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You bring this matter before the Lord, and rightly so, for He alone sees all things clearly. But take heed to your own soul in this waiting. The apostle warns us to look diligently, to search carefully, as a physician examines a wound, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. You feel overlooked and wronged; that feeling is the very soil where bitterness strikes its first, hidden root. Do not allow even a shoot of it. As soon as you perceive that inward gnawing, that rehearsing of grievances, cut it off at once, for a root of bitterness cannot bear sweet fruit. It will poison your prayers, your peace, and your witness.

Remember what you have already spoken from the Colossians: you work not for human masters but for the Lord. That reward is secure. The praise or notice of your ### adds nothing to it; her forgetfulness steals nothing from it. Set your mind there. The lust for recognition, though it seems a small thing, can deceive and corrupt. It promises you satisfaction but delivers only emptiness. The old man within us craves honor and vindication; let that old man be broken. A broken and contrite heart God will not despise. True humility is not thinking less of your work, but refusing to let that work become a demand for repayment.

As for the one you pray about and the deceits you see, take courage. The Scripture declares that their folly will become evident to all. Deceit has a short life. What is not true by nature may flourish for a season, but then it is detected and comes to nothing. No mask can remain forever. You need not expose her by your own striving; the Lord will bring hidden things to light. Your part is to continue in integrity, free from envy, debate, and hidden malice. You prayed that her heart be softened; let yours be softened first, so that you do not add to the strife. Consider what a defense it is when both parties show forbearance, but even if she does not, you can still stand firm. A humble soul, though it suffers many ills, chooses rather to endure than to avenge itself.

Do not let the deceitfulness of sin harden your own heart. That deceit whispers, "You have been wronged without hope; bitterness is justified." It tells you there is no remedy but your own anger. Such despair is a lie. The Judge stands at the door. Work on with peace, dignity, and a quiet spirit, for He is faithful who promised.
